Sarah Palin may not respond to Paul Mirengoff’s article but this Mama Grizzly will…

Don’t you find it…  odd?
Karl Rove’s
O’Donnell-bashing pre-dicky-meant?

I Do…

Mama Grizzly is watching...

Paul Mirengoff doesn’t seem to find it odd and takes an opportunity, in the last two weeks before the mid-term elections, to bash both Huckabee and Christine O’Donnell in one article. Conspicuously missing in Paul Mirengoff’s GOP Elitist hit piece is Sarah Palin. Perhaps the reason for that is Sarah Palin bites back leaving her own personal Mama Grizzly imparted ‘woundings’ when deserved.

Paul Mirengoff — Power Line Blog:

Mike Huckabee has blasted Karl Rove and the “Republican Party establishment” for the “elitism” and “country club attitude” that he claims has driven Republican criticism of Christine O’Donnell. Huckabee says that he too was the victim of the such elitism when he ran for president. In Huckabee’s view, both he and O’Donnell suffer because they “didn’t go to the right school and [attend] the proper cocktail parties on the D.C. social circuit.”

This expression of self-pity is beyond stupid.

mmmm… stupid. Oh wait, “beyond stupid.” I see… and Mirengoff goes on to say:

The problem that some in the Republican establishment (and some of outside it) have with O’Donnell begins with the fact that she has very little chance of being elected, and her nomination seems destined to cost the Republicans a pick-up in the Senate in a year when majority status is a possibility. The problem extends to concerns about O’Donnell’s flakiness and seeming inability responsibly to handle her own financial affairs, among other things.

O’Donnell’s poll numbers reflect to a degree, but in no small measure, the results of GOP Elitist attack commentaries and pieces such as this Megan McCain-esque snort-piece from Mirengoff.

Is Paul Mirengoff a Romney backer? Remember Romney backers in the McCain campaign whispering anonymously to the lamestream media, that which was intended to hurt Sarah Palin? Gee… how forthright and un-progressive like, these backers of Romney.

While I am not a Huckabee backer for a 2012 presidential run possibility, you will not see me bashing Huckabee as some GOP Establishment Elitist-wannabe bloggers are bashing Christine O’Donnell and Mike Huckabee and, when the time is right again, Sarah Palin.

But Huckabee’s attack on Rove shouldn’t be understood as a serious argument. Like most of what Huckabee says, it is better understood as a means of advancing his interests – in this case, his interest in currying favor with the Tea Party movement in advance of a possible (and I would think probable) run for the presidency.

To me, it is not that Huckabee is “currying favor,” rather, it is Mirengoff currying disfavor, not that I expect anything less in an anti-Huckabee hit piece… However, [I] will make my own decisions as to what to understand as a “serious argument” and what to discard.

It does not matter what life handed to someone or did not hand to someone who has the will, determination, and grit to get a job done and done right.

Michael Oher and his parents Sean and Leighann

Michael Oher is a perfect example of overcoming life circumstances and non-snobbery enabling that has allowed Michael to get a job done and done right with will, determination, and grit.

Karl Rove interviewed just recently with Der Spiegel, a dominate European media company and said of the Tea Party, they are unsophisticated.

The grassroots Tea Party movement is not a political party. The GOP is a political party who, like the Democrat Political party, has a problem with listening to the voices of the Majority of Voters in this country.

If the GOP thinks they can tell the American Population to shut-up and sit down like Obama & Co does… they will be replaced in a new Conservative Party who does listen.

Many liberal pundits and their friends in the MSM, have consistently accused us on the right of making false accusations about the way the left looks to Obama as if he were the Messiah. Unfortunately for them, Jeremy Write presented Obama such a twisted image of Jesus, that he actually comes off like he has a messianic complex. I guess this is part of the reason that he has such a narcissist attitude which almost compels him to actually encourage such behavior from his followers. That’s why those of us on the right have been able to find finding evidence to prove we are right. The first time we saw evidence of what has become a routine today, was a Month before the Presidential election in 2008. A video surfaced of some black youths who had been trained by Obama’s followers to worship him like the German youth were trained to worship Hitler.

There are a lot more union workers where they came from and folks are a lot more steamed than when Scott Brown was elected.

Karl Rave’s machinations helped foist Obama on the country, and drove many people straight out of the Republican ranks. I know–I was one of ’em. From supporting Arlen Specter to expansions of Federal government in which no decent conservative should ever have had a hand, the guy has proved that, for him, opportunism will trump principle every time.

Rove has so ticked me off especially with what all he says about his fellow Republicans.

VF, you are so right. I am just flabbergasted at what the dems/liberals are saying even now. It just blows me away.

FOX, I once went out with a girl in Miami. When she removed her wig, makeup, false eyelashes, and assorted stuffings, I didn’t even recognize her. So I’m with you. Sometimes these facelifts are so tight, it’s a wonder they don’t squeeze the brains right out of their heads. Everytime the mouth opens, the eyebrows wiggle–and the facelifts the men get are ALWAYS worse. You only get old if you’re lucky. People oughta just enjoy it.

I swear I was the only woman in Yokohama with red nails. The Japanese women all had french nails with tan tips. I normally have my nails done in french tips but with white as is the custom in the US. I felt conspicuous, to say the least, but didn’t let it slow me down.

It was too funny, the Japanese women and me studying each others nails. hahaha They probably thought my nails looked slutty or something but I didn’t have time to have them “revarnished” as they say in the U.K.

Dem congressman: Hey, let’s impeach John Roberts
posted at 9:57 pm on October 25, 2010 by Allahpundit

Via the Blaze, the logical conclusion to weeks of Democratic demagoguery aimed at the Supremes’ decision in the Citizens United case, which of course made it safe for swarthy foreigners to buy the election this year by donating to the Chamber of Commerce or something. This is almost too stupid to dignify with a response, but content is content. Essentially this tool wants you to believe that Roberts committed perjury during his confirmation hearings when he said he’d be an impartial “umpire” on the bench, which DeFazio took to be some sort of guarantee that Roberts would never overrule a precedent. That’s simply insane; no would-be judge, especially a Supreme Court nominee, would ever pledge to be bound by precedent under any and all circumstances. And no Democratic caucus would ever vote to impeach a conservative judge on these grounds for the simple reason that they want liberal judges to be free to overrule “problematic” precedents too when they’re back in the majority. In fact, here’s a choice excerpt from Kagan’s opening statement at her confirmation hearings. If Roberts got booted, bet your bottom dollar that the GOP would repay the favor vis-a-vis her promises of judicial “modesty.”

  55. Foxwood says:

Another fine day in the People’s Republic. I see on Drudge where there’s already voting irregularities being reported. Registars assure everybody it’s on the up and up. Then how come the mistakes are always in favor of the Democrats? Seems like the law of averages would somehow allow a Republican’s name to be mistakenly checked once in a while.

did you see the articles about electronic, software controlled voting machine that someone proved they selected the straight-gop vote option and the machine switched it to straight-dem. it did it over and over when the voter got the officials involved… finally it accepted straight-gop.

LAS VEGAS — Some voters in Boulder City complained on Monday that their ballot had been cast before they went to the polls, raising questions about Clark County’s electronic voting machines.

Voter Joyce Ferrara said when they went to vote for Republican Sharron Angle, her Democratic opponent, Sen. Harry Reid’s name was already checked.

Dianne Feinstein: outlook “bad” (for Boxer)

In the not to be missed category, Sen. Dianne Feinstein stepped way out of the spin cycle yesterday, as she is often wont to do.

Feinstein was at a campaign event for Sen. Barbara Boxer in San Jose, and was asked by KTVU’s Randy Shandobil how things were going, and she replied, “bad.”

    Feinstein is Boxer’s campaign co-chair.

Shandobil asked whether Feinstein meant in the House, which Democrats are widely expected to lose, and Feinstein didn’t answer. Later, after the event, she (un)clarified this much: “I think the prevailing view is, and I don’t think this is necessarily correct, is that it’s a very difficult time, there’s no question about that.”

Boxer is locked in a toss up with Republican Carly Fiorina. Although an LAT poll over the weekend put Boxer ahead 8 points, most other polls, including internal GOP polls, show Fiorina about a point behind.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, after the National Republican Senatorial Committee announced it was raising its bid on Fiorina by $3 million yesterday, said it was coming to Boxer’s aid, but wouldn’t say by how much.

Pretty remarkable that Dems are having to defend deep blue California. It’s clear this is the toughest race Boxer has run since her election in 1992. Boxer will be at a townhall for Cisco employees today headlined by CEO John Chambers. Fiorina will be at a press conference with small business owners in Riverside and another stop in Coachella.

  69. VotingFemale says:
