When the Democrat news is bad, then troll attack conservatives like Christine O’Donnell… perhaps the koolaid viewers won’t find out what is going on with the DEM’s bread and butter union worker voting block.
According to NYT Steven Greenhouse all is not well in the union ranks of traditional DEM Party “in their pocket” voting block…
political analysts, and union leaders themselves, say that their efforts may not be enough because union members, like other important parts of the Democratic base, are not feeling particularly enthusiastic about the party — a reality that, in turn, further dampens the Democrats’ chances of holding onto their Congressional majorities.
Gee… how is that possible?
“They’ve been disappointed that the House and Senate haven’t done more, especially to create jobs.” [according to union bosses]
So… are any of the union rank and file switching their support to conservatives or moderate DEMs?
It is a measure of the dread among Democrats and their labor allies that several unions are no longer threatening to withhold endorsements from some conservative or moderate Democrats, like Representative Zack Space of Ohio, because they had bucked labor on health care legislation or other issues. Now, unions are generally backing those Democrats, feeling labor cannot afford such a strategy when the Democrats’ prospects seem so troubled.
What are distraught Marxist union bosses’ feelings about that?
Charlie Cook, a nonpartisan political handicapper — “The question is, how effective can labor be when so many of their people are unemployed or underemployed and just not happy campers?” he said. “How effective will they be in getting people to do the hard work — to do the phone banks, the get-out-the-vote, all the heavy lifting?”
There is always that trusty Race Card to fall back on which the Socialists are so expert at throwing at whitey, right? (emphasis mine)
Two years ago, the big political problem many unions faced was persuading white union members to vote for Mr. Obama despite his race. This year the problem will be persuading union members to vote Democratic despite the bleak economy.
Yeah… “in spite his race.” I suppose BWW Breathing While White automatically makes one a racist, right Socialists? You guys try throwing that race card at union workers and see how far it gets ya. lol
