Pelosi does NOT have the votes to pass ObamaCare, no matter what ANY Progressive says

Socialist-Progressives are
BLUFFING & making stuff up.

Robert Gibbs:  “This Is the Week” ObamaCare Gets Passed

It is NOT inevitable that ObamaCare will pass, though the Progressives-Socialists are fond of making stuff up to suit their agenda.

WH Press Secretary Gibbs says ObamaCare will pass ‘This Week.’
That is to say, by midnight, Saturday, March 20, 2010.

IT IS NOT TRUE

The Reconciliation bill has yet to be posted online… and that has a minimum timeout of three days. Also the CBO has not scored the Reconciliation bill which has not been released for review. The CBO Score would have to be released today and the bill put on-line today so that voting could be done on Saturday.

There are not enough votes to pass it regardless.

The likely scenario… Congress will adjourn for their Easter/Passover Break without a vote and the Tea Party Movement will start hammering House Members back home for the entire two-week break. This will give House Democrats a taste of reality. Their political necks are on the line and the Majority of Voters ARE NOT in favor of passage of ObamaCare despite what Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the other Congressional Progressives-Socialists spew on the airwaves, on the internet, and in print.

Progressive-Socialist Bull Crap is what it is… Bull Crap.

Lets see what Rep Paul Ryan had to say last evening (March 16,2010) about the shortage of DEM Votes to pass ObamaCare…

Rattle the Socialist Cages in Washington!

  1. Foxwood says:

“Communism was all but snuffed out in this country. McCarthy saw to that.”

Naw, it just went underground. It’ never left. What about the CPUSA? Look at the website. How long has it been in existence? It tells you.

  2. Foxwood says:

    Got to go. BBS.

  3. VotingFemale says:

    see you later, Foxwood.

  4. rosehips says:

name one person in CPUSA that I would even recognize?

  5. rosehips says:

just because CPUSA likes Obama doesn’t mean they have any influence on him.

  6. rosehips says:

I hope the health bill fails.

VF, did you see the vid of Michelle Bachmann that foxy posted yesterday? It’s worth watching.

  7. Foxwood says:

WHA! I got put on hold.

Yes, the CPUSA like Obutthole, but he still hires Commies, Maoists, Marxists, and Socialists. Why?

  8. VotingFemale says:

no one can prove that Obama is a Communist or that would have happened by now.

Marxists in his administration? yes… self-admitted.

I am not concerned with officially labeling him as a communist… Socialist and Progressive is good enough…

    rosehips says
just because CPUSA likes Obama doesn’t mean they have any influence on him.

  9. VotingFemale says:

can you cross-post that vid here??

    I hope it fails, too.

we need reform… just not this monstrosity of a government take over.

    rosehips says

I hope the health bill fails.

  10. Foxwood says:

The FBI notified Glenn Beck they got a call that he would be shot on stage.

  11. Foxwood says:

He had to wear a vest on stage.

  12. VotingFemale says:

was that recent? where did you see that?

Glenn has been getting death threats for a year and has heavy security and packs a concealed weapon.

    Foxwood says
The FBI notified Glenn Beck they got a call that he would be shot on stage.

  13. rosehips says:

well Van Jones is probably no more a communist than I. Sure he may have fancied himself that when he was in jail just like I fancied myself a revolutionary when I was involved in my twenties with a group that advocated for the oppressed peeps in Guatemala. The fact is that I am not a communist now and really never was one. I doubt Van Jones is either. that is my opinion. I welcome you to prove me wrong.

  14. VotingFemale says:

If Beck is assassinated… it will signal an open season to many on the right against folks on the left…

    He would be a martyr…

he has never recanted his declaration that he is a communist. in this country it is about perception, as you know.

That he is perceived as what he has said he is is enough.

  19. rosehips says:

VF, are you sure he never recanted?

The East Bay Express for November 2, 2005, reported:

“I met all these young radical people of color – I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, ‘This is what I need to be a part of… I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary…I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th..By August, I was a communist.”

  20. VotingFemale says:

I had to snag the Paul Ryan vid from Greta website and upload it to youtube… what a pain.

Did not see one copy of it anywhere that was embeddable.

  21. VotingFemale says:

HE is labeled as a communist now and it sticks… and his previous actions supports that. his goose is cooked in all but Liberal Land now.

  22. Foxwood says:

He never recanted. Dunn admitted she’s a maoist. Mark Lloyd admits he’s a socialist.

That was on the 15th of this month, VF.

    Morning DC!

  23. Foxwood says:

There are others, I’m not sloughing this off. Really, investigate. You would be surprised.

  24. Foxwood says:

Who is the guy “nudging” us into socialism, VF?

  25. rosehips says:

okay, I know when to quit. Is it a fact that Dunn admitted she’s a Maoist? Because she admires him or does she espouse all his teachings? I doubt she really admitted to being a Maoist. But I welcome you to prove me wrong.

  26. VotingFemale says:

    That quote has misleading punctuation…

    This one doesn’t…

Jones had planned to move to Washington, DC, and had already landed a job and an apartment there. But in jail, he said, “I met all these young radical people of color — I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, ‘This is what I need to be a part of.'” Although he already had a plane ticket, he decided to stay in San Francisco. “I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary.” In the months that followed, he let go of any lingering thoughts that he might fit in with the status quo. “I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th,” he said. “By August, I was a communist.”

    Cass Sunstein, the “Nudger”

  29. rosehips says:

no I will not investigate what I do not think is a serious threat. I welcome you proving your statements, but I will not spend time trying to disprove them. That would be futile and take much too much time.

You should start a file so you can show proof of your claims. I am not disputing that there are people in the admin that consider themselves socialists, but I don’t think there are many.
Definitely very few, if any, who call themselves communists today.
Isn’t Bernie Sanders a Socialist? There are some in Congress as well. But I think he may be the only one who claims to be. not really sure.

  30. VotingFemale says:

I don’t know if Dunn is, in fact a communist. That most everyone on the Right believes she is is enough to cook her goose. Her saying Mao was one of her two favorite political philosophers was enough to do it.

    rosehips says

okay, I know when to quit. Is it a fact that Dunn admitted she’s a Maoist? Because she admires him or does she espouse all his teachings? I doubt she really admitted to being a Maoist. But I welcome you to prove me wrong.

  31. VotingFemale says:

Van Jones and Dunn both pass the Duck Test… and that is how it is. right or wrong.

  32. rosehips says:

believe me, if we went into everyone’s backgrounds and found quotes they said in their youth, we’d never have anyone we can hold up as an example of purity of thought and action.

What I believed in my youth has been tempered with the wisdom of my more mature middle years. My early influences have been tempered by a richer diversity of thought in more recent years.

  33. VotingFemale says:

The Majority of American Voters reject radicalism… on both the left and right.

The radicals don’t get it… they apparently see the world through their own prism.

  34. Foxwood says:

Look at his life, look at who he hung out with, look at who he hires. He has no problem hiring self admitted Communists, Socialists, etc. Look at what he says (spread the wealth) and what he does, and how he goes about doing it. Look at the little stuff, like Mao balls on the tree. This is by no means the complete list.

You can’t prove it, but the circumstantial evidence is there.

  35. rosehips says:

VF, yes I believe they will always be ducks to the right. you are correct.

  36. rosehips says:

if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, and waddles like a duck, it may not be a duck, but it may as well be.

    😉

  37. VotingFemale says:

you are apparently identifying with Van Jones and Anita Dunn.

It’s not about you, Rose… never has been.

It is about public political figures and their life history.

  38. rosehips says:

not really identifying with them. just comparing what I know.

Dennis Kucinich at his press conference today announced he will vote “Yes” on health care legislation he detests and has criticized regularly for months.

Kucinich is a pathetic shadow of his former self, a man whose will to fight has been beaten out of him by the Democratic leadership, unions and netroots fundraisers.

A parable of how what is good for Obama has supplanted what is good for the country in the minds of Democrats.

  48. VotingFemale says:

I dont know other than him being quoted that he was in prison.

the only arrest I actually know of is for protesting illegally during rodney king trials and was released.

if that is the “prison” he is referring to, his statement about being in prison is a butt stupid statement that is now coming back to haunt him.

it confirms that the Socialists are hell bent on a total Government takeover of health care in this country… and that is not going to go well for the Socialists who only have temporary power.

the ax will swing down on them in a mighty way… mark my words.

we do not have the money to pay for it all and government run anything beyond the military is a disaster.

China defends detention of lead poisoning victims who sought medical

More than 50 villagers suffering from lead poisoning were detained after the bus taking them for health checks was stopped by police

Chinese authorities have defended the six-month detention of lead poisoning victims who were seeking medical care, saying the punishment was necessary for “public education”.

Police in Jiahe, Hunan province, blocked a bus carrying 53 villagers who were on their way to get health checks last September, according to Chinese media.

Mistakenly believing the villagers were planning to protest, the police have detained two of them for the six months since on the charge of “disrupting traffic”. Though it has since been proved that they and their children were contaminated by illegal emissions of heavy metals from a smelting factory, the local government was unapologetic.

I’m not entirely sure that the solar flares are connected to this but I also believe we are due for solar storms that could devastate portions of the planet-wiping out satellites and electronics. I am seriously thinking about going to a third world country that won’t be as impacted by the loss of satellite transmissions. It will have a bigger impact on locations that are hit that rely heavily on electronics.

I think a person is really truly in love with someone when they don’t want to change anything. That means they love them taking the good along with the bad or not so good.

I believe this is the cause of the high rate of divorce in America. Were too fickle.

  85. rosehips says:

yes sami we are fickle. I have decided that I will not lower my standard just because I am lonely. I am not saying I won’t go out with a guy who doesn’t meet up to my standard. I am just not gonna marry the guy. I will probably never marry again. Why should I?

Book store defends ‘control a woman’ toy

    By Kathy Lord

    Updated March 16, 2010 12:02:00
The toy remote has buttons that say remove clothes and clean.

Katie Robertson is outraged by the toy remote and has complained to the store. (ABC Online: Kathy Lord)

A Melbourne woman is outraged after discovering a Borders book store was selling a ‘control a woman’ remote.

The toy product, similar to a TV remote control, is being sold as a novelty gift for $14.99.

Katie Robertson saw the remote in a Borders book store last week, after attending a lunch celebrating International Women’s Day.

“There are certain buttons on there. For example, the male may decide that he wants beer, sex or food. He may press a button in which he requires the woman to remove her clothes, cook, clean, leave, [or] say yes,” she told ABC Radio’s Jon Faine.

“There’s also a button in which you can increase her breast size.”

Ms Robertson says she has no doubt it was intended to be a joke, but that argument does not wash with her.

“I think it’s actually about respect and what’s appropriate to sell,” she said.

“I’m troubled by this item, mainly because it encourages a stereotype of women as submissive, who are to be controlled.”

Lauren Thompson of Borders says the product is intended as a joke and says they are also selling a ‘control a man’ remote, which has sold out.

“All I can say in its defence is that it is base level humour,” she said.

“But it’s meant to be a bit funny, a bit of a gimmick, something you might buy for your best mate before a stag night or a hens night.”

Ms Robertson has complained in writing to the store, but Ms Thompson says they will not take it off the shelves on the basis of one complaint.

“We’ve probably got a number of products, books and literature which could fall into that category… so we need to be quite careful,” Ms Thompson said.

  111. m2 says:

Hey everybody, I’ve been out ALL day.

Dear Rose, why don’t you download and read this publication by Van Jones (if it’s still there- i’ll check after I post), and report back to us on the sliding scale of Communism Jones is on… Just a harmless Marxist? The end game?

    http://apfr.org/STORMSummation.pdf

  112. m2 says:

I like the first two lines under Internation Context on page 5…

Aawwww the big bad soviet union FELL! Gasp! And no!!! China was heading toward capitalism, instead of pure Communism.

Hahaha. What a bunch of freedom hating turds.

  113. m2 says:

Ok, I’ve been having a great time reading Can Jones STORM movement manual. Like on pg. 13 he describes how the anarchists in the group back stabbed the Communists, so the group was just left with suspicious Communists who turned to Mao for deep introspection. That’s when (by page 14) they decided they must use Revolutionary Marxist-Leninist political action to “change” the U.S.

Yep. Oh Van Jones…. Later I believe he talks about hijacking the Green Movement to accomplish his quote “Marxist-Leninist Revolution”…

And this is who the creme of the crop liberals on Capital Hill consider a “great man”….

  115. rosehips says:

okay M2, maybe Van Jones was a bit over the top with his zealotry. haha I guess he is much more a communist than I. by quite a margin, I’ll add.

I realized right after I said what I said about him that I was wrong. Should have admitted it then. my bad.

thanks for calling me out girl!

  116. rosehips says:

but I do want to point out that many young leftists have romantic ideas about being revolutionaries and radicals. Some take it farther than others. Some really believe their rhetoric and others mimic what they hear. I think most figure out eventually that it’s not so romantic and not fun. They grow up, graduate, get jobs, start families.

Maybe Van Jones never grew up. Maybe he still believes the diatribes of his youth. I really don’t know. I just don’t concern myself with what someone did or thought in college or in their 20’s. Once you become a parent, perspectives change and ideology changes too, often.

  117. m2 says:

The dude is an idiot. He named his son after a communist. The whole reason they talk about “third world communism” is because the “third world” is associated with “people of color”, and it was a little embarrassing for them to look up to te white soviets, though they did. They had a quota that more women of color had to be in their organization than men. I think they’re racist dumbasses.

The other part of their theory was “Marxist feminism” which reminds me of Obama’s Dreams book. So they were 2 parts: “third world” (appearance specific) Communism, and Marxist Feminism.

A bunch of just straight up dumb Mao-lovin, Lenin quoting Communists.

That’s who Anthony (Van) Jones is.

And it’s not far perhaps not at all from who I am sure Barack Obama is.

  118. m2 says:

    I’m watching Beck now. 😀

notice none of the media besides Beck highlighted Jones’ Communist past when he had to “skip out” as green jobs czar at midnight on a Sunday.

They said he left because he called Republicans assholes, and was a 9/11 “truther”…

Hmmm. How about he was a treasonist lying communist riding the back of thr red “green” movement to overthrow the government?

  119. m2 says:

U should be watching Beck rt. now, rose!!!

    LOL !!!

  120. Foxwood says:

Beck name off all that I named today and more. Including Obuttholes mother and father as Marxists, and his grand parents.

  121. m2 says:

Also, girl- STORM disbanded in 2002, what is he? In his forties now? And then he went in search of a weasley way to break into the system & destroy the freely governed in the U.S. ie. Green Movement which I’ve seen video of him describing as his way to institute “Marxism”, communism….

    Rose said:

    Didn’t change Obuttholes parents.

  123. m2 says:

And Frank!!! The communist that the FBI has a huge file on… Oh thank you media of 2008. Communist-loving assholes!

  124. Foxwood says:

I would think Communists have children, otherwise they would be extinct.

  125. m2 says:

So Fox, Obama (*cough* Ayers?) writes about his mentor and dear family friend “Frank” Marshall Davis in “Dreams”…

And Beck said his grandparents went to the little red church. Which was Communist. So Barry’s dad left him to study Marxism in NY, his mom left to do the same later…. So let’s not confuse this Marx stuff okay. The parents were Maaaarrxxxists. The grandparents were Commmmunists. Dear Frank was on FBI watch.

No, Obama- he’s a mere socialist. Hahahahaha. Yeah right.

He’s not even the young rebelling Leftist, pushing back against mom and pop. He’s a born and bred Soviet style communist. I honestly don’t see a difference in a socialist, marx, comm…. The old liberals are now blue blood republicans and neo cons. The new liberals (neo-libs) are democrats which are socialists and worse… Like Obama and his appointees.

  126. Foxwood says:

There are just too many Communist ties.

  127. m2 says:

Ppl don’t want to believe he’s a full blown ‘marxist-leninist’ yet because his signature legislation hasn’t been enacted.

They’ll know it then, when they feel it.

    That’s what I suspect.

  128. Foxwood says:

I hope we don’t get that far, M2. We’ll never get rid of it if it’s enacted.

  129. m2 says:

I hate to say it, but I knew what he was long before he won….

And I mean, even VF would only dare to call him a socialist until this summer when more appointees became unearthed…

I fear, that this legislation, piecemeal now- doesn’t look that theatening to your average socialist appraising liberal, but in the future- well… I dunno. I just don’t know. 😐

    Exactly….

I hope we don’t get that far, M2. We’ll never get rid of it if it’s enacted.

  152. Foxwood says:

Obutthole is trying to stick to his talking points. Brett’s pushing him out of the comfort zone.

  153. Foxwood says:

  157. m2 says:

    Now he’s calmed….
Yeah Fox. This was really a gamble for Obama…

He’s hoping to control the interview and push talking points.

I don’t think he’ll ever be on FNC again!

  158. Foxwood says:

    Work on jobs, Mr Obutthole!

  159. Foxwood says:

Calling out his Progressive buddy Teddy Roosevelt.

    That was it?

  160. Foxwood says:

    FNC will be demonized again.

  161. m2 says:

He has to pass this specifically to SAVE his ass, and NOTHING else. It’s so bad the Democrats don’t even want to be recorded voting for it. But it’s all Obama has got.

It’s why he was funded into office by SEIU and Soros.

  162. Foxwood says:

He’ll claim they left his best stuff on the cutting room floor.

  163. Foxwood says:

  166. Foxwood says:

I like Krouthammer. Ew, Brit’s on I like Brit also.

  167. m2 says:

Ok so Kucinich’s wife gets an invite to work with Michelle Obama, and he gets a ride on Air Force 1, where Obama gives him a lesson on Alinsky political hardball.

“Look Dennis, you may not like the negatives,… but we will get single payer. We just have to do it through deception and underhandedness. Come on man, Saul 101″…

And that’s what happened. I am certain! LOL !

  168. Foxwood says:

It could have been the open cargo door?

  169. m2 says:

Yeah there’s probably some Kos sponsored site with a take down on Baier like they did to Beck when he revealed the true Van Jones…

  170. Foxwood says:

No one is ever on the blog when Beck or Brett is on…

  171. m2 says:

funny thing happened to me today. I was walking on main street under threatening skies when I saw a behemoth Yukon pull up to the curb ahead of me. I recognized the heavy set guy and the pole-bean framed tow-head who got out of the car. They were from the community I moved from north of here. The kid was in my youngest son’s class that graduated high school last year. We moved when Jonah was in 8th grade, so I hadn’t seen this kid, Markie, since then. I wanted to catch up to them and comment on how much Markie had grown since I’d last seen him. But before I could catch up, they ducked into the local Army Recruiting Office. Just when Mark Sr. got through the door, I was passing by. He looked back at me. Using sign language, I waved and pointed, asking if Markie was enlisting. He nodded vigorously and smiled. I gave him the “thumbs up”. It was instinctual. What else could I say? How could I tell them not to go through with it? Who would I be if I told them my truthful opinion? Will what he does in the military make a better life for anyone?

just some thoughts on this St. Paddy’s Day. I actually forgot to put on green, but it was cold enough for me to put on my lime green beanie. Does that qualify as being in the spirit?

If this healthcare plan goes through (I know you against it), their plans to keep costs low are prevention. It sounds good. What the will do is tell you what you can eat, when you can eat it, and when to exercise. We will be living in an Orwellian world.

M2, I checked out the story on Walgreens. You have it incorrect I think. Walgreens here in Wash State has stopped accepting medicaid, which is welfare. I think they still take medicare, but I’m not sure. I will have to check on that.

They claim they are not breaking even. But they also are qualifying that by saying that their brand name med sales to medicaid are losing money. So? Stop selling brand names to welfare recips! Is that so complicated?

We have no Walgreens here but I will boycott them when I go to Spokane. I may write to tell them why. I understand economics. I don’t expect them to lose money to help America’s poor. But throwing out the baby with the bathwater tells me that they don’t care about the baby. okay, I won’t care about them. We even.

121 Walgreens Stores to Stop Taking New Medicaid Patients
    Thursday, March 18, 2010

Print ShareThisMore than a hundred Walgreens drugstores will stop accepting new Medicaid patients next month because the company claims it is losing money, the Seattle Times reported Thursday.

Citing “continued reduction in reimbursement” payments, Walgreens said it made the decision to stop taking new Medicaid patients at 121 stores in Washington state. The drugstore chain claims the state’s Medicaid program reimburses it at less than the break-even point for 95 percent of brand-name medications given to Medicaid patients, according to the newspaper.

The policy change will reportedly go into effect April 16.

In February, Bartell Drugs made a similar move, opting to stop accepting new Medicaid patients at 57 of its stores in Washington state.

  228. rosehips says:

Dang. VF what happened to you?

m2, I am going to pursue this Walgreens thang. I will let you know when I have more info. I am going to call the company headquarters and talk to a PR person, if I can. I got this off their website:

    15 March 2010
Walgreens to Fill Prescriptions for Current Medicaid Patients Only As of April 16; Talks Continue with State of Washington

DEERFIELD, Ill., March 15, 2010 – Walgreens (NYSE: WAG) (NASDAQ: WAG) has given notice to the State of Washington that its pharmacies across the state will continue filling Medicaid prescriptions for current patients, but effective April 16 they will not accept new Washington Medicaid patients. The company, which operates 121 pharmacies in Washington, originally planned to stop filling Medicaid prescriptions in February at 64 of its stores across the state because of continued reduction in reimbursement under the State’s program. That decision was delayed while negotiations continued over the last month.

“Obviously, we’re disappointed that the alternatives we’ve suggested have failed to achieve a compromise,” said Kermit Crawford, Walgreens executive vice president of pharmacy. “We intend to continue our commitment to serving our existing patients, but we simply can not take on additional losses. As we seek to find a solution, we remain hopeful that our continued work with the State Department of Social and Health Services will ultimately result in maintaining access to quality pharmacy care for those most in need.”

The most recent pharmacy payment reduction results from a Massachusetts court ruling last fall that reduced the industry pricing standard, even though pharmacies’ acquisition costs haven’t changed. While many private insurance providers have adjusted pharmacy reimbursement rates to limit the impact of the court ruling, Washington’s Medicaid program has yet to do so. That’s led to significantly lower payments to pharmacies, severely impacting the economic viability of doing business in Washington.

Walgreens and other Washington pharmacies worked together to identify millions of dollars in potential savings by using medication management techniques such as encouraging greater use of generic prescriptions. Increasing the rate at which Washington Medicaid patients use generic prescriptions by only one percent would have provided more than $9 million in savings.

Under its current pharmacy payment structure, Washington Medicaid is reimbursing Walgreens below its cost to break even on nearly 95 percent of brand name medications dispensed to Medicaid patients.

    whoo hoo!

I have talked to legislative aides for all my state reps and my rep in the US House.

They all agree with me! Now I will wait for my reps to call me back and I can tell them what I think. My one question is this: If Walgreens makes a profit on generics from medicaid patients, why are they refusing to fill presrcriptions from new medicaid patients? Why can’t they just deny them brand name drugs? Is there a law against this? I’m trying to find out….

my next step will be to call Walgreens to find out why. There may be a very good reason. As a citizen journalist, I intend to try to find out.

Prevention is good, but should the government tell you what to eat, when to eat,& exercise? It will happen with this bill. Palosi said it.If government runs healthcare and want to reduce costs, they will tell you what to do. Is that freedom?

“As Kucinich said, and as many are saying…diet, nutrition and exercise are instrumental.”

Time to wake up, Rose. Time to do Jumping jacks. You call those jumping jacks? Let me demonstrate. Now do 25 more. Can you say 1984?

“You may think you are free because you can eat what you want and abuse your temple.”

Actually the temple example in the bible had to do with sex. But that is another discussion. But is it freedom when the government tell you what to do? That is not the governments job. God give rights, the government is to protect them. Healthcare can not be given by God. Not a right. If Government has the power to give us rights, they can take them away. This is Communism.

It’s all in the Constitution what government can do, and it’s not much. It was meant to be that way. The Constitution is the law of the land. Do we just trash it? We are. We’ve trashed the Constitution over the last 100 years. So is it ok to continue to do so? If it’s ok to do so, why doesn’t Obutthole, or any other leader just say “this is the new law of the land. Do it or die!”? Might as well.

  237. rosehips says:

    are you prosyletizing foxy?

  238. rosehips says:

I talked to a Walgreens rep. Here are the reasons he gave for Walgreen to NOT sell generic prescriptions to new medicaid patients:

    1. It will be inconvenient for the patients if they cannot get all their prescriptions filled in one place.

    2. It will be inconvenient for the pharmacists who would have to explain that they can’t sell them brand name drugs.

    3. Patients will be disappointed with Walgreens if they can’t get brand name drugs filled there.

    4. It will be confusing to medicaid patients if they can only buy generics there since most don’t know the difference between generics and brand names.

I told him I understood their reasons but did not find them adequate. I told him to let his corporate heads know that I think they should reconsider. I let him know how easy it is to set up a blog and spread the link around. I asked if they considered the public reaction. (they had).

The one thing they have not considered is the loss of business from prohibiting new medicaid patient prescriptions. He said they have no way to determine this impact. They have no data. This was not considered.

Landmark Legal Foundation to File Suit to Stop President’s Health Plan if ‘Slaughter Rule’ is Used

(LEESBURG, VA, MARCH 17, 2010)…Mark R. If this tactic is employed, Landmark will immediately sue the President, Attorney General Eric Holder and other relevant cabinet members to prevent them from instituting this unconstitutional contrivance.

Legislators in Florida and Michigan have already introduced similar legislation, and potentially, 15 other states will do so in the 2010 legislative session.

    2. Cornhusker kickback is off the table

    3. I think we should watch Earl Pomeroy of North Dakota. I think he might be getting a kickback on bank deals. As I said earlier today, education seems to be a bigger factor than healthcare in this current bill. I believe the only banks that are granting funds for education is in Bismarck, North Dakota. There might be 1 other city but I believe the majority goes to Bismarck.

    4. Louisiana Purchase remains
