I read the article linked to titled Fort Hood soldier ordered to delete video of rampage and I demand that heads roll for this in the Army, but I am not holding my breath.

This guy was ordered by his US Army superiors to destroy his video evidence of muslim Maj. Nidal Hasan’s murderous rampage at Ft. Hood.

This is what happens when an Muslim Terrorist Hugging Socialist is the Commander-In-Chief.

Poll: Many Obama 2008 supporters defecting to GOP

By LIZ SIDOTI, AP National Political Writer Liz Sidoti, Ap National Political Writer – 1 hr 38 mins ago

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama’s winning coalition from 2008 has crumbled and his core backers are dispirited. It’s now Republicans who stand to benefit from an electorate that’s again craving change.

Nearly two years after putting Obama in the White House, one-quarter of those who voted for the Democrat are defecting to the GOP or considering voting against the party in power this fall. Just half of them say they definitely will show up Nov. 2, according to an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks poll released two weeks before Obama’s first midterm elections.

Yet in a reflection of broad dissatisfaction with politics, just as many people who backed Republican presidential nominee John McCain are either supporting Democrats now or still considering how to vote.

Still, McCain voters — to borrow Obama’s campaign rallying cry — are far more “fired up, ready to go.” Two-thirds say they are certain to vote next month.

It’s a wide enthusiasm gap that’s buoying Republicans, who are poised for big electoral gains, and worrying Democrats, who are seeking to hang onto majorities in Congress as well among governors. Obama’s party hopes its superior get-out-the-vote operation, updated from his groundbreaking campaign, can overcome Republicans’ energized supporters to mitigate expected losses across the board.

While no president can be expected to fully rally his supporters when he’s not on the ballot, the survey illustrates the wide scope of Obama voters’ disappointment with the president and his policies almost halfway through his first term — and two years before he’s likely to seek their backing again.

To find out how the electorate’s political views have changed since the 2008 election, the AP and Knowledge Networks re-interviewed the same 1,254 people who were part of a random sample of Americans surveyed up to 11 times throughout the 2008 campaign by the two organizations and Yahoo News. The recent interviews occurred Sept. 17 to Oct. 7. The survey has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.

From Michelle Malkin’s Face Book page:

Is Barney Frank Sending His Boyfriend Out to Heckle Sean Bielat?
by Michelle Malkin on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 8:59am

    **Written by Doug Powers

Sean Bielat has momentum in his quest to unseat Barney Frank, and Frank’s team must be feeling the heat, because they’re resorting to desperate tactics not unlike the foundering golfer who hired a guy to yell “jackass!” during Happy Gilmore’s backswing.

It looks as if Barney’s got his boyfriend, James Ready, heckling Bielat.

    From Fleming and Hayes:

Upon exiting the most recent debate with Barney Frank, located at WGBH studios in Boston, MA, Republican Congressional candidate, Sean Bielat, gets heckled by a Barney Frank “supporter” while talking to the media. While watching this video, we realized that we recognized this “supporter”. We received confirmation from two eyewitnesses that the mysterious cameraman was none other than Barney Frank’s pot-growing boyfriend, James Ready.

As Bielat’s talking to reporters, off camera you can hear a man who never fully puts down the camera to reveal himself say “quit the jokes, dude, you’re not funny at all.”

Imagine the outrage from Camp Barney if Bielat had his wife following Frank around and heckling him during chats with reporters.

This kind of thing makes the Frank campaign look especially classless and desperate — good news if you’d rather have Barney unable to waste billions of taxpayer dollars and instead spend his days arguing over saving a dollar of his own.

    from The Hill:

Dems have raised more than $1 million this cycle from foreign-affiliated PACs

By Michael O’Brien and Hayleigh Colombo – 10/17/10 11:32 AM ET

Democratic leaders in the House and Senate criticizing GOP groups for allegedly funneling foreign money into campaign ads have seen their party raise more than $1 million from political action committees affiliated with foreign companies.

House and Senate Democrats have received approximately $1.02 million this cycle from such PACs, according to an analysis compiled for The Hill by the Center for Responsive Politics. House and Senate GOP leaders have taken almost $510,000 from PACs on the same list.

The PACS are funded entirely by contributions from U.S. employees of subsidiaries of foreign companies. All of the contributions are made public under Federal Elections Commission rules, and the PACs affiliated with the subsidiaries of foreign corporations are governed by the same rules that American firms’ PACs or other PACs would face.

“This is not foreign money per-se, but these PACs are certainly populated by people who work for foreign companies,” said Dave Levinthal, a spokesman for the Center for Responsive Politics.

“Foreign companies and foreign governments can lobby Congress, and that is probably one area where they have a measurable effect on politics,” Levinthal explained. “Foreign-subsidiary political action committees is about as close as you can get.”

Republicans with groups under fire from the White House say the hefty campaign contributions illustrate Democratic hypocrisy.

“Barack Obama criticized the Supreme Court and his adversaries over the bogus charge of foreign money tainting elections – while leaders in his own party had taken more than a million dollars from the foreign cookie jar,” said Jonathan Collegio, a spokesman for American Crossroads, the political group at the center of the controversy.

“The hypocrisy here is just stunning,” he said.

Election Wins Can Stop Lame-Duck Threat
The voters can help block the Democrats’ ploy.

Senate Democrats who think they can use a lame-duck session to force the country into a final, decisive lurch to the left may be in for a big surprise: newly elected senators ready to take their seats and derail major policy changes before the new Congress convenes.

There are now six unelected members of the U.S. Senate; they represent Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, New York, and West Virginia. The rules governing the seating of senators elected to replace appointed senators are left to the states in the 17th amendment. New York’s law specifies the date the new senator takes office as January 3, so Kirsten Gillibrand will still be a senator in a potential lame-duck session, regardless of the outcome of her election bid. The other five states, however, all have laws that indicate the election winners may be seated immediately following their election — in time for the lame-duck session.

So who cares about Dowd, but I have to say- she’s definitely dumb. Socialist-Marxist first, writer/woman/human being last.

Who would be dumb enough to be a Marxist and then believe their own propaganda that they write?

My only curiosity is- Do they actually believe it?

I saw FNS with Chris Wallace and that MO chick was blathering Democrat propaganda talking points the whole time she was on. It’s really pathetic that these people have no critical thinking skills, and can’t think for themselves at all. That’s how Maureen Dowd is too. Just attack dogs of the Leftist losers.

  91. Foxwood says:

    Good morning M2!

  92. m2 says:

    Good morning Fox!

Now, I’ve been thinking this morning…

Here’s how it could be in reality, a theory.

1- WH wants the Dems to drop.
So they can blame Republicans for all the effects of THEIR policy (kind of like how they took over control in 2007, and also orchestrated the mortgage mess in previous years with their financial cronies in Wall Street, but blamed Bush for the spending their crookedness), it’s the opposite. They’ll make it not about the office of President but about Congress.

2- Dems didn’t think they’d be roadkill for the WH agenda, (but they must be really intellectually deficient, because forcing those Tides-written bills through was probably a clue, Dems), but anyway, they will take the fall.

3- between November and January the defeated Dems will steamroll any remaining Marxist legislation they can on orders of Obama and cronies.

4- Rahmbo, and Economic team have jumped ship, not because of the perceived failure of Obamunism, but because they have succeeded. However they know that the citizens (whom they deem Homer Simpson’s) do not want to be enslaved. So getting out 2 years early ensure a healthy amount of distance in terms of the public linking them to their foreign Soros crafted agenda to de-prosper the United States. They haven’t forgone on Obama. They are just playing their bit part out… This ensures less connection and blame, especially with a compliant state press/media. Look what distance (time) has done for Summers and Clinton, and Carter in respect to the Mortgage meltdown of free credit and rewarding people who don’t deserve or can’t pay (i.e. tenants of Liberalism)…

5- By 2012 they’ll be running against the opposition as though Tea party, Independents, and Republicans created the result of what they started. They also believe the average citizen is dumb, so we’ll see how well the propaganda works this round. People were pretty dumb in 2008, lol. That was in your face propaganda. I could look at Obama’s Marxist cousin in Africa and see the exact same campaign slogan. But the media really took the brunt of the propaganda and distributed it. They are now wholly untrusted by most Americans, save the 22% of brain-dead Marxists who don’t think Obama is Authoritarian and Vengeful enough. I love how the “Media” has been unmasked fully in 2 years.

    We shall see, eh?

  93. m2 says:

Ah PS. another point to make, is whatever Legislation Obama can’t steamroll on a lame-duck Congress, is going to be crafted by Executive Order.

I disagree with Bill Krystal. And other Republican pundits in the media.

Obama is not going to “listen”. We have the election of Scott Brown to precursor that. Obama is the one that said “We are the ones we have been waiting for”…

Really, who in their right minds would vote for such an egotistical prick. The man doesn’t even put his hand on his heart for the pledge to the country he is now President of.

PEOPLE, you lost your minds in 2008. I will never forget it.
That stuff was out there for all to see.
    Makes me sick.

Naturally though, I have to write off at least 35% of his win due to vote fraud.

  94. VotingFemale says:

    Good Morning, M2!

My new blogpost still in process goes towards shedding some light on the significance of the Maureen Dowd hit piece on Conservative Women.

It is not that Dowd is especially significant… she isn’t. It isn’t that Megan McCain is especially significant… she isn’t.

It is about a Left Wing combined effort to intimidate and personally attack “Conservative Women” to shut us the hell up. And like attacks on the Tea Party itself… it elevates the narrative to a national level.

We are not going to back down and we are not going to shut up… and the Left had darn well learn a lesson and right quick… we will be all over them like white on rice over these attacks on us as a political force. And, it has already started…

    m2 says

So who cares about Dowd, but I have to say- she’s definitely dumb. Socialist-Marxist first, writer/woman/human being last.

Who would be dumb enough to be a Marxist and then believe their own propaganda that they write?

  95. m2 says:

If you need a politician to make you feel good about yourself, you are too inept to vote. Turn in your registration card, and go to a therapy session. Although, I have a feeling that’s the epitome of liberalism. Self-absorbedness… thus, they need to be catered to ego-wise. Everything is about them. “I’m” going to “change” the “world”…

    Uh huh.

    Hope and Change.
Well maybe they’ll like Marxism and living with less lights, food, freedom of choice, or being told whether they’re allowed to continue living when they have a resolvable medical condition.

In Greece they decided it’s cheaper to amputate legs rather than pass out corrective stockings for Diabetes patients.

“We are the ones we have been waiting for.”

    Yup.
All that hatred for the “top income earners”… well watch out Liberals. You are considered the most wealthy in terms of the world. It’s time to put your money where your mouth is.

It’s time to redistribute your wealth & health. There’s too many people on this Earth. And you have too much Liberals, middle-class “feel good” Liberals. “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”

  96. m2 says:

    Good morning VF!

VF said: “It is about a Left Wing combined effort to intimidate and personally attack “Conservative Women” to shut us the hell up. And like attacks on the Tea Party itself… it elevates the narrative to a national level.”

_____ VF, as you well know, the current Republicans (mostly of the male gender) are not ballsy enough to call out exactly what the Dems do. Some are just stuck in the Beltway etiquette, where Dems speak in propaganda, and Repubs speak as though they actually should “respect” those Marxist talking points.

Women like Michelle Bauchman are real and to the point.

That’s why Dowd has been ordered by her Marxist Over-Lords to fashion a propagandic Alinsky hit-piece on the women running for office. Because they are effective and not afraid to say what is apparent to all of us.

  97. Foxwood says:

Well thought out, M2. I’m hoping the Republicans are smart enough to think outside of the box. You know the Dems have been.

Of course if they do, Dems will excoriate them on Constitutionality or whatever they can throw at them.

  98. m2 says:

Any by the way, these plays in their playbook are becoming really really obvious. The hit on the Chamber, categorizing all conservative candidates as “extremists”… the problem is, when you have an echo chamber from the media, and all your little drones in Congress saying the same thing in the exact same way…

You kind of lose credibility. It’s pathetic.

Again, I lament the loss of individual intellect with regard to this part of our population.

  99. m2 says:

Fox the Republicans in D.C. need to grow a pair and stop pretending the Emperor has clothes on. I suppose they do it out of politeness (i.e. listen to the blathering of liberals around them), but they (republicans currently there) won’t be taken seriously until they start amping up on what is reality.

Jim DeMint is a fine example of who they should aspire to be.
Otherwise, they’re just useless wastes of space that need to move along to make way for some REAL Representation.

    Amen sister!

As far as I’m concerned, if a Republican is there to be polite, s/he is not doing their job. They’re a RINO and need to be out of office. They need to be in Obutthole and companies faces and telling the reality of the situation. I think some of them want to ignore the 800 lb purple goril-l-l-l-l-l-la.

Have the Marxists—ooops Democrats, been polite? Respected our POV?

Uh, not since public opinion was all in favor of supporting Republican President (2001) did Carville say “Stop stop! We’ve got to stop this propaganda interview to destroy Bush!” and pivot to “support Bush” – but Hell, that’s all political expediency.

That’s the problem. Democrats are all about politics, power and money, and vacuous on everything of substance. Has been that way since the communist-loving boomers started entering positions of power.

That’s why their message has dwindled into Communist Propaganda and running as Conservatives at election time.

Hmmmm… interesting that you have to be an economic Conservative to win elections in our nation. Isn’t that what King Obama ran on? Jobs and middle-class (the same middle-class he’s trying to kill off because it’s too prosperous in relation to the world).

The Republicans have been too diplomatic.
Time to talk about the reality this country faces. Yes that means entitlement reform.

And hopefully rolling back the nation-killing BS that Obama passed this year and last.

Afterall folks, how can Democrats be “for” the environment when they give billions to Mexico and Brazil for deep sea oil drilling.

At least with Republicans, you know what they stand for.

Well, I’ll bbl to check out VF’s new blog article!

Let’s not forget about power reform. I’m thinking term limits in Congress.
