The Final Kennedy bites the dust; Obama now spared backing another Progressive loser

Pat Kennedy declines Congress re-election campaign; drops out of politics

The Labor Unions and shadow Progressive Organizations were going to dump millions of astro-turf dollars into backing Pat Kennedy’s reelection campaign for Congress.

Obama will be spared publicly backing yet another loser.

Pat Kennedy announced he will not seek re-election. A good idea, Kennedy, as you would have been handed your butt by R.I Voters as happened to Martha Coakley in her failing bid to salvage a Progressive Senate seat from the jaws of the Dreaded Tea Party grass-roots coalition of voters.

Pat Kennedy has publicly admitted several things… bitterness that Massachusetts Voters elected a Republican (calling it a “joke”) as our replacement for the vacated Senate seat which his father Ted Kennedy occupied for decades, and he admitted he lacks the personal ability to stand on his own two feet now that his father has passed away.

ohhhhh…. boo hoo booo Poooor Baaby. Daddy-Teddy is no longer there to bail you out of jail for drunk driving around Washington, DC. Take some more drugs to give your lack of backbone and character a little boostie.

I love it, a well deserved tribute to a rich kid who lost his ability to stand on his own two feet for a change. A Change we don’t believe in.

How’s that Hopey Changey thang working out for ya Patrick.

  9. rosehips says:

    morning peeps!

sami, big dif between not seeking re-election and quitting in the middle of your term.

that Patrick Kennedy did not seek re-election is not really big news. I would have been surprised if he did after spending part of his term in rehab. Alcoholism is a terrible disease, but it is preventable and can be managed. It seems to be pervasive within the Kennedy clan.

I don’t know anything about Patrick and I wonder how much those that attack his character really do know. Yes, he lashed out at Brown, but I can understand that he was greatly disappointed by the loss to dems of his dad’s seat. He doesn’t seem to have much of the Kennedy moxi that carried other family members to the highest offices in the land. He doesn’t even have the good looks that most Kennedy’s were blessed with. The fact is that Patrick falls way short of the expectations I’m sure that have been placed on him.

Patrick Kennedy gives a whole new meaning to recovery.gov

I have found few, if any, liberal policies that are helpful to the citizens of the United States.

The reason Regressives hate the Constitution is because it is a Conservative document.

  11. Foxwood says:

“I wonder how much those that attack his character really do know.”

Could say the same about Sarah…

  12. Foxwood says:

    Of course he’s a Kennedy… That’s telling…

hmmm….I smell a rat. Is Reid pulling a ploy to win him votes in his re-election bid? Me thinks yes.

WASHINGTON – The Senate’s top leader on Thursday abruptly trimmed the size of a job-creation bill from $85 billion to $15 billion, fearing that even with emerging bipartisan support the larger bill could get bogged down in questions about the kind of legislative favors that hurt health care reform.

Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said his reduced proposal would be the first in a series of job-related measures. His decision came as a surprise, since only hours earlier the $85 billion job bill was presented by Senate Finance Committee leaders with pledges of bipartisan support and praise from the White House.

  14. Foxwood says:

    WOW! What’s this white stuff?

  15. rosehips says:

foxy, I probably know more about Governor Palin than you do, but I have yet to read her book. Have you?

I’m not boasting, I just don’t recall you really talking up the governor all that much. Of course you lust for her, but besides her measurements, what do you really know about her? lol

    oh I’m bad.

  16. rosehips says:

foxy, don’t use your brakes what ever you do. downshift if you need to. have you driven much in snow?

  17. rosehips says:

of course if you have to come to a full stop you need to use your brakes. make sure you tap on them first. never slam on your brakes. I know you know this.

  18. Foxwood says:

We don’t want to piecemeal healthcare but we can piecemeal job creation… that’s liberalism…

I have lots of white stuff driving experience…

  20. SamHenry says:

I love watching the America’s Cup but when it comes to angles of tack, that is math beyond me. I just love the grace and speed. This is the first time in the Cup’s history that catamarans have been use. Oracle’s boat has a huge wing. Read about it. Many of the crew are aircraft people -pilots, etc. and they are using this vertical wing – larger that one on any know aircraft to slow and speed the boat up just the way planes land and take off.

  21. Foxwood says:

I’ve only just recently gotten on the Palin bandwagon… But I have researched her. My interest in books are mainly of Constitutional value.

But I would say most liberals do not know Sarah, nor have read her book.

  22. SamHenry says:

Hi, Rose. I hope you know the final words I directed you were supreme sarcasm between friends.

  23. Foxwood says:

Catamarans are made out of kitty cats, right?

  24. VotingFemale says:

Progressives bashing Conservatives over the years is an art form; the more tasteless, unfounded, and gutter level, the better… and the Progressives are the first to whine and cry foul when it is they who get criticized and most times it is fact based… lol

no, Progressives dug their own hole… let them whine and weep… no mercy 😉

  25. VotingFemale says:

    yes lol

Catamarans are made out of kitty cats, right?

  26. rosehips says:

well, I must say that some of the smartest extremists are the funniest! Didn’t Alinsky tell “us” that humor was of utmost importance? heehee

  27. rosehips says:

SH, yes I know you. How did your presentation go last night?

  28. Foxwood says:

You told me we were supposed to be sadistic to Rose!

  29. rosehips says:

SH, not a big soccer fan but I am getting interested in the Olympics a little since it is practically in my backyard. I have a few memories of Winter Olympics… Montreal in 76, Lake Placid in 80. ask me and I will tell you about them sometime.

  30. rosehips says:

when did I EVER say that foxy???? lol

foxy said: You told me we were supposed to be sadistic to Rose!

  31. rosehips says:

oh wait, who told you that foxy?

  32. samhenry says:

Quite well, thanks. A small crowd so I went into a “lets gather around and I’ll tell you a story mode. They were amazed that my Dad’s flight career testing planes began when he was 23 and ended by about 30 years. He was so good and he accomplished so much in that time period – testing their reactions.

  33. samhenry says:

I am so sleepy – I meant testing so well that he tested one of the first helicopters.

This is what happens when narcolepsy type sleep gets me mid-sentence. Have to use that sleep machine, ugh. I don’t have narcolepsy just flopolepsy.

  34. rosehips says:

I was just reading about the Olympic skier Vonn, forget her first name, who is on the cover of Sports Ill. They say it is a curse to be on the cover. Sure enough she got injured right after the issue came out. But in true athletic spirit, she is going to compete despite her injury. They say she is on pain killers. I hope she doesn’t get addicted. Noone ever said atheletes were smart.

  35. samhenry says:

We’re pretty sad sadists if we are. LOL

I want to finish watching the first race.

    Back later

  36. Foxwood says:

SamH said we were to be sarcastic to you, Rose… I guess I misunderstood…

    🙂

  37. rosehips says:

SH, I know what you mean. I have been waking up at ungodly hours and tossing and turning until I just give up and get out of bed. Then by early evening I’m exhausted. geesh.

  38. rosehips says:

well I haven’t even turned on the tv. Did they get snow on the mountain? I hope so. It rained all night here, so hopefully that translates into snow up there. Otherwise, it will be sad.

dang, I’ve got a busy day. might make another comment or two before I must go.

  39. samhenry says:

I hope all of you will try to watch at least one youtube tape of the America’s Cup Race. The technology on our boat (they are no longer calling it a boat but a sailing platform) is amazing. We have a sail that is essentially a wing – larger than any aircraft wing as I think I said. The “wing caddies” are off on each wing and depending on the tack, one or the other of them has a wheel and is steering. It is amazing. Still, I prefer single hull and I hope these tech races can be called something else and let’s go back to the old single hulls for a race of skill for America’s cup. BEDTIME. Bye Rose my friend. FOX I was making a play on words. i will explain when rested.

  40. rosehips says:

haha SH, I got the America Cup mixed up with soccer. Shows you how much I follow boat races. My sister had a bf who was a hero during one of the big races in the SF Bay. There was a storm and a boat or boats capsized and he quit the race to save lives. He later died in a cocaine related car wreck. He went over a cliff in the Santa Cruz mountains. My sister never really recovered.

  41. rosehips says:

let that be a lesson to everyone. don’t snort while driving. It’s very dangerous.

  42. samiam60 says:

    Rose says
sami, big dif between not seeking re-election and quitting in the middle of your term.

Rose, Rose, Rose, my dear Rose,

The difference is he is going to quit politics at the end of his term. Therefore you are right, he is not a mid term quitter but rather a end term quitter. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

On the subject of Alcoholism, I have never heard of a NON Drinker getting the decease.
How exactly does that work? I am just curious. Perhaps Patrick got it through heredity from his father or by association from his Grandfather, you know, the Rum Runner.

Is smoking a decease caused by heredity?
Is overweightedness a deceased caused by food?

Is there an excuse for every short coming a person has? If you are a liberal, yes there is!

  43. samiam60 says:

Being that most employers now require drug and alcohol testing before hiring and during employment it would seem to me that our Elected Officials should be subjected to random drug and alcohol testing. After all they are making policy and passing laws on our behalf. Should they not be Sober????

  44. rosehips says:

sami, are you an advocate of drug and alcohol testing? I sure am not.
