Everything we see and hear these days is frightening, VF. We are seeing some of the most unbelievable events happening right before our eyes. Never in my wildest dreams did I think America would be in such Peril from WITHIN!

VotingFemale replies

These hate-steeped Marxist revolutionaries and their sheep, with Obama presently at their helm, have been present and active in the US for many many decades. They are nothing new. However… their tactics are more far powerful than ever before.

I blame Bush for Obama’s success taking control of the country, for without his blundering and mistakes such as caving to the Progressives on key issues and irritating the voters on other issues such as social ones, Obama’s Propaganda would have never gotten enough of a foot hold to gain him the nomination for president.

Sometimes a screw up, who is on your side, is the worst problem of all…

We needed a great leader, and Bush wasn’t it.

I was fearful of that from the beginning of Bush’ first campaign for president… and thought to myself, “who is this dork?”… very sorry to have to say.

We needed a Reagan and got a mediocre dumbass… now we live with the consequences.

Whomever captures the GOP nomination for president in 2012 had well better have their act together and able to act decisively to reverse the Marxist scumbaggery or we are beyond help. If the person we actually need gains nomination and wins the election, they will be the most Marxist-despised person on the planet… and that is exactly who we need.

If the DEM Marxists Hate Them, it is a good sign

Currently, in my observations, only NJ Governor Chris Christie and Gov Sarah Palin have a track record and sheer guts to get the job done in the face of internal political enemies of our country. Other GOP possibilities are still living in the past and give homage to the Leftists and their tactical campaign of hatred and their agenda.

John McCain has seen the handwriting on the wall… no more mister bi-partisan maverick; that was for another time and place… a time and place when the other side of the aisle appeared to want to preserve the America we know and love. We now know better… they want to bury it.

Found 31 mercury dimes and payed $10 for them.

11 dimes = an ounce of silver

but I’ve looked at the date and the antique value per dime is $1 to $3.

Also found alot of good looking Readers Digest books. I don’t collect them, but I found them worth $2 to $3 each and picked them up at 10 cents each.

    Yippie!

  3. VotingFemale says:

gold and silver coinage is typically of higher value and holds its value better in a variable market than raw gold or silver bullion.

We buy gold British sovereigns from time to time as a hedge against the dollar… much safer than gold bullion.

  4. VotingFemale says:

you got a steal for those 31 dimes, Fox!

I am not into collectables but it sounds like you are finding good valuable finds, dear!

  5. Foxwood says:

The silver’s for me, but the books are to get resold.

I’m tired of driving around the countryside for someone else. I still have to get my storefront made and start reselling on ebay and amazon, tho.

  6. Foxwood says:

I like books, but I’m learning about glass, pottery, and dishes quickly.

Hubs has a collection of dragon figurines he assembled and did a totally amazing job of painting in his youth. A level of minute detail of colors which is beyond my understanding that he had that much skill and attention to detail to actually do.

Those same dragon kits today sell for $100 on eBay he tells me …unpainted.

He is the collector in the family… not me.

Though… I decorate with many antiques as objects d’art with an eye for both beauty and intrinsic appreciating value.

I have an antique Buddha statue I obtained from a dealer in Shanghai which is well over 100 years old. Got it for a song… and it is quite beautiful.

  8. Foxwood says:

Also found 6 clear Fostoria glasses at 25 cents apiece. Just looked up the price (2008 book), $4 to $8 apiece. Up to $8 if you have a set of 8.

I really need to set up the storefront.

old bottles are cool! I went digging along the Rappahannock river on a colonial estate with several girlfriends and dug up old bottles that were dumped there… really old bottles to bottles from the early 20th century. That was a lot of fun but almost fell down a long steep embankment into the river. Scared hell out of me…

  11. VotingFemale says:

of course… still is to an extent. His view and my view of the uses of a computer are widely different. lol men will be boys hahahaha

My idea of a good time is kicking the living dog-sh1t out of Obama and the Marxists with writing my blog.

  12. Foxwood says:

You need to check the price on those bottles. I’ve been researching the bottle making process and the process will determine the price.

I found a really cool Clorox (sp?) bottle 2 weeks ago. Haven’t priced it yet tho.

  13. Foxwood says:

I thought maybe he did some D&D RPGing. I still have my books. About $50 each, one is $100.

    His and Her Diaries

    HER DIARY:

    Dear Diary:
Tonight, I thought my boyfriend was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, So I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it. Conversation wasn’t flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but he didn’t say much. I asked him what was wrong. He said, ‘Nothing.’ I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn’t upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it.

On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can’t explain his behavior. I don’t know why he didn’t say, ‘I love you, too.’ When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent.

Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. To my surprise, he responded to my caress, and we made love. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep – I cried. I don’t know what to do. I’m almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster…

    HIS DIARY:

My boat wouldn’t start today, but at least I got laid.

Palin Says Brewer Has Something Obama Lacks: ‘Cojones’

    Published August 01, 2010

    | FoxNews.com
    *******************************************

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Sunday praised Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer for defending her state’s immigration law in court against the Justice Department’s lawsuit, saying she has the “cojones” that President Obama is lacking on border security.

Though the Obama administration this month will begin deploying 1,200 more National Guard troops to the southwest border, Palin said on “Fox News Sunday” that Brewer is tackling border security and putting her faith in legal immigration where Obama is not.

“Jan Brewer has the cojones that our president does not have,” she said. “If our own president will not enforce our federal law, more power to Jan Brewer.”

A U.S. District Court judge on Wednesday blocked key provisions of the immigration law from going into effect while the litigation proceeds. The Justice Department is trying to strike down the entire law, arguing that Arizona is improperly trying to seize enforcement authority from the federal government.

The administration denies claims that it is weak on border security, pointing to the National Guard deployment, as well as a buildup in Border Patrol, as evidence. Deportations of illegal immigrants are also up under Obama.

But with Arizona in particular seeing large swaths of public land teeming with drug cartel and illegal immigrant activity, Brewer and her colleagues claim their state’s law was necessary. The law makes illegal immigration a state crime.

Palin called the judge’s ruling “unfortunate” but hopefully “temporary.”

“There are many, many more steps to take,” she said, adding that the case could come before the Supreme Court.
