Homeland Insecurity Janet’s little problem – Enemy Identification; They are Muslim, Janet, Muslim

How many people saw this coming?

Homeland Insecurity Janet sets the tone of the New and Improved Department of Homeland Security ala Barack Hussein Obama’s war on White Conservatives:

And of course, G.I. Janet got this shoved up her Politically Correct Keister:

You mean like how the system worked by allowing the TSA’s secret handbook to fall into Terrorists’ Hands by publishing on the internet?

What are you going to do next, Janet? …light the fuse for them?

In an effort of damage controlling her “The System Worked” attempt to cover her ass, we see this:

Then Janet GLARINGLY and EMBARRASSINGLY dodges the truth when persistently probed:

Janet Napolitano – A clear and present idiot who should not be in charge of a Socialist Mop Closet.

Did you notice her reaction to the report that the crotch bomber boarded the flight without a passport?

Review it at time marker 2:20 into the last video. Looks to me like she is signaling she was not even informed of the report the crotch bomber boarded without a passport.

Go ahead Barack, tell us all how you have complete faith in Janet Napolitano’s ability to run the Department of Homeland Security… just as Bush did for FEMA Secretary Brown, before he was fired for being an idiot like Janet.

morning VF! and morning foxy, sami, lisa!

wow, multiple debates! and I gots to make a phone call very soon.

sami, I answered your q on the previous post. I’ll go retrieve it…

The Bitch dog needs to be FIRED!!!! Nobama held for crimes against America for NOT producing PROOF of WHO THE F— he REALLY is!!
I still can’t believe that he got elected without documented vetting!!

  4. rosehips says:

sami, as you can see our comments crossed and I did respond to VF.

as far as abortion I believe God will be the judge of those who aborted. I have a difficult time discussing abortion because I feel it is inherently wrong but I also feel like its not the worst thing to do to a fetus. I am scared for babies being born today.

Read the entire Exodus 21 to get the context. Here is Exodus 21:24

“foxy, the title on the vid quotes Matthews as saying Alinski is “my hero”. He clearly says “our hero” from the 60’s and I admit he includes himself when he says our but it doesn’t mean that he was matthew’s hero. Then they cut the clip off abruptly. I would like to hear what else Matthews said. It may make his statements clearer.”

That depends on what the definition of ‘is’ is?

  8. samhenry says:

    Hi everyone.

Rose – I am not for the death penalty either. However, I would not put the guilty in a cushy federal prison.

The Radical Muslims are trying to take back at least the Middle East up to the back door of Israel. They are there now. Al’Queda in Saudi Arabia and their fellows in Yemen have recently joined and are calling themselves Al’Queda in the Arabian Peninsula. Now this is not a political action committee. This is a military arm of the radical Muslim community. This last attempted attack was in retaliation for the fact that the US forces (special) and equipment are now in Yemen shoring up the weak government there – made weaker by the fact that Somalia is just across the sea from them.

  9. samhenry says:

I have to bow wow out now and do non-computer things. I will miss all of you.

  14. rosehips says:

yeah napolitano is squirming. C’mon. The system clearly didn’t work. But how do we assure our national security in all the airports around the world? I think the answer would be that one would have to go through a customs type screening conducted by the US before boarding the plane. I don’t think there is a US presence when boarding from other countries. Am I correct? I have not flown internationally since 9/11 so I really don’t know what the screening is, but if this guy had a visa, then he had clearance from the US to enter. (But that won’t prevent him from smuggling explosives on the plane.)If he was on a no fly list, he shouldn’t have a visa. The US needs to tighten up their screening process for visas. And there needs to be better universal screening procedures to prevent this. like I think I said before, they can ban lighters again, but it would be hard to stop someone from smuggling in matches. sigh It is next to impossible to stop a terrorist if they really want to kill us.

  15. LisaInTX says:

    Sami

Well if we stopped trying to rout out insurgents in the mountains and deserts and conceded that sending troops into Afghanistan is too costly and keeping troops in Iraq is too costly and above all not very effective in stopping terrorism. There are some terrorists we catch and kill, and there are some terrorists we create when we hunt them down. So many innocents are killed in the process that it enrages youth who have such limited prospects anyway. So terrorist organizations have many recruits to choose from. If we didn’t spend so much on war, we could spend more on securing our borders from terrorist attacks.

I was watching the British Parliament (yes I watch them as well) and they announced they were manufacturing dozens of new helicopters for their troops in Afghanistan. Rose,

How exactly do we secure our borders?

  40. samiam60 says:

Its seems Obama’s long sorrowful apology for America to the Muslim Nations just wasn’t enough to discourage further attacks. Perhaps we can withdraw all troops from Iraq and Afhganistan and tell them they had better leave us alone now or else. Or, perhaps we should just accept further attacks from the Terrorists knowing we deserve to be punished for all of our humanitarian efforts worldwide.
We could then cut off all Humanitarian funding to Countries around the World and use that money for a really big fence and a whole lot of Green Technology so we aren’t attacked by China for polluting the Earth.

    How would that be?

VF, true that. I bet I could get inside the head of a terrorist better than Janet. heehee

that is why I think it is such an impossible job to stop them. they are smart and they are coming up with better ways to breach security. but in this case, it was a serious case of negligence. That guy should not have been able to get on board without a thorough search. His dad went to the US Embassy to report his concerns. That should at least set off one red flag.

DOG drops from out of the sky on a helicopter sky hook.

    Afternoon all. Lunch is finished.

Belle – keep hat snow in Ohio, PLEASE. It is heading his way.

RE how to improve security for boarding aircraft, my last post took up the matter:

    DATA Disaster waiting to happen:

In 2006, the Department of Homeland Security was cited as follows:

Congressional appropriators have directed the Homeland Security Department’s inspector general to investigate one of the department’s data-mining projects, saying it appears to lack clear guidelines and oversight.

In the fiscal 2007 Homeland Security spending bill — expected to be signed by President Bush Wednesday — lawmakers cite concerns over the department’s Analysis, Dissemination, Visualization, Insight and Semantic Enhancement (ADVISE) program.

If the above lack of clarity of purpose and clear procedures and practices were not in place for the above-mentioned database, what might be said about the database used to screen passengers?

How the data base used to screen passengers functions may need to be updated. It is costly and may need to be extensively reworked but there are now government funds floating around to ameliorate the cost factor. Here are some ways in which data could work for and not against us and we can only hope such data is now being collected:

    * Gather new kinds of data.

    1. We need information on individuals that have been denied entry into another country. The alleged bomber was denied re-entry into the UK. That information should have been in ALL databases in Europe and in the US. New procedures to have this kind of information shared need to be in place.
    2. We need information about national origin AND recent travels to countries of strategic import.

    * Coded information about countries in which US forces are active – known and unknown. Individuals from or visiting these countries would be more carefully examined. Us forces are now very active in Yemen. Anyone from Yemen or who has recently traveled to Yemen be carefully examined.

    * Identification of Domestic persons of concern should be reworked.

    * Review communications between the State Department, CIA, FBI, appropriate Congressional committees and Homeland Security.

We should not have a government with the attitude that it is almost impossible to do such-in -such. That is unacceptable. We should have a government that says that they are proactively working on corrective measures.

Make sure that egg nog has plenty of rum in it because the white death is upon you… lol

  64. rosehips says:

belle, I understand your point. I want the terrorists to stop. But does sending more troops to Afghanistan help? It seems everyone thinks we are due for a major attack. Do you think the attackers are worried about the consequences of their deeds? They are all prepared to die.

There are no consequences for their actions and they know it. We might as well paint a big bullseye over the United States with a sign that reads: strike here for an all expense paid better life! Thanks liberals.

  70. samhenry says:

And Belle, we are talking two breasts, got it?

  71. rosehips says:

SH, thanks for that info on Homeland Security! So the bomber was denied re-entry into the UK? On what grounds? Absolutely they need to have a better system to share crucial info like that. They need to have that kind of thing done before an incident like this happens again.

    good info!

  72. samhenry says:

Belle – I think we really can’t stand by and let terrorists run roughshod over us because of PC. We do have to react strongly (well, we don’t have t invade MULTIPLE countries) because that is what the Arabs respect.

The above said, here is what is happening on the Arabian peninsula:

emen has responded to the most recent incident of terrorism by a round up of 29 suspected al-Qaeda operatives that were planning attacks on oil installations, government buildings and foreign targets. This follows an earlier confrontation with al-Qaeda in which the leader in Yemen and the US Iman operative who had been in contact with the Ft. Hood shooter were both killed.

With a weak government and a strategic location on the Arabian peninsula across from their bases in Somalia, al-Qaeda has been attracted to the area. But the neighboring Saudis have not only noted the same advantages to al-Qaeda but have been contending with cross border conflicts with Shi’ite Muslims. Especially troublesome has been the al-Qaeda union of their forces in Yemen and Saudi Arabia which they call al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

As a result, Yemen has drawn military support from both the US and the Saudis. US equipment and special forces are now in the area. Many believe that the growing US military presence in the area was the spark that ignited the attack on the Delta airliner at Christmas.

  73. ohiobelle says:

Sam wrote: And Belle, we are talking two breasts, got it?

I JUST THREW UP IN MY MOUTH!

  74. samhenry says:

Rose – RE banning from UK of alleged bomber. They can’t spell it out but theories are that it is because of his known contacts with radical Muslims in UK. The radical UK Muslims have an excellent track record of radicalizing young people. UK has bent over backward for Muslims. Their reward: radicals want to turn Buckingham Palace into a Mosque and send the Queen into exile.

  75. rosehips says:

and SH, absolutely countries need to share and communicate better about suspicious travel. I say it is impossible to stop attacks but there is much they can do to catch attempts before they happen. I am amazed that more haven’t happened.
and belle, you are probably right that the response to the USS Cole and other bombings wasn’t effective but who is to say that anything could have been done to prevent 9/11?

  76. samhenry says:

Hell, Belle, you are beyond hope and help. Here, have a little eggnog and you supply the rum.

I have to say one thing about improving data collection and improving the configuration of it in computers re passengers: If you don’t have a bright bulb searching the database, then all is lost.

  77. ohiobelle says:

“As a result, Yemen has drawn military support from both the US and the Saudis. US equipment and special forces are now in the area. Many believe that the growing US military presence in the area was the spark that ignited the attack on the Delta airliner at Christmas.”

Nooooooo! Our Military presence did not spark any attack on the Delta airliner! Who honestly believes that?? I would say Yemens problems are from a water shortage, violent extremism, economic collapse, and a growing secessionist movement. Our Military presence is a blessing.

  78. ohiobelle says:

Hell, Belle, you are beyond hope and help. Here, have a little eggnog and you supply the rum.

The rum taste super fantastic with low fat eggnog.

  79. rosehips says:

SH, We may see that yet….
and thank you for the lessons in conflict. It is all so complex and very scary. The statement about how our invasions could incite attacks like the Delta bomb attempt is valid.

SH said: Their reward: radicals want to turn Buckingham Palace into a Mosque and send the Queen into exile.

  80. ohiobelle says:

Rose wrote: The statement about how our invasions could incite attacks like the Delta bomb attempt is valid.

Rose… So is water shortage, violent extremism, economic collapse, and a growing secessionist movement valid.

  81. samhenry says:

Now that you know from me about Al’Queda in Arabian Peninsula, here is breaking news:

AQAP is now claiming responsibility for the thwarted bombing. Think about it. They have effectively made a link between Saudi Arabia and Yemen to mirror their expected military and political success. They are pretty crafty.

  82. ohiobelle says:

“Yemen’s oil reserves are fast running out, with few viable options for a sustainable post-oil economy. Moreover, the country’s limited water resources are being consumed much faster than they are being replenished. A rapidly expanding and increasingly poorer population places unbearable pressure on the government’s ability to provide basic services. Domestic security is endangered by Islamist terrorism, magnified by a resurgent al-Qaeda organization, an armed insurrection in the North, and an increasingly active secessionist movement in the South.”

And to think our Military presence is the problem?? I think NOT!

  83. ohiobelle says:

BELLE – Al’Queda are using our presence in Yemen as a pretext. THEY have made it necessary for us to be there.

HOWEVER – it worries me that Al-Quaeda is splitting up to spread all over. They are trying to spread us out and wear us down. They know the US population won’t put up with a sustained war.

However, if they keep trying to take down our aircraft, they will find that we can. It is no mistake that it was an alert Dutchman who grabbed that terrorist. He lives in a country overrun with Muslim Militants (peaceful ones ar there too).

  85. samhenry says:

Those pirate issues have been exacerbated by Al’Queda. The Somali pirates are siphoning ransom money to them to fund terrorism.

GREAT POINT! I honestly didn’t think about that… hmmm.. that does pose a problem now doesn’t it??

  87. rosehips says:

belle, you can’t deny that sending troops into a country already with many who hate the US can actually incite more youth to join the insurgency. It is entirely, but not necessarily, possible that the bomber was responding to the surge in troops. I just think its a real possibility that sending more troops can do more harm than good.

belle said: Yemens problems are from a water shortage, violent extremism, economic collapse, and a growing secessionist movement. Our Military presence is a blessing.

possible that the bomber was responding to the surge in troops – Rose

Rose, the bomber was brainwashed as a student in the UK for 3 years long before the US was in YEMEN. We haven’t had a surge there. We have sent in special forces and material.

We should have this as a pattern. Many have said that should have been our MO in Pakistan and perhaps Afghanistan.

Remember: THEY attacked US. But we need to “calibrate” our response for maximum effect. THEY operate effectively with little cost in men and material. Remember that. They are very clever. They have always fought with swift horses, traveling light.

Ambulance Called to Obama’s Rented House in Hawaii

  161. samiam60 says:

AILUA, Hawaii — President Barack Obama abruptly ended a round of golf and sped toward his family’s vacation home for what is being described as a “personal matter.”

An administration official said the first family is fine, but the child of an Obama family friend was injured.

An ambulance was seen speeding toward their compound.

White House aides said the speedy departure and return to the president’s home was not a matter of national security or because of a threat to Obama’s safety.

Obama was playing golf when reporters who travel with him were quickly assembled for a return to the first family’s neighborhood.

Journalists saw an ambulance speed past with its lights on, heading toward the end of Obama’s street. The ambulance would have passed through a security checkpoint at the end of the street.

  162. Foxwood says:

The problem with Bush was that he didn’t put in enough men and get the jobs done quick enough. Bigger, faster, more, get in, win and get out.

  163. Foxwood says:

I wondered where that golf ball went…

  164. Foxwood says:

“No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country.
He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.”
    – Attributed to General George Patton Jr

  165. Foxwood says:

“Sure, we want to go home. We want this war over with. The quickest way to get it over with is to go get the bastards who started it. The quicker they are whipped, the quicker we can go home. The shortest way home is through Berlin and Tokyo. And when we get to Berlin, I am personally going to shoot that paper hanging son-of-a-bitch Hitler. Just like I’d shoot a snake!”
    – General George S. Patton, Jr

  166. Foxwood says:

We are at war with the Terrorists. When your at war, the fastest way to get to peace is to win the war. You don’t take shortcuts and call it won. You finish it. And the most significant part that insures the peace, letting the enemy know you will do it again, but faster and with better weapons. If you don’t do this, they will think they can try again. Then you can’t have a “peace pert” and take that money your not using for war for “welfare” or other sh!t. You have to continue to build your forces to ensure your safety and show the enemy you will mean business.

    Reagan knew this.

  167. Foxwood says:

  173. rosehips says:

foxy, wouldn’t it be so much easier if we were at war with a country and not with insurgents within their borders.

We are not at war with the gov’ts of Iraq and Afghanistan. We are sending troops into their country to find and kill insurgents. But how do you tell who the insurgents are? How are you sure that you are killing the real enemy? Do you trust our military intelligence? Do you trust the people on the street who rat on the insurgents?

bigger, faster, and more expensive. how can you be so sure that killing more people and spending more tax dollars would make us safer today?

I know I’d be mad as hell if you killed my brother because you suspected him to be associated with terrorists.
anyway, I am at my limit of trying to argue about it. I don’t think we could possibly agree on what is the best way to protect us. I know I am in the minority and a bit of a “lone wolf” around here. That ok. I can handle it. No hard feelings. I hope I don’t offend anyone or make anyone angry.

  197. Foxwood says:

Now watch this drive: Barack Obama’s golf swing no match for George W Bush

    By Steve Wilson
    Published: 2:04PM GMT 30 Dec 2008

Footage of Obama on the driving range during a well-earned holiday in Hawaii reveals the Democrat’s mantra of change ought to be applied to his swing.

Obama appears nervy as he addresses the ball and then lifts his head before the shot is completed, as he finishes with limp shoulders at odds with his impressive, unshakeable stance behind a podium.

As a left-hander, Obama would do well to study the form and poise of Phil Mickelson, though having won a ‘major’ at the first time of asking, Obama has one trait he need not exchange with the 2004 and 2006 Masters winner.

Bush by contrast has a sturdy, almost fluid swing that would not sit uncomfortably with most club professionals.

In a scene made famous – or infamous – by the Michael Moore documentary Fahrenheit 9/11, Bush segues effortlessly between matters of state and the fairway.

After calling on all nations “to do all they can to help stop the terrorist killers”, Bush tees up his shot in more ways that one with the line: “Now watch this drive”. He doesn’t disappoint.

A smooth action sees him pivot on his hips and strike clean through the ball and confirm that there is at least one area in which his actions and words come together in happy and effective union.

    Obama Ties Bush on Golf

    James Joyner | Monday, October 26, 2009
President Obama has already played as many rounds of golf after nine months in office as President George W. Bush did in eight years.

President Barack Obama has only been in office for just over nine months, but he’s already hit the links as much as President Bush did in over two years.

CBS’ Mark Knoller — an unofficial documentarian and statistician of all things White House-related — wrote on his Twitter feed that, “Today – Obama ties Pres. Bush in the number of rounds of golf played in office: 24. Took Bush 2 yrs & 10 months.”

Interesting but irrelevant. It’s mildly amusing, I suppose, as a retort to the “Watch this drive!” nonsense and general kvetching about how much time Bush spent on leisure activities that he should have instead been devoting to Iraq/Afghanistan/Katrina. But two sillies don’t make a smart.

The bottom line is that people need down time in order to be effective. That’s doubly true of leaders. While it’s possible to overdo it, I’m perfectly happy to have my presidents golfing, horseback riding, brush clearing, or whatever else it is that allows them to blow off steam and get their minds off the job for a couple hours.

I do, however, wish someone would take Obama shopping for some new pants. First, the mom jeans and now pleated, baggy chinos? C’mon!

  205. samhenry says:

Rosie – I caught something you said earlier –

foxy, wouldn’t it be so much easier if we were at war with a country and not with insurgents within their borders.

RH – we WERE at war with Iraq. We toppled Saddam and kind of cleared away the rubble for some kind of election. In Afghanistan, we got rid of the Taliban and again cleared away the rubble for some kind of election. In both countries we are in there fighting insurgents but it is like anything else to do with war: there are friendly fire accidents; there are psyched out troops who murder locals; there are troops who kill allies in error; there are troops who kill innocent civilians in error. This is the nature of war. I wish there were none to fight but when you do, this is what it is like. The enemy is not out to out PC us; they are out to kill us.

I just hate it that the President makes me feel as if I have to have a terrorist for Tea! lol

  206. Foxwood says:

Ah! The 2 years and 10 months was what it took when Bush was playing golf. After taking a beating for it (which Obutthole doesn’t get from the lame stream media), Bush stopped playing. Therefor, Obutthole HAS already golfed more than Bush in his entire 8 years.

Found this out reading through the google links.

  207. Hey Rose, Blog, no offense but I say they need to be nuked; something similar to Japan.

That is the only way to get them all and shut their coward butts up or they will continue on a regular basis to murder innocent Americans as well as their own people in the name of alla, alla akbar, etc. Good freakin grief.

War is hell and civilian casulaties are the sadest part about it, however America is great because we stand for Freedom and Liberty and do what must be done for our safety as well as safety of the world.

The world is a much more dangerous place now that these idiots have been elected and are running things.

Hey it’s bleeding out into the states where creeps, thugs, and the general population are clearly given the green light simply because they are not white. Obama’s election has set a precedence that proves if you are not white you can lie, coverup, hide and down right commit a crime and you will not be help accountable. In other words, why has he never produced a long form birth certificate? BECAUSE HE HAS NONE.

Why did his first day in office did he do an executive order for himself? To assist in covering up his records, yes that is what his first order of business was.

Barry’s First Executive Order; Concealing his records – Imagine That!

America has been and is being cheapened everyday by the gross and vulgar thugocracy running this country…and running this country into the ground.

  208. samhenry says:

I have this bizarre dream that terrorists travelers will become second nature to us and were I seated next to one and he took out a match, I would be so bored with the whole thing I would turn to him and say: “put that thing away. Let’s not go through that again.”

Warrant – you have good points there and I agree with most out of frustration.

I think there will be nuclear activity in the area sooner rather than later. Iran is right there next door to the Saudis and Israel will take care of them.

It will end. However, I hope their people have not spread to other countries to produce the same situation. It appears they have a big foothold in the UK.

  211. samhenry says:

  213. samiam60 says:

Well said WG, Bravo and to top things off he is vacationing with his Chicago Thug buddies as we speak!

Had an ambulance at the home already. Maybe Tiger Woods is there, who knows?

The president was playing golf with friends from Chicago who joined him on his holiday vacation. The White House is not identifying which friend’s child was injured.

After a brief delay, Obama returned to the course.

  214. samhenry says:

One record Obama holds: The most traveled President in his first year – perhaps for his term.

  215. Foxwood says:

I’m getting ready to walk out the door in the next hour, SamH. So far, so good. But I’m on call New Years Eve. If It all works out, I’ll have a bottle of Jim Beam ready at 12:00.

  216. samhenry says:

I am getting very tired of the term Obama in the morning, Obama in the noon-time and Obama before my head hits the hay.

We have a terrorist enabler as a president straight up.

  217. samhenry says:

Glad to hear you’re holding up FOX.

  224. Hang on gotta call from Afghanistan…bbl.

  225. samhenry says:

Her call reminds me of how real this whole nightmare is. We are living a nightmare.

I am not as worried about what innocent we will kill in someone else’s country; I am concerned with who terrorists will target here in mine and it will happen again. I don’t see that humankind can push back the idea that a small handful of people can terrorize a nuclear power.

  226. samhenry says:

  229. samhenry says:

I have been studying the protocols in place for getting on a plane in the US to go anywhere. You are pre-screened by the Airline.

The Homeland Security Database will take more study. They were called on the carpet in 2006 for not having a handle on their goals for it or good procedures in place that made sense – I think I have that down from the article I read.

  230. samiam60 says:

War is war and civilians get killed. It happened in Germany and Japan. And now to say we can’t do it because it will cause others to join the enemy cause. Kill the brother and cousin also. It’s war.

  233. Foxwood says:

War is war, if some people don’t like it, bury your heads in the sand and let the brave and bold keep your way of life and your life safe.

  234. samhenry says:

Rose is a natural born fighter by instinct and if she ever found herself in a kill or be killed situation I can assure you she would rise to the occasion if by pure adrenalin alone.

  239. Foxwood says:

I KNOW some French got killed with the invasion of Normandy. War is war and dirty. It had to be done.

  240. samhenry says:

Sam – I know Rose to be a survivor; I also know that she loves a good well-rounded debate. She does a good job of it here. She is quite a plus all around.

FOX – I agree. Let Allah sort it all out.

Hey, Sami, how about a little fresh underwear for your EX mother-in-law for her trip to Denmark?

  241. Foxwood says:

She says that we make more insurgents by staying. Hmmm… Exactly how was it that Bin Ladin put it.

We are a paper tiger, because we don’t finish what we start. Then he declared war on us. We create insurgents by not being at war, Rose.

So you could say we create insurgents no matter what we do.

    So kill them.

  242. samiam60 says:

Civilian loses in war are always much higher than military loses.
Think of all the bombings of England and Europe not to mention the incindiary bombs we dropped on Tokyo and the Nukes on top of that.

Civilian losses are staggering and not accurately reported.

  243. samhenry says:

War is the ultimate expression of hatred in the World today. Once a person is exposed to the carnage of war they become desensitized and are capable of extreme violence with few regrets.

    Sami re the above

It took my brother 20 years to “come home” in every sense from Viet Nam.

  244. samhenry says:

Right you are to remind us of this, Sami. The German blitz of London was horrendous.

Imagine this. A New Yorker bound for Yemen gets on a plane with terrorist underwear. It just is ridiculous to think about. I don’t understand a culture where suicide is a weapon. Ditto Japan.

  245. samiam60 says:

Now population control is ok if your a lib cause by eliminating old people and babies you are making life better for those who are productive.

How can a person condemn War and support Population Control.

Are not the two the same?

  246. Foxwood says:

These people don’t like Christians and they don’t like Americans. It has nothing to do with us being there or not being there. They will kill us whether we are in Afghanistan or not.

We were not in Afghanistan when they hit our country. Explain to me how if we stay, we create more insurgents again.

  247. samiam60 says:

    We can never come home.

Sami – I know that you believe that. I wish you had another religion. You are home with us. I’ll just bet you are more afraid of what you think you are capable of than anyone is of you. Sami – forgiveness is everywhere. You send it to us in your messages about the Lord. Trust in those messages and know that we all have it in us to do good and bad. I have seen bad stuff through the eyes of my brother – he doesn’t have to say much. He hosed the remains of his friend out of a downed helicopter.

  251. Foxwood says:

I think instead of letting John Kerry going to Iran, the President needs to let Jimmy Carter go. 🙂

  253. samhenry says:

  254. samiam60 says:

This is what our Terrorist Muslim friends want

  255. Hey guys, I’m back for a minute. It’s so nice to chit chat for a minute and good to hear from you guys too. VF, LOVE THIS BLOG!!!!

Ok, yes SH what you said about the Muslim/Islamic presence in the UK, girl you are not kidding, truly it is unreal.

However, I don’t see a big difference here, esp. in our nations capitol or any of American tourist areas. Most businesses are being taken over by middle easterners/terrorist (if you will).

I was in Europe (GB and Wales, etc.) in ’89, ’05 & ’09. In ’89 all the shops, eatery’s etc. were owned and run by locals. Now, for every 20 shops 2 may be locally owned.

It’s the same in America too, except maybe worse because the ones that come here have $, a lot of the foriegners in the UK, walk to get there.

The ones coming to America have $ to get here and $ to buy the hotels, gas stations, 7 11’s, etc.

Five years ago I had a friend living in Turkey and the Turkish people got like 400k each year for their oil royalties on being Turks.

So, to me bottom line is that (many, not all) terrorist like minded people coming to the US as well as the UK do so with the purpose of learning the culture and habits of the people and using it against us.

A friend of mine works for wrigly gum and goes to these gas stations out in the boon docks etc. and one day she walked in and went about her business and said, “Hey it’ s me, Barbie (name changed to protect the innocent) I’m here from Wrigley’s as she was walking up to the counter where a couple of men were seated and sprawled out about them were all types of automatic weapons, etc. and money. needless to say she got the hey out of there and never went back. another friend was telling me about the little 711 about 20 miles up the road was being sold by the local yocal and this guy (middle easterner) kept coming with his suitcase filled with American cash, like 300k to buy the store and the owner became even more determined to not sell it to him and never did.

Now what the heck is this guy/terrorist going around with that much cash?

So, yeah it’s to infiltrate, learn the culture, divide and conquer.

I’ll have another phone call from Afghanistan in a few so this may be it for me.

SH, Blog, Rose, et al, I’ve enjoyed it. Take care. Me

  256. samhenry says:

    Sami – that is terrifying.

But that IS what they want. These are people who have spent thousands of years living with little in the middle of a desert. They have nothing to lose.

I have to get to bed before I blind myself with this computer.

Sleep well dear Sami; Take care at work, dear FOX. See you tomorrow. It’s a race to the canon!

  257. Foxwood says:

“FOX, you are being so bad – Jimmy Carter indeed! lol”

    Who? Me? 🙂

  258. Oh, hey Samiam60! How could I forget to mention you by name? 🙂

    SamH,

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. Please understand I make no apologies for what I did there nor have I ever asked for forgiveness from God.

Give unto Ceasar what is Ceasar’s and unto God what is God’s.

When I say we can never come home I mean just that. We are here and take our horrible experience there to build a better life and a better Country that would be free of war. Fact is as long as there is mankind there will be war.

    We never do come home.

  260. Foxwood says:

  262. LisaInTX says:

Alexis de Tocqueville never met Harry Reid. Had he encountered the Senate Democratic leader—or President Barack Obama or House Speaker Nancy Pelosi—de Tocqueville might have learned about a new twist on his concept of the “tyranny of the majority.”

The Frenchman toured America in the 1830s and published his conclusions in the classic “Democracy in America.” He noted the powerful impact of public opinion. “That is what forms the majority,” he wrote. Congress merely “represents the majority and obeys it blindly” and so does the president. They are free to brush aside minority opinion, creating a threat de Tocqueville described as the “tyranny of the majority.”

Democrats in Washington do have large majorities in Congress. But instead of reflecting popular opinion, they are pursuing wide-ranging initiatives in defiance of the views of the majority of Americans. This stands de Tocqueville’s concept on its head…..

Blogwood, very well spoken. “….wars and rumors of war…” old testament prophetic scripture.

Man is fallen and will never be at peace on this earth, God knows, understands and ordaines.

God allowed Obama in office for a reason, I’m not sure why but some days I think I know. But for now live day by day.

That is what my husband says. I’m a planner and he’s a rebel living in and for the day. I’ll say something like, well what about this or that? and he’ll say, “thats next week”, I’m living for today. Hey, you know what? That’s what God says too, don’t worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will take care of itself, today has enough worries.

hubby says, “if you are not living on the edge you are taking up too much room”

  274. LisaInTX says:

In the aftermath of the Copenhagen Climate conference, it is clear that the United Nations-driven process is a bust, and that any similar process requiring economic suicide and massive wealth transfers will go nowhere. It is long since time to drop this charade, take the question of climate change out of the hands of the U.N., and implement more reasonable policies.

Fostering the resilience of societies around the world in case climate disaster strikes would be a start. Central to this process is for governments to stop making things worse, as they do when they subsidize risk-taking.

One reason that predicted damages from rising sea-levels and more powerful storms are so high is because of the popularity of coastal locales for high-density business and upscale residential development. As a result, damages from extreme coastal weather events have been fantastically expensive. The damages from Hurricane Katrina for example, reached over $150 billion. The question, however, is why there was so much value that was so badly protected against completely predictable events? Why were levees and sea-walls so under-designed? Why were so many houses and businesses uninsured? As Charles Perrow observes in “The Next Catastrophe,” “Even in areas known to be hazardous, only about 20% of homeowners purchase flood insurance, and less than 50% of businesses purchase flood and earthquake insurance in risky areas.”

    Good topic.
“Thou shall not Kill” is not interpreted correctly in the King James Version, from what I’ve read.
The Torah is the correct version.
To kill in self defence or to protect your loved ones, country, property is not murder.
To murder is like killing someone to take something they have that you covet/want or to murder at random.

  277. Foxwood says:

And the Libs take the context of the Bible to fit their needs.

I’m obsessed with “knowing’ what is going on in our Nation more now, than ever before. It is like a since of urgency that I just can not put aside anymore.
Maybe I have too much time on my hands to think on all this?? Before I was always working trying to help make ends meet in our budget, raising our sons, etc….now, I have the farm and all the critters that I should be spending more time handling and not so much on the computer.

  284. LisaInTX says:

LOL—-his signal was weak and the calls dropped every few seconds, but I finally got enough info to find him—he was in the boonies for sure—way off the beaten path and miles from any house….
Not sure if any damage was done to the car—but we did scrap some trees pulling it out after he let his “girl” try steering it out and went off the path again and got stuck again!
They were in the bottoms and NUTS to try driving thru it!!
He said he tried backing up, but it wouldn’t grab so he drove a little further and tried backing again but it just spun—–LOL
Next he knew he was in the pond….
He had his flashers on—almost pitch black, Looked like a UFO had landed down there!! Hahahaha

  285. Foxwood says:

Kids! you can always hope they learn from their mistakes…

  286. LisaInTX says:

Yeah LOL—-moral of the story is don’t drive thru weeds taller than your car, in the dark, down a path you’ve never been down, especially after a rain storm! LMAO

Well I gotta get to bed Foxie—see ya tomorrow. Have a good night and don’t work too hard.
I post pictures of his car tomorrow with the mud….lol

  287. LisaInTX says:

Oh, and i hate mud that sucks your shoes off your feet!! Just hate it!!! hahahaaa

    Somalia Update – Online times:

Pass beyond what is described as government territory in the Somali capital — a few blocks between the airport, the harbour and the presidential palace — and you are at the mercy of al-Shabaab, the extremist Islamic group that holds sway across southern and central Somalia. Where it rules, it has implemented laws and punishments reminiscent of Afghanistan under Taleban rule.

It has banned bras, football, dancing and musical ringtones. This weekend al-Shabaab decreed that men must grow beards and shave their moustaches. Its fighters have destroyed Sufi tombs and disinterred colonial-era Italian corpses. Its Sharia courts have ordered public floggings, the chopping off of hands and feet of thieves, the stoning to death of adulterers and beheadings of apostates and spies.

Suicide attacks and roadside bombs have grown in number, leading Western intelligence agencies to conclude that there are growing links between al-Shabaab and al-Qaeda. The agencies warn that t

Here’s the Homeland Security Data Dance:

First you put in your 3rd string risks
Put in ‘more memory and spin that disk
Then you put in your “may be” guys
All they do is smuggle their Koran lies
Then you put in your no fly men
Let the FBI, the CIA and others In
    Restructure data to update them
You mix ’em up and see corrupt data win….

SamH, Obama’s personal ties to Islam never shows more glaringly than at times like these… In his short speech yesterday on the Islamic Holy War Attack on US Citizens by the crotch bomber, the only time he uttered the word Islam/Islamic was in reference to Iran’s official Government Name.

What a president does not say can be louder that what he does say.

  305. VotingFemale says:

I want every Islamic in line to board a plane to be totally groped and cavity searched including their children.

If innocent Islamics don’t like it let them turn on the real cause of the searches… The Islamic Jihadists… not the American People under the guise of Political Correctness.

See… this is about who is not searched… the Islamics want everyone searched if they are searched… well there are 2 million people a day who board planes within or to the US… how many of them are Islamic? This is an Islamic Holy War on America… not a Christian Holy War or a Buddist Holy War or a Jewish Holy War.

SEARCH EVERY SINGLE ISLAMIC IN LINE TO BOARD A PLANE and tell them if they don’t like it then clean up their ISLAMIC PROBLEM THEMSELVES SO NO ONE NEEDS TO BE SEARCHED

  306. samhenry says:

Good points, VF. You are for lining them up and inspecting them. I am for lining them up …

It will cost money but tough. We need profiling. However, Islamists have jumped the shark and are using Anglos.

And on our side, we need to clean up our data but from what I have read, it will be impossible. As you can imagine, data re terrorists is drawn from many databases and then formatted for the activity of the branch of Homeland.

Goood morning samiam, VF, and SamHenry!

    I’ve heard 2 things-

    1) the bomber got through without a passport

    2) there maybe as many as 25 more attacks planned, but the guy is being treated like he has our civilian rights, has “lawyered-up”, and thus the dumbass Obama administration didn’t squeeze him for all he knows. In ‘real linda’ that means interrogate that bastard. I’m sure his dad would sign a consent form if it makes Janet Incompetano feel better.
