I saw a piece about past presidents who chose sides depending on where they needed the votes. Clinton said he was routing for California, and in the past Obama has mentioned Cincinati and Pittsburgh when he needed votes in those states. The one that stood out was Reagan. He said since he was president it wouldn’t be right for him to choose sides. I thought that was the best way to be. Impartial. Why piss off half of your constituents?

btw foxy, the gun show was way worth it. We didn’t have to pay admission because people were already breaking down. But there were still traders and the like and I’m sure you’d have loved it. I talked to a few people there. I got talking to one old timer asking if I could just buy an assault rifle and leave with it. He said I shouldn’t call it that, it really is a “varmint rifle” hehe He said since he is not a dealer, I could just give him cash and walk out the door. Dealers would have to see my id and then call in a background check on me and then I could leave with it.
I was tempted to make a video of it and really purchase one. Maybe next time.
