Senator John Kerry (D-MA) Swiftboat Dodges $475,000 in taxes

John Kerry's Tax Dodger $7 million boat

H/T to WeaselZippers for above photo.

Hey Kerry, you freeking Tax Welch? Massachusetts needs your damn tax money to pay for needy people on their universal State health care system.

Registering your brand new $7,000,000 yacht in Rhode Island instead of your own state of Massachusetts is TAX DODGING.

Go hang out at the bar with your fellow tax-dodging buddy, Charlie Rangel.

Fellow Massachusetts Voters, it is time for Kerry to go

VOTE THE TAX DODGER
OUT OF OFFICE!!!

I'm special. I don't need to pay no stinkin' taxes like you little people

Sen. John Kerry skips town on sails tax

By Gayle Fee and Laura Raposa
Friday, July 23, 2010

Sen. John Kerry, who has repeatedly voted to raise taxes while in Congress, dodged a whopping six-figure state tax bill on his new multimillion-dollar yacht by mooring her in Newport, R.I.

Isabel – Kerry’s luxe, 76-foot New Zealand-built Friendship sloop with an Edwardian-style, glossy varnished teak interior, two VIP main cabins and a pilothouse fitted with a wet bar and cold wine storage – was designed by Rhode Island boat designer Ted Fontaine.

But instead of berthing the vessel in Nantucket, where the senator summers with the missus, Teresa Heinz, Isabel’s hailing port is listed as “Newport” on her stern.
.
.
.
Cash-strapped Massachusetts still collects a 6.25 percent sales tax and an annual excise tax on yachts. Sources say Isabel sold for something in the neighborhood of $7 million, meaning Kerry saved approximately $437,500 in sales tax and an annual excise tax of about $70,000.

Gold Coin Sellers Angered by New Tax Law
    abcnews.com | 07/21/10 | RICH BLAKE

Those already outraged by the president’s health care legislation now have a new bone of contention — a scarcely noticed tack-on provision to the law that puts gold coin buyers and sellers under closer government scrutiny.

The issue is rising to the fore just as gold coin dealers are attracting attention over sales tactics.

  4. Foxwood says:

If it doesn’t affect “old gold”, you can expect to see the value of old gold jump a bit as people look to move from new to old.

But the HCR wording just says $600, without differentiating one type of item from another. So it appears to impact just about anything someone wants to sell — even if you just sell used furniture to a second hand furniture store.

seems, not enough people who buy gold to get traction on the story.

Do you really believe the above info will not come true? May I ask, does your shit stink? I mean since your head is so far up your ass. It’s already true. The bill has passes and they can and will tax you for the air you breath next.

  8. Foxwood says:

VF, this will affect garage sales, gun sales, furniture and appliance sales.

This affect those who make less than $250,000 and the rest of the 95% of people who “won’t pay taxes”.

GOP attack plan: ‘Starve beast’ of Obamacare
Bachmann calls for subpoenas, hearings, defunding of big-government ‘nonsense’

One GOP lawmaker has already formulated a 2011 plan of attack should Republicans take control of the U.S. House of Representatives: Serve subpoenas, conduct exhaustive hearings and slash funding to “starve the beast” of the Obama administration’s big-government programs.

“Oh, I think that’s all we should do,” Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., told the GOP Youth Convention in Washington, D.C., today. “I think that all we should do is issue subpoenas and have one hearing after another and expose all the nonsense that is going on.”

She added, “And it’s very important when we come back that we have constitutional conservative leadership because the American people’s patience is about this big, so we have to make sure that we do what the people want us to do.”

    I’m tired At 63
Robert A. Hall is the actor who plays the coroner on CSI if you watch that show.

This should be required reading for every man, woman and child in the United States of America .

    “I’m 63 and I’m Tired”
    by Robert A. Hall

I’m 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs but job-hunting every day, I’ve worked hard since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven’t called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there’s no retirement in sight, and I’m tired. Very tired.

I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I’m tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to “keep people in their homes.” Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I’m willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.

I’m tired of being told how bad America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood Entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the economy of Zimbabwe , the freedom of the press of China , the crime and violence of Mexico , the tolerance for Christian people of Iran , and the freedom of speech of Venezuela .

I’m tired of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family “honor”; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t “believers”; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for “adultery”; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur’an and Shari’a law tells them to.

I’m tired of being told that “race doesn’t matter” in the post-racial world of Obama, when it’s all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of U. S. Senators from Illinois.

I think it’s very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.

I’m tired of a news media that thinks Bush’s fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama’s, at triple the cost, were wonderful; that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush’s military records, but never demanded that Kerry release his; that slammed Palin, with two years as governor, for being too inexperienced for VP, but touted Obama with three years as senator as potentially the best president ever. Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching to Fox News? Get a clue. I didn’t vote for Bush in 2000, but the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.

I’m tired of being told that out of “tolerance for other cultures” we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America , while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.

I’m tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore’s, and if you’re greener than Gore, you’re green enough.

I’m tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I don’t think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I damn sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I’m tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.

I’m tired of illegal aliens being called “undocumented workers,” especially the ones who aren’t working, but are living on welfare or crime. What’s next? Calling drug dealers, “Undocumented Pharmacists”? And, no, I’m not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it’s been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion. I’m willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn’t have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three years in our military. Those are the citizens we need.

I’m tired of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a recruiting station, trashing our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in war? You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave? Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? Not even close. So here’s the deal. I’ll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims, who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we’ll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

I’m tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption. Read the papers; bums are bipartisan. And I’m tired of people telling me we need bipartisanship. I live in Illinois, where the “Illinois Combine” of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama’s cabinet.

I’m tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

Speaking of poor, I’m tiredof hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn’t have that in 1970, but we didn’t know we were “poor.” The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.

I’m real tired of people who don’t take responsibility for their lives and actions. I’m tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.

Yes, I’m damn tired. But I’m also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I’m not going to have to see the world these people are making. I’m just sorry for my granddaughter.

I had a problem yesterday, so I called Eric, the 11 year old next Door,

whose bedroom looks like Mission Control and asked him to come over.

Eric clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.
As he was walking away, I called after him, ‘So, what was Wrong?

He replied, ‘It was an ID ten T error.’
I didn’t want to appear stupid,
    But nonetheless inquired,

‘An, ID ten T error? What’s that? In case I need to fix it again.’ Eric grinned….

‘Haven’t you ever heard of an ID ten T error Before? ‘No,’ I replied.

‘Write it down,’ he said, ‘and I think you’ll figure it out.’
    So I wrote down: ID10T

I used to like Eric, the little bastard

Great posting. I would love to see this on Glenn Beck’s program.

  19. VotingFemale says:

    Good Morning Sam!

Tellit, that is a wonderful summary of Sarah’s accomplishments.

I would also add to it that I have never seen any politician survive such an all out Marxist assault and come out smelling like a rose.

But then… theirs was a personal attack not based in fact. They hate her and now they are being held accountable for their public ideology-based hatred.

It is an example of why people who’s eyes are now open do not trust Congress (The Democrats). Approval rate of which is 11% – the lowest margin since Gallup started that poll in the seventies.

Clearly, the Marxists are not held in high esteem and the country does not have enough “victims” to give the Marxists the permanent control they so desperately seek.

Good Morning VF 🙂 This one is for you and all your efforts in behalf of Our Freedom:

It is so very hot in my neck of the woods.

I am beginning to think that Al Gore ( who invented the Internet) may have also really invented ( GLOBAL WARMING). or, it’s just hot out. You know, summer time.

  24. VotingFemale says:

    brought tears to my eyes.

  25. Foxwood says:

    Good morning VF!

  27. samiam60 says:

Good Morning Foxwood, as you say:
I would pay to see Commie politicians commit Harry Kerry…

    Fox,

We are paying as the Socialist Democrats are committing Harry Kerry with every piece of legislation they Pass.

  28. VotingFemale says:

Hot? mmm… sorry to hear that.

We have been blessed with moderate temps lately.

Remember, I grew up in southwest Texas… desert terrain where heat is a way of life. Grew up with no A/C in the house or car or school. So, I sympathize with folks dealing with heat.

It was a very dry heat which is easier to deal with than humid heat but the temps reached over 110 often. It is amazing to be over heated and drenched in perspiration then move into a good shade and develop chills simply from a breeze blowing across your body …simply amazing.

  29. Foxwood says:

Working on my business again today, so I will be out most of the day. Then again I have to be ready to go at any time on Sunday with Bonnie moving in.

  30. VotingFemale says:
