mmmm…some good stuff to blog about this morning… one of the GOP bigwigs, Republican Governor of Mississippi, Chairman of the Republican Governors Association (RGA) and former Chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC) Haley Barbour wrote a piece in the Wall Street Journal telling the GOP Establishment folks, in so many words, to STHU and show respect for the Tea Party voters and our endorsed candidates; particularly our candidates who won the primary races. That, in essence, the Tea Party grassroots movement doesn’t need the GOP, rather the GOP needs the Tea Party grassroots movement.
Governor Barbour points out that the Tea Party grassroots movement chose not to split the vote by running as a Political Party, rather to work within the Republican Party. That is very true. And, Sarah Palin is a prime example of a Republican working within the Republican Party who is a functioning member of the Tea Party Movement.
The message sent by Governor Barbour to the GOP establishment is they will not win not win a battle of wills over their Favorite Son RINOs with the Tea Party grassroots coalition.
Clearly, we who are part of the Tea Party coalition have demonstrated our strength and resolve in that matter by defeating GOP Favorite Son RINOs in this mid-term election cycle and we will not be told to shut up and sit down; not by the GOP Establishment and not by the Socialist Establishment.
The weight-throwing attitudes and behaviors of GOP Establishment Bigwigs (and their RINO-backing pundits and bloggers) leading up to and after RINO Mike Castle’s defeat by a Tea Party backed candidate, crystallized the war of wills between the RINO backing GOP Establishment and We The Tea Party People.
We have had enough of pompous political asshats trying to tell us what we can and can not do and we will cancel them like a postage stamp as they come up for re-election and by withholding contributions to GOP Establishment coffers.
In my book, it is already too late for Karl Rove and Charles Krauthammer is on thin ice. Rove made his bed and there he will stay as a GOP Establishment Whipping Boy of the Tea Party Voters.
These blowhards are now getting a serious lesson in 2010 reality: The Giant No Longer Sleeps and we won’t take crap from anyone on the left or right. We have the activist, financial, and voting clout to back that up.
Governor Barbour’s article:
excerpts…
In the course of our Republican primaries, tea party candidates prevailed on several occasions, sometimes defeating the so-called establishment candidate, as in Delaware. Some losing candidates and their supporters want to cry foul, and they are being egged on by a left wing eager to give its agenda a second chance by splitting the vote of those opposed to the Obama agenda. Without dividing the antistatist coalition, the left can’t win in November.
[…]
I urge Republicans not to help the left wing split our vote.
Governor Barbour is talking to the GOP Establishment and urging them to stand down in their attacks on winning primary Tea Party backed candidates, like Christine O’Donnell, cease their pontificating imperious attitudes towards the most powerful grassroots coalition in our lifetimes, the Tea Party, and to start show due respect to us. We won’t take it from Obama & Co and we won’t take it from them.
I advise the GOP Establishment to pay close attention to what Governor Barbour is telling them (and their pundit backers like Charles Krauthammer and bloggers like American Thinker) to take what he is saying seriously and back the hell off if they know what is good for them. Why? because we are more of a force to be reckoned with than they are.

Islam, a religion of peace? It’s not a religion at all. What do I need to “understand” about barbarians?
Pakistan: Muslims burn Christian man as policeman rapes his wife
by Ahmar Mustikhan | March 23, 2010 at 12:18 pm
Washington, D.C. (March 23, 2010)– Travesty of justice does not fit the description of the events. This is simple barbarism.
International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that a Christian man, Arshed Masih, died yesterday after Muslims burned him alive for refusing to recant his faith. Additionally, a Muslim policeman raped Masih’s wife.

Oh Tay… got a new topic to blogpost about… it’s off to the wordpress editor for Moi 😀
…any suggestions for a blog theme song would be fun to see! 😉
“I heard other blogs use this one…”
Too damn funny!!!!!
and this one:
Again FV you have hit the target
The progressives would like nothing better than for the conservative bloggs to get into backbiting and personal nit picking.
Progressives are the target it is important that we use the time given to focus on defining them, and exposing their lies.
Words in this war are like bullets, we need to keep them trained on those that threaten and have in fact brought this country down.
If you can’t or are unwilling to paddle together, you diminish the work of those that do. You become more a weight than a wing.
To win over the dark powers that infest our leadership, we need more wing and less weight.
It has log been said, that truth is a light to your path.
We need to shed light on the darkness rather than just to scream at it.
We were the sleeping giant we have awakened, now let us resolve to put right what has been taken from us.
As fox posted, they want to redistribute the wealth, we need to redistribute the power. Simply said but very true.
As Isoroku Yamamoto once said
“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve”
The Pearl Harbor for the Progressives is coming.
November 2 will be the day that will live in infamy
Orca, your comment is right on the mark… Our focus needs to be on the Progressives. It’s time to run them out of town. It’s time for the Progressives Waterloo Sunset.
“I don’t have time to spare on dealing with personal games of flame wars. It is penny-ante stuff. And if it were up to me, Fox would ignore this [the ‘over there’] blog and ignore [starts with an ‘L’], but he is his own man and rightfully so.”
Would that be the Volatile Asshole blog and Lilith?
