Pavlovian Left Wing Loon Baiting, an Artform of exploitative takedown; UPDATED

Enticing Left Wing Loons into Raging Emotional Attack while controlling the circumstances, thus the playing field, is an interesting and powerful skill.

Consider this Radio Interview of Sarah Palin by Rusty Humphries yesterday…

First Half:

Remaining Half:

What did Sarah say about the absent Obama Long Form Birth Certificate?

That that controversy was fair game in politics…

Did she pick a side or state her personal views on the issue of whether Obama has something to hide?

No… she didn’t. That will be left up to those who do have views about the polarizing controversy.

In effect… she stimulates the dialog without engaging in the dialog other that to say… a secretive controversy of an opponent is fair game in politics.

After the radio interview, Sarah commented on her facebook page:

“Stupid Conspiracy Theories”:

Voters have every right to ask candidates for information if they so choose. I’ve pointed out that it was seemingly fair game during the 2008 election for many on the left to badger my doctor and lawyer for proof that Trig is in fact my child. Conspiracy-minded reporters and voters had a right to ask… which they have repeatedly. But at no point – not during the campaign, and not during recent interviews – have I asked the president to produce his birth certificate or suggested that he was not born in the United States.

Turning a Stalking Aggressor into a Rug…

When stalked by an animal of much greater size, use their power, size,  and strength against them to take them down. Their charging attack can be used to destroy them.

Consider the bear trap… a deep wide hole in the ground with upward pointing sharp spears embedded in the floor of the trap… and the hole covered to camouflage it’s existence. Set the stage for enticing the attack of a stalking bear positioned to fall into the trap in a charging attack. With the trap set… bait the bear into attacking in Pavlovian fashion using yourself as the bait.

End Result? Dead bear… impaled by virtue of their own body mass and mindless Pavlovian attack nature.

This tactic was used with great success at iReport.com; an odd combination of a forum-esque membership community blogging venue; triggering the Leftist Trolls into a Pavlovian raging attack of hatred which produced their lifetime banning for violating the Terms of Use… we called it “flat lining the trolls” and took many socialist troll scalps in the process. 😀
UPDATE: And now comes Andrew Sullivan, the Left Wing Loon of Loons… a bit behind schedule but well within the window of opportunity!

Palin Puts The Trig Question Back On The Table « Andrew Sullivan

You see… Andrew Sullivan is infamous and the most postal example of a Head Spinning Sufferer of Palin Derangement Syndrome… oh and he likes to refer to himself in the third person as… ‘This Blog”

    Ahahaha, great post there VF.

In my final day over at Ireport I am happy to say that I went down in a blaze of Glory andtook down 4 Athiest Libs in one swoop.

My subsequent identities over there did well in bringing down a few more libs which came to be very easy. Stop em in their tracks using Common Sense and they use their Rage and Personal attacks to bring em down.

Way too easy and yet so much fun.

  2. VotingFemale says:

I told him to hug her and tell her I love her! hahahaahah

  7. tellitlikeitis says:

I have a suggestion. Since everyone had such a good time taking out the liberal trolls on icry then lets create a battle blog. A blog that we can have some fun doing battle with them and knocking them out of the ring just like the old days. lol

  8. LisaInTX says:

This video shows an amateur scalper….
Real scalping is an art form, not hacking as in the video!! hahahha
    But she gets a B+ for effort…heeeee

  15. tellitlikeitis says:

  16. tellitlikeitis says:

VF, Do you still block the trolls from making comments?

  17. VotingFemale says:

I like taking out the loonies as much as the next one… thus, all are open to bring the obama worshipping munchbutts here for a spanking! 😉

    tellitlikeitis says

we are a very seasoned team, Tellit…

  21. samiam60 says:

Ahahahaha Lisa I love the Troll Scalping Training Video.

  22. VotingFemale says:

The Thinking Atheist is in the business of attacking a Religion… Christianity.

Let’s see him attack Islam! hahahahahaha

Islamic Trolls would hunt him down, cut off his head and crap down the hole, then rape his wife and make slaves of his children.

Christians try to save him from himself.

    go figger lol

  23. LisaInTX says:

    Sami–Good morning.
Nice day for some troll hunting huh? hahahaha

Glad you liked the training film…HAHAHA

  24. LisaInTX says:

    VF
Yeah—he sounded like that troll ‘voice of god’ on Icry..hahahaa….
Sami, wasn’t he attached to you and one of the scalps you have in your collection?

  25. samiam60 says:

Yepper Lisa, Voice of God, Martin T, all in one swoop. I am forgetting the other one. Lisa you remember he said something about me saying something about his deceased brother. What was his name?

  26. samiam60 says:

mech126 there it is. There was one more in my sucicide mission. They were all Athiests.

  27. LisaInTX says:

What those hateful atheist do NOT realize is that We The People are protected in everyway to enjoy freedom OF Religion. It is THEY that are infringing on OUR rights, not vice versa.
The sooner those folks figure this out the ‘happier’ they will be in their I don’t believe in nothing haze!

  28. samiam60 says:

Atheism is merely an escape from reality, Lisa.

It helps them justify their horrendous deeds.

  29. LisaInTX says:

    Sami
They attached to you because you have a strong faith in God, and those ‘I don’t believe in anythings” WANT to believe—those that truly don’t believe in anything IMO—will not make the effort. Unless they are nothing but hateful trolls spreading their hate, which is the case in most of the attacks as I see it.

  30. samiam60 says:

Our Calender is divided by BC and AD.

    Hmmmmmmmm, that says it all.

The Bible has never been destroyed nor will it ever be. It is protected by God.

  31. samiam60 says:

It was amazing Lisa the comment count on anything I posted over there pertaining to God.

Wow, it was like a shark feeding frenzy.

  32. LisaInTX says:

    Sami
I agree and will add that Communism does that to people and why most of those following the Democratic Party of today, are nothing but totalitarians and want to destroy everyone that does not agree with them.
Full blown Socialism aka Commie lite, is EVIL and filled with Hate for their fellow humans.

  33. Foxwood says:

This post is the best, VF. I hope it draws some game. 😉

  34. samiam60 says:

That’s right Lisa, Communism is the absence of God.

  35. VotingFemale says:

well… the way to handle asshat atheist Christianity hating dirtbags is to turn Islam loose on them.

see… the thing of it is… Islamics view the God of Jewish and Christian religions to be the one in the same God they also worship…

The only reason Islamics call God Allah is the same reason hispanics call God, Dios.

Allah is Arabic for God… the one and only God.

They choose to believe the messenger Mohammed’s version of God’s word as written in Arabic in the Qu’ran.

So.. when Atheists attack ‘God’, they attack Allah… and THAT folks can be used to bring the Atheists flack from the Islamics.

  36. LisaInTX says:

I remember Sami—also how the one stole you photo…..what a bunch of rapid infantile losers.

  37. samiam60 says:

This is by far one of the best blog posts.

A great Diversion from the Obama blight.

  38. Foxwood says:

    Wow! Snow!

    I hate this global warming!

  39. samiam60 says:

Good Point VF, I like that one a lot.

  40. samiam60 says:

Foxwood I had Global Warming Ice on my windshield this morning.

    Run Gore Run

  41. samiam60 says:

Imagine if Gore had won the election over Bush?

Imagine how Obama would handle another 9/11?

    ALL VERY SCARY THOUGHTS.

  42. Foxwood says:

This is the earliest in recorded history to have snow this early in the year for Beaumont, TX. And snow is rare.

  43. samiam60 says:

Oh and what ever happened to our Vice Presidential Hopeful John Edwards?

  44. samiam60 says:

Did not John Edwards ask the American People to

    “Trust Him” ?

  45. LisaInTX says:

    Morning Foxwood
I saw something very odd this morning too. A big white spot in the middle of Texas almost centered over Waco, moving south toward Houston….It was white and cold and they are expecting 1-2″ of the stuff!!
    What ever could it be?????
I may not have ‘invented the internet”, but I have enough common sense to know SNOW when I see it mr Al Gore the Global Hoaxter

  46. samiam60 says:

Al Gore is making a new movie titled “Ice Age”

He might as well capitalize on that too.

  47. Foxwood says:

Tellit, Beck just played that Bill Ayers vid.

  48. LisaInTX says:

    Science 101
What I find amazing is the ease of the name change. It went from Man made Global warming to Climate Change.
Like DUH/?? Yes, the climates do change every year….as a NATURAL cycle of our planet….man kind does pollute the air and the environment, but to TAX us for farting and breathing and also every living thing on the planet….LOL—oh Pleeeeeeze!! hahaha

  49. VotingFemale says:

    I wrote an iReport titled:

    Jesus was a Centrist…

    AND OBAMA IS NOT -AMEN
Question: What part of a Centrist is against helping others? When did Jesus take from the rich and give to the poor? Did Jesus teach people the purity and compassion to give willingly to those less fortunate or did he force them to do it or rip it out of their pockets then hand it out?

iReport saw fit to eventually black out the picture of Jesus…

    check it out…

    http://rss.ireport.com/docs/DOC-213407

here is a link to the graphic iReport saw fit to blackout! lol

  50. VotingFemale says:

Here was Rosehips first comment on the Jesus was a Centrist iReport

rosehips said on February 14, 2009:

Jesus loved everyone. Jesus reached out to everyone. But he taught us to take care of the meek and humble, the poor and disabled, the downtrodden. Centrist? ummmm, I wouldn’t say that.

Jesus was a socialist, i’m certain.

  51. Foxwood says:

Al Gore is making a new movie titled “Ice Age”

I think Disney might sue him on that one. As Martha would say, “that’s a good thing”.

  52. samiam60 says:

I love it VF.. I did so enjoy playing a role in Sheps demise . I cannot claim the scalp but Enola Gay ruffled the feathers.

  53. samiam60 says:

Geodike was another near miss for me. That would have been a good scalp.

    I think DavidW misses us.

Ireports had some substance back then.

  54. VotingFemale says:

see… the debate was framed in the context of Jesus teaching people the purity and compassion to give willingly to those less fortunate

The Socialists have an agenda of taking that which is not theirs then giving what they take while keeps a portion of the loot for themselves and pretend to be the good guys…

it is all so simple… and a political scam.

  55. LisaInTX says:

    VF
Maybe because it was a ‘white’ Jesus? lol

And I’ve heard that LAME crap about Jesus being a Socialist til I could puke! As I recall he states. Give unto Caesar what is Ceasars!
Don’t remember him saying rob Peter to pay Paul…:-/

  56. VotingFemale says:

    you got it!

and pray tell me what is offensive about the picture of Jesus that iReport would black it out?

they are asshats to the end! hahahaha

    LisaInTX says

    VF
Maybe because it was a ‘white’ Jesus? lol

    Sami
Gore can play the part of the goofy squirrel creature chasing the acorn…maybe he could be a prehistoric “Global ACORN Organizer” –LOL

  58. VotingFemale says:

one of my early on the comment log comments on the Jesus iReport…

See, my view of what Jesus is love for all people… rich, poor, bad, good. He said it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Why? Because great wealth is often it’s own punishment. But he never took from the rich and gave to the poor, that I have ever been aware of.

    That would be stealing.

He ask… for the sake of the souls of the rich, that they might share of their own accord and will.

For he loved them no less.

  59. Foxwood says:

Rose said: ‘Jesus was a socialist, i’m certain.’

I gave her this quote often enough, “The goal of socialism is communism.” — Vladimir Lenin, and she continued to deny it. But Communism’s God is Science and Government.

  60. m2 says:

    What’s up.

Jesus believed in help/change/love through LOCAL means. Like the individuals of New Orleans remaking the city, not FEMA.

Jesus would think socialism is no different than the CENTRAL expansive corruption of the Romans/Jews of his political era.

Obviously the founders of our country, Thomas Jefferson in particular had more in common with Christianity as revealed by Jesus- than the socialist central power politicians that have been exerting their tyranny against humanity since it’s inception.

The individual is prevalent in Jesus, as he tells us we are each a special creation by God.

Socialists see humanity as a collective, unspecial mass- even to the pt. that it must be eugenically depopulated to keep their power and feign concern for the “environment”- which they believe above the life given by God.

Think Jesus would say they have lost their way. But that is their choice.

  61. VotingFemale says:

arguing with an elitist is always fruitful, not.

the socialists see themselves as above the unwashed masses… the herders of the throng of helpless sheep… the need for feeling elite necessitates the need for creating sheeples to woship their divine-ness.

Socialists have a fundamental low opinion of those they see as ‘the masses.’

Sarah Palin identifies with the masses… and is one of them… ergo the socialists’ total hateful vileness towards her.

    Foxwood says

Rose said: ‘Jesus was a socialist, i’m certain.’

I gave her this quote often enough, “The goal of socialism is communism.” — Vladimir Lenin, and she continued to deny it. But Communism’s God is Science and Government.

  62. VotingFemale says:

she is fun and basically a nice person whom I think highly of… we did not let our politics get in the way of friendship…

    Foxwood says

    I miss Rose…

  63. tellitlikeitis says:

Has anyone heard from rosehips lately? I hope she is doing ok. I have to admit I miss her.

  64. ohiobelle says:

Why are we talking about iCry?

Did you hear the numbers for November?? They said unemployment dropped to 10%. I honestly wish somebody could tell us the true number. I find it very hard to believe that we only lost 11,000 jobs in November. Not everybody is going to dress in the fat man’s suit. How did we go from 100,000 in October to 11,000 in November??? Something doesn’t sound right to me.

  65. LisaInTX says:

BTW: I called my “friend” to ask her about her hero Al Gore the hoaxster and she has not called me back!! LOL—imagine that, maybe it was the phrase Climate-gate that I left on her voicemail…hahahaha >8-} heeee

  66. VotingFemale says:

    well said…

  67. m2 says:

That’s right. If socialism is the answer- then why does it have to be imposed.

Whereas freedom is the natural order- not socialism.

And free will is what God gave us. Free will is the device that truly helps our neighbors.

  68. tellitlikeitis says:

  71. ohiobelle says:

    Hello Lisa.

If our government claims we are in a economic recovery and jobs are being created or saved… I AM GOING TO FLIP OUT!

  72. LisaInTX says:

    Hey Belle!!
I’m so sorry to hear about the job loss….
Hope something else turns up quick for you.

I agree too—wished we had a REAL accounting of WTF is going on!

  73. m2 says:

Belle I saw a tweet that the real number is 17% unemployed.

  74. ohiobelle says:

    Hello m2 tellit and vf.

Have you guys been buzzing around iCry?

  75. LisaInTX says:

    M2
You are so RIGHT ON girlfriend!!!
I find it amazing how so many can misquote and twist totally out of context, the meanings behind divine common sense ideology.

  76. samiam60 says:

Rosehips if you are reading this I wish you well in all that you do.

I was thinking about you the other day and had to go hug a tree.

  77. tellitlikeitis says:

The only reason Obama and the Democrats care about the unemployment situation now is because they know that if the unemployment rate is still hanging around 10 percent like predicted by Nov 2010 they are going to get their a$$e$ handed to them in the next election. I think they are starting to read the tea leaves now and are getting scared as they should be.

  78. ohiobelle says:

Lisa wrote: I’m so sorry to hear about the job loss….

Ahh… Thank you. I am getting so sick and tired of all this hope and change. I busted my ass to end up right back where I started.

m2 wrote: Belle I saw a tweet that the real number is 17% unemployed.

I still think the number is closer to 23%.

  79. LisaInTX says:

I’ve emailed Rose several times to see how she was doing and have not heard back once!

I too miss Rosie girl. :-[
    and her little crab too……..

  80. m2 says:

I know. Their hypocrite to boot because of abortion thing, and I’m pretty sure Michael Moore just politicizes Jesus to make more $$$.

ie. Jesus was uncool when a Republican was President, yet Jesus is now brought up by the same assholes in order to back Obama’s Socialist-Marxist-Crony takeover.

    Michael Moore makes me sick.

  81. LisaInTX says:

I heard the number was like 22% unemployed, by using those that are no longer able to get unemployment benefits and those that have just given up looking for work…. :-/

  82. LisaInTX says:

    Tellit
Pelsoi is NOW blaming the lack of job creation on the previous Bush Admin—LOL—like she was NOT a part of that one too!! Corrupt has been cowpatty!!

  83. samiam60 says:

M2 that is a very good link indeed.

17.2 % feels more like it.

    OhioBelle,

You will be fine dear because you are a fighter and a Conservative right wing, birther, Obama Bashin, teabaggin, Constitution loving, We the People Lovin, Freedom Fighting, all American Woman. Nothing can stop that from succeeding in this life……….Nothing 🙂

  84. m2 says:

Tellit- their last great HOPE is the 500 billion slush fund from the stimulus to buy democrat seats back.

But endevours such as theirs, concepted through lies and intentions to deceive are always bound to fail. As in NJ and VA and most likely NY-23, since Owens frauded the hell out of the vote and was benifited by the Socialist Dede controversy.

  85. Foxwood says:

While we now know that there is no global warming, it is still humanity’s duty to be the custodian of the planet. If we can economically reduce pollution, we must, but not as the risk of our security, and that means the economy.

  86. VotingFemale says:

she is excommunicato as far as I know…

  88. m2 says:

Heading out for a bit, bbl!

  89. ohiobelle says:

Do you guys know how hard they are making it to start a small business. I’ve been looking into doing something and it’s impossible. If I could start up a small business then I could start offering people jobs! Why isn’t our government doing something about that??

Rose? Does she still report on iCry?

  90. VotingFemale says:

Arlington mayor fires at Obama online
Tags president as a Muslim on Facebook

In the opinion of Arlington Mayor Russell Wiseman, President Barack Obama’s speech on Tuesday night on the war in Afghanistan was deliberately timed to block the Christian message of the “Peanuts” television Christmas special.

    Russell Wiseman
Wiseman made the statements on his Facebook page, where he declared Obama to be a Muslim. Only people on Wiseman’s “friend’s list” had access to the post. He has more than 1,600 friends on Facebook.

“Ok, so, this is total crap, we sit the kids down to watch ‘The Charlie Brown Christmas Special’ and our muslim president is there, what a load…..try to convince me that wasn’t done on purpose. Ask the man if he believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he will give you a 10 minute disertation (sic) about it….w…hen the answer should simply be ‘yes’….”

“A Charlie Brown Christmas,” which first aired in 1965, has become an endearing program for many because of its emphasis on the “real meaning of Christmas,” including Linus’ memorable reading from the Gospel of Luke of Jesus’ birth.

In Wiseman’s extensive thread that attacked the president, his supporters and Muslims, he stated “…you obama people need to move to a muslim country…oh wait, that’s America….pitiful.”

At another point he said, “you know, our forefathers had it written in the original Constitution that ONLY property owners could vote, if that has stayed in there, things would be different……..”

When contacted Thursday, Wiseman declined to comment about his Facebook posts.

“It’s ridiculous for someone to send my Facebook post,” Wiseman said. “You guys are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.”

As the popularity of social networking sites such as Twitter, MySpace and Facebook has increased, some organizations, such as some NFL teams, have banned the use of posting comments online because of inflammatory and embarrassing remarks that invariably make it into the public domain.

To avoid online controversies, Ellyn Angelotti, a faculty member at the Poynter Institute, said that everyone, not just public officials, must to be careful of what they post on the Internet.

“A lot of people think Facebook is private so only a limited number of people can see their post,” Angelotti said. “But the reality is that it can be made public.

“You’ve got to be careful. The same social rules that apply in real life should be applied to the virtual life.”

Wiseman said his post received more than 70 comments.

Prostitutes Offer Free Climate Summit Sex

Copenhagen Mayor Ritt Bjerregaard sent postcards to city hotels warning summit guests not to patronize Danish sex workers during the upcoming conference. Now, the prostitutes have struck back, offering free sex to anyone who produces one of the warnings.

Copenhagen’s city council in conjunction with Lord Mayor Ritt Bjerregaard sent postcards out to 160 Copenhagen hotels urging COP15 guests and delegates to ‘Be sustainable – don’t buy sex’.

“Dear hotel owner, we would like to urge you not to arrange contacts between hotel guests and prostitutes,” the approach to hotels says.

Now, Copenhagen prostitutes are up in arms, saying that the council has no business meddling in their affairs. They have now offered free sex to anyone who can produce one of the offending postcards and their COP15 identity card, according to the Web site avisen.dk.

    Discrimination

According to the report, the move has been organized by the Sex Workers Interest Group (SIO).

“This is sheer discrimination. Ritt Bjerregaard is abusing her position as Lord Mayor in using her power to prevent us carrying out our perfectly legal job. I don’t understand how she can be allowed to contact people in this way,” SIO Spokeswoman Susanne Møller tells avisen.dk.

Møller adds that it is reprehensible and unfair that Copenhagen politicians have chosen to use the UN Climate Summit as a platform for a hetz against sex workers.

“But they’ve done it and we have to defend ourselves,” Møller says.

From the Patriot Post—LOL—I’m gonna send one—

‘Tis the season to assault anyone and everyone for using the word “Christmas” to describe Christmas. For example, the Orange County Superior courthouse promptly removed a Christmas tree upon fielding a single complaint. The tree had been a holiday fixture for about 20 years, and courthouse officials soon received dozens of counter-complaints about its removal. This caused them to restore the tree to its proper place. Meanwhile, The Gap has an ad wishing you a “Happy Whatever-you-Wannakah” — what we jokingly refer to around our humble shop as Christmahanakwamadan.

With that wonderful holiday spirit in mind, we have a suggestion. We believe that the ACLU, which is often at the forefront of the battle against religious liberty, could benefit from a little less bah humbug. Therefore, we recommend sending them a Christmas card. Don’t be rude or crude, simply ensure that the card says “Merry Christmas” and send it to 125 Broad Street, 18th Floor, New York, NY 10004. And sign it Bob Cratchit.

Rep. Issa: Obama’s refusal to investigate ‘Climategate’ emails is ‘unconscionable’

The U.N.’s decision this week to investigate whether some of its climate change research had been manipulated constitutes a “direct rebuke” of the Obama administration, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said Friday.

The White House’s unwillingness to open a similar inquiry could now only be characterized as “a sad abdication of their responsibility to ensure that U.S. policies are not driven by corrupted science and data,” the congressman added.

“The very integrity of the report that the Obama administration has predicated much of its climate change policy has been called into question and it is unconscionable that this administration and Congress is willing to abdicate responsibility of uncovering the truth to the United Nations,” explained Issa, the ranking member on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Motivating Issa’s calls for a probe into climate change research, and the U.N.’s decision to launch one, was the publication last month of thousands of e-mails and other documents that global warming skeptics say prove the phenomenon does not exist.

Some of those e-mails contained discussions about how to best portray data sets, among other topics. Scientists maintain their comments have been taken out of context, but those who fiercely oppose the climate change thesis argue the e-mails invalidate all the research.

The U.N. announced it would probe that data this week, mostly because some of the research in question touches on related work either completed or promoted by its own Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

But the White House has largely dismissed the litany of Republican calls to open an inquiry into that research — Issa’s included — because its top scientists contend one controversy hardly undermines decades of more reliable research on climate change.

“It is important to understand that these kinds of controversies and even accusations of bias and improper manipulation are not all that uncommon in science, in all branches of science,” said Dr. John Holdren, the president’s science adviser.

Bozell Defends Networks’ Silence on ClimateGate:
    “Maybe They Just Don’t Know”

Alexandria, VA – For the fourteenth straight day, the three broadcast networks have failed to report on the great and growing ClimateGate scandal on their weekday morning or evening news programs. How to explain this?

Perhaps it is that ABC, NBC and CBS have not yet heard of the story, despite two weeks of non-stop reporting on and discussion of ClimateGate in a whole host of media outlets.

Perhaps the broadcast networks only trust their fellow liberal press outlets, like the New York Times. Perhaps they don’t realize the Times exhibited journalistic diligence on ClimateGate, with a front page story the day the story broke.

In the event that ABC News, NBC News and CBS News missed the news, the Media Research Center (MRC) is today rushing each of them a copy of the Times story, in the hopes that armed with this new information, they will finally report a story that has been roiling nearly everywhere else for a fortnight.

So as not to offend the networks’ pro-global warming sensibilities, MRC President Brent Bozell is looking to have the stories delivered by bicycle messenger.

    Bozell:

“Ignorance is no excuse under the law, but maybe we should stop criticizing and start showing compassion for NBC, ABC and CBS and their neglect of the huge ClimateGate story. We are more than happy to help rectify their knowledge deficit – via a network-friendly source and in an as environmentally-friendly a way as possible.

“We think that once the networks read the story of ClimateGate in their vaunted New York Times, they’ll feel compelled to report it themselves.

“We very much look forward to seeing the fruits of their labor.”

Now I am sure none of you guys mean any offense… but guy talk needs to stay in the locker room.

I have offered before to give the guys on the blog their own men’s only conference room for “men talk”… the offer is still open, just let me know.

Tiger Woods is a typical horndog who got caught. A horndog who had done a good job up until recently to keep his sexlife private. I dont want to know about his sex life anymore than I want to know about my father’s sex life and for the same basic reasons.

And whatever happens, he is responsible for his actions and the results of those actions.

I am disappointed that I have to think about him screwing some woman behind his life mate’s back when he is being televised while playing golf. ugh

  155. tellitlikeitis says:

Vf, Thanks for the explanation. I try not to make any of my comments crude. I realize there is more to a woman than just sex but we are basicly just intelligent animals which means sexual and physical attractiveness are important to us. It’s hard for most of us men to be monogomous. I believe there is something in our DNA that compels us to spread our seed( if you will) to different and other female partners. Maybe we deserve the title “Horn Dogs”We were put on this earth to thrive and procreate. If I were as famous as Tiger Woods I am sure it would be hard to resist the temptation to cheat but you would know sooner or later someone was going to talk and you would get busted. You have to weight whether it was worth the risk. If his marriage is not working out for him it would be better just to get divorced , cut your losses and move on. I believe the reason men or women cheat is because they are missing something emotionally or sexually at home and have to look to somone else to get that fullfillment. If you are a cheating spouse you will get caught eventually. guaranteed!

3 Reasons Why There Will Be No Carbon Deal

Time and time again business leaders say they need politicians to agree on a framework for carbon emission reductions that will allow them to invest.

    Cop15 Conference in Copenhagen
    ——————————————————————————–

But, despite the many calls, they aren’t likely to get that certainty from next week’s climate summit in Copenhagen, the so-called Cop15. Instead, they will get an agreement to keep talking and another round of talks that will add a lot more hot air to the atmosphere.

It is very easy to see why there will be no legally binding deal by the conference conclusion Dec 18.

First, the Cop15 process has the misfortune, like the Kyoto process in 2001, to be debated at a time when the global economy is on its knees. In 2001 the dotcom bubble had just burst. Now in 2009 we are facing even bigger problems in the wake of the credit crisis. Trying to get politicians to sign up to an expensive and ambitious plan at a time when fiscal budgets are under huge pressure already did not help the Kyoto process and will likely be a factor in probable failure in Copenhagen.

Whether a skeptic or a believer on the climate story most people feel rather detached from what is a long-term story. If you are a U.S. worker who has just been laid off and is trying to feed and house a family, reducing your carbon footprint will not be a major priority. Similarly an Indian worker living on $4 a day really has other problems that must be dealt with before being asked, via the tax system, to help fund a program that could in the short term at least hinder economic growth.

Politicians faced with millions of voters in this position will struggle to sell the idea of huge investment and spending at a time when they are already pumping billions into stimulus plans aimed at rescuing a deeply unpopular banking system.

Second is the uncertainty surrounding the science of climate change. The majority of the scientific community believes the correlation between carbon emissions and warmer temperatures is FACT. But others have serious doubts about this conclusion. The resulting arguments between the believers and non-believers has led to a bitter row in the scientific community that has created huge amounts of uncertainty about whether climate change is really something to worry about.

As the Chairman of DuPont, Charles Holliday told CNBC’s Squawk Box taking a complicated, controversial and rather abstract subject like climate change and then convincing people to spend vast amounts of money and to change their way of life is a tough sell, whether in the U.S. or China.

The third point to consider is political division. The developed world is being asked to fund the developing world’s move to a lower-carbon future. China is now the world’s biggest polluter but argues that per capita it is way behind members of the G7, like America and Europe. So the developed world is being asked to not only significantly change their consumption but also being asked to fund, via billions of dollars being transferred to countries like China, India and Brazil, other countries’ attempts to lower carbon levels. This does simply not sell to voters and despite lots of rhetoric there are very few major nations on earth that are ready openly discuss the implications of the deal with voters.

So for these reasons, don’t expect a solid deal on carbon next week. Instead, expect an agreement to keep talking and another round of talks that will add a lot more hot air to the atmosphere.

Washington (CNN) — Support for President Obama has dropped below 50 percent for the first time in a CNN poll despite high marks for his recently announced Afghanistan policy.

Forty-eight percent of Americans questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. national survey released Friday said they approve of the job Obama is doing as president — a drop of 7 percentage points from a survey last month.

Fifty percent said they do not approve. The difference of 2 percentage points between approval and disapproval falls within the range of the poll’s sampling error.

“The poll indicates that the biggest drop in approval comes from noncollege-educated white voters,” said Keating Holland, CNN’s polling director. “That’s one indication among many that Obama’s growing unpopularity may be more related to unemployment and the poor economy” than to factors such as his strategy for Afghanistan.

Six in 10 of those questioned said they favor Obama’s move to send 30,000 more troops to that country. Two-thirds also support his plan to start removing U.S. forces from Afghanistan in 2011 — although the poll indicates most Americans think that announcing such a date in advance was a bad idea, and they are skeptical about whether conditions then will allow the United States to meet that goal.

And support for Obama’s policies does not translate into backing for the war; a majority still said they oppose U.S. action in that country.

“That may currently be a reflection on George W. Bush rather than Obama,” Holland said. “Two-thirds say they blame the former president, not Obama, for the problems the U.S. currently faces in Afghanistan.”

But the poll suggests the conflict eventually may become Obama’s war, with 54 percent saying they will blame him for any problems the U.S. faces in Afghanistan in 2011.

The poll was conducted Wednesday and Thursday after the president spelled out his new Afghanistan policy in a prime-time address Tuesday night at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York.

Several polls in late November indicated Obama’s approval rating had dipped this low even before this week’s speech. Weekly averages of national polls from mid-October through mid-November showed Obama’s approval consistently at 52 percent or 53 percent.

“But in the week before Thanksgiving, his average approval rating slipped to 49 percent — solid evidence that something was going on before Obama announced his Afghan policy,” Holland said.

Obama’s rating dropped 18 percentage points among noncollege whites, but 4 points among whites who attended college, a good indication the economy and other domestic issues may be hurting the president.

Obama also dropped 15 percentage points among whites under 50, but 4 points among older whites.

“That may partly be due to Afghanistan,” Holland said, “but the young are also the group hardest hit when unemployment rises. The same is true for white women, whose approval of Obama dropped 12 points.”

Obama is not the first president to drop below 50 percent in his first year in the White House. President Reagan’s approval rating dipped to 49 percent in November 1981 and stayed below that mark for two years. President Clinton also dropped well below the 50 percent mark by May 1993, the fastest fall on record.

The CNN/Opinion Research poll was conducted by telephone, with 1,041 people questioned. The survey’s overall sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Baucus Nominated Girlfriend for U.S. Attorney

    AP

A spokesman for U.S. Sen. Max Baucus says the Montana Democrat was in a romantic relationship with the woman he nominated for U.S. attorney.

  230. samiam60 says:

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus was romantically involved with a former staffer when he recommended her earlier this year to become the next U.S. attorney for Montana, a spokesman said.

The Montana Democrat and his former state office director Melodee Hanes began their relationship in the summer of 2008 after Baucus separated from his wife, Ty Matsdorf told The Associated Press late Friday.

Baucus nominated Hanes for the U.S. attorney post in March. But she later withdrew, saying she had been presented with other opportunities she couldn’t pass up.

The Senate leader who’s been a major proponent of Democratic health care legislation had submitted six names to a third-party reviewer, who whittled those to Hanes and two others.

Matsdorf said the senator sent the three names to the White House with no ranking to the White House to select a nominee.

Matsdorf said Baucus’ relationship with his girlfriend had nothing to do with his decision.

“Senator Baucus recommended each of the three candidates based solely on qualifications, and merit, knowing whichever one the White House selected would serve Montana well,” Matsdorf said.

The spokesman said Baucus and Hanes decided during the nomination process that she should withdraw her name because the couple wanted to live together in Washington, which they later did.

Matsdorf declined to say why the senator was just now disclosing the circumstances surrounding the nomination, which was first reported in Roll Call, an online publication that covers Washington politics.

Baucus and his ex-wife Wanda announced last April that they planned to divorce after 25 years of marriage, his second. In a joint statement, they said they had “parted ways amicably and with mutual respect.”

Hanes started working for Baucus in 2002 and was his state director before leaving his office earlier this year for a position in the U.S. Department of Justice.

“Mel is supremely qualified and she got to her current position based solely on her merit,” Matsdorf said.

President Barack Obama eventually nominated Helena attorney Michael Cotter for the U.S. attorney post, which supervises prosecutors of all federal crimes committed in Montana and the state’s seven Indian reservations. Cotter is awaiting confirmation.

Word of Hanes’ nomination follows other recent disclosures of romantic liaisons by political leaders, including South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., and one-time Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards.

Sanford faces a possible impeachment following his affair with a woman in Argentina. Ensign, who has acknowledged in June to having an affair with a former member of his campaign staff, has made it clear he intends to serve out his second term. Edwards was forced to drop out of the 2008 election after he had an affair with a videographer on his presidential campaign.

Baucus was elected to the Montana House in 1973 and to the U.S. House in 1974 and 1976.

He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1978 at age 36, and his current term runs until 2014.

The senator has played increasingly visible roles in Congress, sometimes willing to buck his Democratic Party on certain issues. He seems to take the position that the state that sent him to the Senate for five terms is fundamentally conservative and its voters want someone willing to vote outside the party line.

Most recently Baucus has been at the center of an effort to move sweeping health care legislation through the Senate with a bill aimed at meeting Obama’s goal of overhauling the nation’s health care system to cover 48 million uninsured Americans.

On Friday, Baucus went against his party and backed a Republican effort to eliminate a long-term care insurance program to help seniors and the disabled. Republicans argued that the new plan would be a drain on the federal budget.

The Democrat has also been in the middle of other congressional battles: He played a key role in 2003 legislation adding a prescription-drug benefit to the Medicare program and enactment of President George W. Bush’s tax cuts in 2001.

Senate’s Progress on Health Care Bill Grinds to Halt Over Democratic Divisions

    By Carl Cameron

    – FOXNews.com

President Obama’s sweeping vision of a health care overhaul, which barely gained the House’s approval last month, has come to a screeching halt in the Senate where Democrats remain sharply divided and Republican opposition hardens.

  232. samiam60 says:

Tea Party’s and Town Hall’s seem to be making a big Difference.

  233. samiam60 says:

The amendment process continues to crawl forward, and this historic health bill continues to evolve and improve,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Friday on the Senate floor.

After five days of debate, only two issues have been tackled through amendments: expanding women’s health screenings and Medicare. The really big issues remain stalled behind closed doors.

Democrats need 60 votes to end the debate and pass their bill, but centrists in their party object to some key provisions.

The proposed creation of a government-run health insurance option could be a deal killer — moderates like Democratic Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas and Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., promise to oppose it. But so far, there is no agreement on an amendment.

Lieberman focused on other objections Friday, joining Sen. Democrat Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, a recent Democrat convert, and Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine in what they called a tripartisan amendment proposal to curb costs and improve care.

“We need to further reduce cost,” Collins said. “Second, we need to increase transparency to give consumers more information. And third, we need to improve the quality of health care.”

Lieberman vehemently opposes the public option and has threatened to filibuster it.

“I think it would be wrong and terrible for our country,” Lieberman said. “I think it would result in worse health care and more expensive health care and certainly a more enormously greater national debt.”

Lincoln proposed an amendment, certain to pass, banning any tax subsidies for compensation packages for insurance company executives. But she, too, reiterated her threat to block any health care reform containing the so-called public option.

“I’ve been very clear,” she said. “I don’t support a public option that is government-funded or government-run and that puts the taxpayers at risk in the long run.”

Sen. Ben Nelson,- D-Neb., also opposes the public option but is also making abortion a battle line. He demands an outright ban on tax dollars being used to end pregnancies — but again, no agreement has been reached on how to do that and no amendment scheduled.

Democrats are so far apart on their difference that they can’t even bring up amendments to deal with them. It’s so bad that, just to fill time, they spent most of Friday on nonbinding proposals that state they should be fiscally responsible, measures that would have no binding impact on health care legislation at all.

    Within his silence

  249. samiam60 says:

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea has ordered its border guards to open fire on anyone who crosses its border without permission, in what could be an attempt to thwart defections by people disgruntled over its recent currency reform, a news report said Saturday.

The National Defense Commission — the top government body headed by North Korean leader Kim Jong Il — recently instructed soldiers to kill unauthorized border crossers on the spot, South Korea’s mass-circulation Chosun Ilbo newspaper said, citing unidentified sources inside the North.

It said the order could be an attempt by the communist government to stop members of North Korea’s middle class who are angry over suddenly being deprived of their money from leaving the country.

Officials at South Korea’s spy agency were not immediately available for comment Saturday.

Thousands of North Koreans have defected to South Korea in recent years, most of them via China. Last year, about 2,800 North Koreans arrived in the South, up from about 2,500 in 2007.

The reported move came amid signs of growing anger among North Korean citizens left with hoards of worthless bills.

On Monday, the government informed citizens and foreign embassies that it would redenominate the national currency, the won. But it limited the maximum amount of old bills that could be converted into new ones, telling residents to deposit the rest in government-run banks, according to media reports and diplomats.

There are widespread doubts among North Koreans whether they would be able to get their money back, they said.

Angry citizens burned piles of old bills at two separate locations in the eastern coastal city of Hamhung on Monday, the Daily NK, a Seoul-based online news outlet that focuses on North Korean affairs, reported Thursday, citing an unidentified North Korean resident.

It quoted the resident as saying he saw graffiti and leaflets criticizing North Korean leader Kim Jong Il in and around a college in Hamhung — a rare move in a country where the totalitarian government keeps tight control over its 24 million people.

However, a Tokyo-based newspaper considered a mouthpiece for the North’s government claimed Friday that North Koreans were praising the currency reform.

The Choson Sinbo cited the North’s central bank as saying the reform was aimed at boosting the country as a “socialist economic power” and that the role of the markets would be gradually weakened as state control over the economy is strengthened.

North Korea set the exchange rate at 100 old won in cash to 1 new won, though it offered a 10-1 exchange rate for personal savings at banks to encourage more savings, the Choson Sinbo said.

Initially, residents were only allowed to exchange 100,000 won per household for the new currency. But the government later increased the amount, allowing each family member to trade an additional 50,000 old won for new ones, according media reports.

The North Korean won was previously officially traded at 145 to the dollar, but more than 3,000 were needed to buy $1 on the black market, according to Dong Yong-sueng, a senior fellow at Samsung Economic Research Institute in Seoul.

The overhaul of the won — the most drastic in 50 years — appears aimed at curbing runaway inflation and clamping down on street markets that have sprung up. The government is also retaking control of the economy from the hands of merchants, analysts say.

Unable to feed its people, the government began allowing some markets in 2002, including farmers’ markets.

The markets have encouraged trade but have also sold banned goods such as movies and soap operas from rival South Korea, posing a threat to Kim’s totalitarian rule, analysts say. The country’s largest wholesale market in Pyongyang was reportedly shut down in mid-June.
