Obama bipartisanship; invite a GOP RINO for Super Bowl Party

That Obama Bipartisanship!
mmm  mmm mmmm

In the era of Scott Brown’s 41st Senate vote, Obama is going ‘Bipartisan’ thus has invited a single Republican, an Obama-bribed RINO, Rep. Anh “Joseph” Cao of Louisiana (the lone Congressional GOP vote for ObamaCare), to watch the Super Bowl with him and his Liberal Chums.

Last year the WH guest list was 75 Liberals, 0 Conservatives. This year the attendance is down to only 40.

mmm… so many Liberals facing Mid-Term Elections; so many empty seats in front of the White House TV.

hey peeps. I’m back but just for a short while. I must leave you all shortly but I will return for some more fun tomorrow.

and yes, it’s true. I don’t know Rush and I know I have more in common with him than I realize. In fact, maybe he should hire me. I could help him develop his “crude” attitude. hehe

  15. rosehips says:

Not sure if I’ll watch the Stuperbowl tomorrow but I want to catch the commercials so I might as well get into the game. Go Saints Go! foxy, I’m with Obama and you on this one!

and ProPublica has been digging around on the Super Bowl ticks scandal for a week or so now. They are calling to see which members of Congress are going and who paid for their ticket. Most that I saw are not going but a lot said they hadn’t decided yet.

  19. samiam60 says:

    Fox,

I think Rose is ignoring me.

I knew she would not answer my question cause she don’t have an answer. It is just her way of pushing buttons.

  20. Foxwood says:

Obutthole said: “I’m not an ideologue”

    Bulshevit!

  21. Foxwood says:

She thinks she pushes buttons. But she runs, because hers are sensitive.

    Rose,

Explain what you mean and where and how I am being used against the Tea Party?

  24. rosehips says:

aha, I see you are doing some backroom analysis with you know who, foxy. but I shall not cop to having my buttons pushed. I admit it is a bit annoying not getting your questions answered (ask sami!) but instead getting the same answer over and over again. (not what I did to sami.) It is more akin to a gnat than to a jolt to my hot wires. It barely emitted a tingle. 😉

  25. rosehips says:

and I ran because I was afraid I would be mean to you. I don’t want to do that. I like you foxy, in a weird kind of way.

  26. Foxwood says:

“I shall not cop to having my buttons pushed.”

    Of coarse not… 😉

  27. Foxwood says:

Bring it on. I dish out very well.

I should not hang with the boys. CAT is no better. She introduced me to (Y) of I have that right. That can be difficult for us oldies LOL.

  31. rosehips says:

okay sami, I was commenting on the story, not your particular posting. sorry. I know you would love it if your post was used by the libs. It would prove that you are getting under their skin. Well keep going on over to cnn and you’ll nail a few scalps fer sho’.

I think maybe the guy got some literacy advocates annoyed, I dunno.

sami said: The former congressman from Colorado and 2008 Republican presidential candidate blasted Obama, saying “people who could not even spell the word ‘vote’, or say it in English, put a committed socialist ideologue in the White House. His name is Barack Hussein Obama.”

  32. Foxwood says:

Ok Then, Mystery solved. and by the way Rose, the libs over at CNN are now over 700 hate filled comments strong. I luv it.

  35. rosehips says:

foxy, I am offended that you question my honesty.

I don’t think I would stay here long if I didn’t have some affection for you. I do admire your passion for the constitution and your insatiable thirst for knowledge. You don’t waiver from your convictions and that is a sign of integrity. You have that, and I respect that. That we are so opposite in our views just makes for lively debate and sometimes volatile feelings. I thrive on that. I’m a masochist, what can i say. I also like to debate and this is a good place to find plenty of it. 🙂

  36. samhenry says:

    Thanks ROSE.

Men – this is your abuser for the day, SamHenry. Listen UP. I re-read the comments here and you get out ahead of Rose’s comments. She had to go and you were still standing beneath her window yelling for her to come out. I could hear you shouting all the way over at this radical Muslim blog I was scoping out. In fact, one of the men was relaying your messages to Rose to the Muslim network where it went viral.LOL

  37. Foxwood says:

“I’m a masochist, what can i say. I also like to debate and this is a good place to find plenty of it. ”

    You’d make a great ex-wife!

  38. samhenry says:

    RH

I wish I could join you in thriving on volatile feelings but they just send me to bed for the afternoon to rest up for other pursuits of the day and a happy return here. LOL

  39. samhenry says:

    LOL FOX – You’d make a great ex-wife!

  40. Foxwood says:

    I think I forgot the :), SamH!

  41. Foxwood says:

    I don’t know about Sami, but I don’t need anymore ex-wives… 🙂

  42. samhenry says:

You’re dealing with someone who has been burned and has been weakened by the experience.

Ex-perience is all I have left. I’m not an Ex-anything – just a wannabe lol.

  43. rosehips says:

SH, well I guess I could do without most of the volatile feelings, but I do like emotion. I once found a sparkly tee shirt at a thrift. It said “Gossip Queen” I wore it with pride. My ex would often laugh with my son and mock me for being a gossiper. well guess what? that is like the pot calling the kettle black. haha
I”d also like a tee that says “Drama Queen” heehee

and foxy, I do make an excellent ex. haha
actually my ex and I have just recently settled into a civil relationship. time does help one heal and age does help one forget. haha

  44. samhenry says:

You can forget the smiley in my case – I hate the things and forget about “have a nice day as well.” For that, you can go to the McDonald’s drive up window.

    LOL is just fine.

  45. rosehips says:

besides my one ex husband, I have not had any tempestuous break-ups that have left me with bitterness or hate. There have been betrayals, disapointments, lies and even boredom. But only one merits the wrath of rosehips.

    woe is he.

  46. Foxwood says:

My first I get along with. Not so much my second…

  47. samiam60 says:

    Foxwood says
    I don’t know about Sami, but I don’t need anymore ex-wives

    Fox

I am currently thinking about committing to my neighbor friend. I truly believe she could be a most excellent future ex.

  48. samhenry says:

I’m a drama queen to be sure Rosie. That I can do to a T – shirt?

A friend gave me a pin of rhinestones writ large with “WHATEVER.” At my weight it just will not settle down if you know what I mean – Sami and FOX I WILL NOT explain that which is your sex-laden comeback, LOL. I gave the thing to my niece. She’s very much a whatever kind of person. You and I can’t deal with that to be sure. We will voice anything that needs an answer – not a whatever. lol

  49. rosehips says:

SH, you hate smilies? do you hate all emotocons? Do you hate all nicey nice farewells as well?

  50. samhenry says:

Rose – I think the one that got boredom got the really raw, dull end of the deal. IMO LOL

  51. Foxwood says:

“I truly believe she could be a most excellent future ex.”

    🙂 Your nuts! 🙂

  52. samhenry says:

I just have always hated the smiley faces – you know you can see those hideous things at Walmart. It is an image thang.
I love sincere hello/good-bye not the the phrases you can train a good parrot to say. LOL

  53. samhenry says:

Gentlemen – no nuts exposed here, please. LOL

  54. Foxwood says:

I’m joining the “HE MAN, WOMAN HATER’S CLUB”.

  55. samhenry says:

Rosie – I don’t hate all emotions. I said I was a drama queen but I may have been above you on the scroll or you might have been out of the room.

I LOVE a good laugh. I love a good cry (the good ones when you are happy; the sad ones when you need the release).

Vengeance is mine saith the Lord and I take him at his word. I ring him up and tell him the target – like I did my Mom when my brothers gave me a hard time.

  56. rosehips says:

sami, I hope you are not talking engagement, are you?
don’t do anything you might regret. We haven’t even met yet! lol

  57. samhenry says:

Sami, you will send all the women folk on the blog into orbit if you make a formal commitment. Why bother. Just move in.

  58. samiam60 says:

Fox, life is just too short not to take a chance. I think I am on to something good. If only she would know when its time to go home. lol

  59. samhenry says:

Glad to hear that your equilibrium is in tact, Sami.

  60. Foxwood says:

“I think I am on to something good.”

  61. samhenry says:

I met Brian’s GF. She is a peach. He really should make some kind of arrangement with her. He said they were like Salt and Pepper so I call her “Salt” and she really is – the salt of the earth.

Wish I could meet all of you, Wah!

  62. rosehips says:

love the vid foxy. but what the hay? Alfalfa is a ladies man! I think Spanky should be elected. Spanky for President!

foxy, my ex is a misogynist too. He has been married three times and has numerous long term relationships that have gone sour. I could form an ex-wives club and collect a dollar from each one and I’d be able to retire. lol

  63. samhenry says:

Okay men and woman. I have to depart the theatre of suppressed conflict. LOL

Now you can let fly with the aggression.

  64. samiam60 says:

    Rose says
sami, I hope you are not talking engagement, are you?
don’t do anything you might regret. We haven’t even met yet! lol

    Rose,

My dear sweet Rose, you are always in first place with me. However, I fear that if we met and you got to know me on a personal level you might become very violent in a short period of time. I seem to have that affect on Spirited Women. No engagement in the future for me with my neighbor. Just gonna kick it up a notch for now. Can’t believe she tolerates me. Sometimes I can’t tolerate myself.

  65. Foxwood says:

“my ex is a misogynist too.”

So he’s good with his hands? You got freebies?

  66. Foxwood says:

“Now you can let fly with the aggression.”

    Yes ma’am! 🙂

  67. samhenry says:

You’re a good Southern gentleman for all that, my FOX. No LOL – this is sincere.

  68. rosehips says:

sami, I have had that problem too. You just have to set boundaries. I just tell him when he can come and when he has to leave. He appreciates the guidance and knows that moderation has its advantages.

In past lives, I have been very quick to jump into a relationship head first without much thought. I think that if you use your head instead of other parts of the anatomy, you are better off. At our age, it’s easier to see that.

sami said: Fox, life is just too short not to take a chance. I think I am on to something good. If only she would know when its time to go home. lol

  69. samiam60 says:

    SamH,

Maybe I should come up to your neck of the woods and become a boarder?

  70. rosehips says:

far from feeling aggressive, I am getting a hearty chuckle foxy!

    LOL

  71. samhenry says:

PS, I’m Alfalfa if I’m any character in Our GANG. This one and the celluloid one – actually at my age and weight they are both celluloid LOL.

DOG goes ashore on gangplank. The Great Ship VF is blessedly in port. We came in to make it easier for Belle to get her through the snow.

  72. rosehips says:

  74. rosehips says:

later SH. I must go too!

    Happy Saturday!

  75. samhenry says:

Welcome anytime. But you will have to call me “mam” as does my military boarder in the other room. LOL. I adore him. He has been great to have around. The only buttons he has are on his jacket. He also has a gun and an Army behind him. I call him Sir! LOL

Hey, Sami – in all sincerity – glad to see you anytime.

Bullies are bullies. Obutthole is screwing our country BIG TIME.

Has Obama just handed the moon to China?

A decade from now, the Chinese could have a lunar military base
    By Tim Edwards
    FEBRUARY 5, 2010

President Barack Obama’s proposal to cut the $81bn funding for Nasa’s Constellation manned spaceflight programme spells the end of America’s attempt to return people to the moon by 2020. If Congress approves the budget, it almost certainly means the next people to land on the moon will be Chinese. Some people are saying this is a serious strategic error.

Such a strategic withdrawal represents a remarkable turnaround for a country that as recently as 2003 warned that China’s “manned space efforts almost certainly will contribute to improved military space systems in the 2010-2020 timeframe”.

So claimed a US Defence Department report called ‘The Military Power of the People’s Republic of China’, which for good measure quoted Captain Shen Zhongchang of the Chinese Navy Research Institute as saying: “The mastery of outer space will be a requisite for military victory, with outer space becoming the new commanding heights for combat.”

It would be easy to argue this report was a product of its time – when a paranoid Bush administration was looking for enemies to justify its controversial missile defence shield. But if anything the threat from China has increased since then.

In 2007 China shocked the world by becoming only the third nation to shoot down a satellite with a ground-based missile – demonstrating an ability to protect itself from spy satellites.

The US and the Soviet Union ran similar tests in the 1980s, but stopped, largely because of the menace of orbiting debris from the destroyed satellites.

The Chinese space programme gets by on around $1.3bn per year – compared to Nasa’s $17.6bn – but it is already proving an embarrassment to America. With a little more of China’s undoubted financial might behind it, it could deliver a lunar base some time in the 2020s.

China is adamant any such base would be open to scientists from around the world. But would the Americans be able to swallow their pride and send scientists to a Chinese moon base?

Two months after China’s satellite target practice, the former chief administrator of Nasa, Michael Griffin, testified to the US Senate: “The moon is very visible and any proposition by another country to set up a permanent presence there would be unacceptable to the Americans.”

More recently, the messages coming from China have been mixed. Air force commander Xu Qiliang told the People’s Liberation Army Daily in November 2009: “As far as the revolution in military affairs is concerned, the competition between military forces is moving towards outer space… this is a historical inevitability and a development that cannot be turned back.”

Yet around the same time, China and Russia jointly submitted a proposal to the United Nations aimed at securing “a legally-binding agreement banning the deployment of weapons in outer space”.

Last month Richard Fisher, a senior fellow at the International Assessment and Strategy Center in Virginia, warned of China’s “scary space ambitions” in an article in the Wall Street Journal Asia. He reported claims that China could develop ‘assassin’ and laser-armed satellites and may already be developing an ‘orbital bomber’.

Fisher also warned: “The PLA may also consider placing military assets on the moon.” And he said future, larger, unmanned moon bases could be used to eliminate deep space American early-warning satellites.

Fisher’s warnings came less than two weeks before Obama presented his budget and signalled the end of US manned space flight and, effectively, its interest in a moon base. Building such a structure would be all but impossible without astronauts on the lunar surface.

In 2006, President George W Bush released a Space Policy Document. It stressed that the US must “develop capabilities, plans, and options to ensure freedom of action in space, and, if directed, deny such freedom of action to adversaries”.

At the time, the report was met with general dismay as the lunatic ravings of a warmonger. The Asia Times read: “The US is turning space into its personal colony.” But with China seemingly the only participants in an undeclared space race, Bush’s policy looks almost reasonable.

The Democratic and Republican parties have become little more than squalid clubs of privilege and wealth, whores to money and corporate interests, hostage to a massive arms industry, and so adept at deception and self-delusion they no longer know truth from lies. We will either find our way out of this mess by embracing an uncompromising democratic socialism—one that will insist on massive government relief and work programs, the nationalization of electricity and gas companies, a universal, not-for-profit government health care program, the outlawing of hedge funds, a radical reduction of our bloated military budget and an end to imperial wars—or we will continue to be fleeced and impoverished by our bankrupt elite and shackled and chained by our surveillance state. […]

Corporations have intruded into every facet of life. We eat corporate food. We buy corporate clothes. We drive corporate cars. We buy our vehicular fuel and our heating oil from corporations. We borrow from corporate banks. We invest our retirement savings with corporations. We are entertained, informed and branded by corporations. We work for corporations. The creation of a mercenary army, the privatization of public utilities and our disgusting for-profit health care system are all legacies of the corporate state. These corporations have no loyalty to America or the American worker. They are not tied to nation states. They are vampires. […]

The corporation is designed to make money without regard to human life, the social good or impact on the environment. Corporate laws impose a legal duty on corporate executives to make as much money as possible for shareholders, although many have moved on to fleece shareholders as well. In the 2003 documentary film “The Corporation” the management guru Peter Drucker says: “If you find an executive who wants to take on social responsibilities, fire him. Fast.”

A corporation that attempts to engage in social responsibility, that tries to pay workers a decent wage with benefits, that invests its profits to protect the environment and limit pollution, that gives consumers fair deals, can be sued by shareholders. Robert Monks, the investment manager, says in the film: “The corporation is an externalizing machine, in the same way that a shark is a killing machine. There isn’t any question of malevolence or of will. The enterprise has within it, and the shark has within it, those characteristics that enable it to do that for which it was designed.” Ray Anderson, the CEO of Interface Corp., the world’s largest commercial carpet manufacturer, calls the corporation a “present day instrument of destruction” because of its compulsion to “externalize any cost that an unwary or uncaring public will allow it to externalize.” […]

Coalitions of environmental, anti-nuclear, anti-capitalist, sustainable-agriculture and anti-globalization forces have coalesced in Europe to form and support socialist parties. This has yet to happen in the United States. The left never rallied in significant numbers behind Cynthia McKinney or Ralph Nader. In picking the lesser of two evils, it threw its lot in with a Democratic Party that backs our imperial wars, empowers the national security state and does the bidding of corporations.

If Barack Obama does not end the flagrant theft of taxpayer funds by corporate slugs and the disgraceful abandonment of our working class, especially as foreclosures and unemployment mount, many in the country will turn in desperation to the far right embodied by groups such as Christian radicals. The failure by the left to offer a democratic socialist alternative will mean there will be, in the eyes of many embittered and struggling working- and middle-class Americans, no alternative but a perverted Christian fascism. The inability to articulate a viable socialism has been our gravest mistake. It will ensure, if this does not soon change, a ruthless totalitarian capitalism.

If you believe this sh!t, you’ve drank way too much koolaid. Don’t call for an ambulance. Just put the pennies on the eyes.

I’ve said it before. This President is a Progressive. That means he too stupid to be a leader. He only follows his Communist leaders commands.

This is proven when he tries to make his own decisions. For political reasons only he as gotten to crotch bomber to talk. The stupid part is, you don’t announce it. You get the information and don’t let the enemy know you did it.

For you Progressives that don’t get it. If you let your enemy know you got information, they know what that information is and do what it takes do reduce damages.

This idiot for a President was being Narcissistic again and not thinking of what is best for our country.
