Steele Calls on Reid to Resign as Senate Leader After Obama ‘Negro’ Comment

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele on Sunday called on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to resign for describing Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign as “light-skinned” with “no Negro dialect” unless he wants to have one.
Steele also accused Democrats of hypocrisy on the matter.”There is this standard where Democrats feel that they can say these things and they can apologize when it comes from the mouths of their own. But if it comes from anyone else, it is racism,” Steele told “Fox News Sunday.”
“If (Senate Minority Leader) Mitch McConnell had said those very words that this chairman and this president would be calling for his head, and they would be labeling every Republican in the country as a racist for saying exactly what this chairman has just said,” Steele continued.

D.C. Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton is warning Republicans against trying to make hay out of Harry Reid’s comments about Barack Obama’s skin color and lack of a “Negro dialect.”
The non-voting member of Congress said Reid’s opponents “will not find a welcome mat in the black community” if they try to seize on his remarks.

I may be the least politically correct one on this blog.Kaine was actually saying that Reid was paying Obama a compliment. In other words Democrats think ‘Negro’ is an upgrade. And I have no doubt Reid uses Purell alcohol based hand sanitizers after shaking Obama’s hand.
Reid is one tough dude. Hell, he even has a keen sense of smell. He claims he can smell ‘em (tourist coming to Capital Hill). LMAO!! Hubby is shaking his head.

I find I don’t see eye to eye with Michael Steele on everything, but this nail he’s hit on the head.

Amazing that those who use the Race Card the Most seem to use the “N” word the most:
Case in point:
Jesse Jackson calls Obama the “N” word over a open mike and it is just OK?
I personally take offense at the use of the “N” word. My offense is that if they can use it then it should NOT be a HATE CRIME for me to use it.
I do not use the “N” word but I think you get my point.
Racism has become a Liberal Weapon against anyone who has an opposing point of view.
Perhaps the Census Forms being used this year are also Racist. Perhaps not? Perhaps they just refer back to a time when there was Sanity in America and Free Speech was not Regulated by Political Correctness.
I’m only filling out what is Constitutionally relevant on my census form, Sami.

Eleanor needs to hush. I remember when she had a debate w/Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs (the darker complexion Negro) & Tubbs was aggressive in snubbing & cutting down Eleanor, as Eleanor is a lighter complexioned Negro.
She says “black community”. Granted, D.C. is a black community within itself due to the population of blacks. But as for the rest of the REAL voting population in the REAL States of of America, there is not much “black community” (neighborhoods) left. There’s so much integrated blood co-mingling & migration to various neighborhoods, its a challenge to even figure out whose real black or not. Opps! I got according to Reid the Negroes.
And another thing, the probable reason why D.C. citizens (blacks) can’t have guns is because Harry Reid & the Democrats don’t want the blacks to have them. Reid figures, its too close to Capital Hill. Remember, Wise man – Harry Reid has a keen sense of smell.
