MSNBC Chris Matthews compares GOP to Communist Party of Kampuchea, the Khmer Rouge

Strain of Obama's failing Presidency is more than Chris Matthews can bare.

Chris Matthews, I fear, has lapsed into paranoid delusion and should be put on an indefinite leave of absence and checked into a mental ward before he harms himself or others.

From NewBusters:

Appearing on the January 29 “Rachel Maddow Show,” fellow MSNBCer Chris Matthews compared Republican conservatives to the Khmer Rouge, the murderous Communist regime that racked up a body count of some two million during its reign of terror.

What’s going on out there in the Republican Party is kind of a frightening, almost Cambodia re-education camp going on in that party, where they’re going around to people, sort of switching their minds around saying, if you’re not far right, you’re not right enough.

you can read the rest here

I think it is time that Chris Matthews is retired from his post. This is beyond extreme, even for an aging over-the-hill Obamabot like Chris Matthews.

Actually I am surprised the Socialist Progressives have not  promoted Pol Pot, Leader of the Communist Party of Kampuchea, AKA The Khmer Rouge, on trendy tee shirts and Obama Christmas tree ornaments like they have an ever greater killer of 10s of millions of innocent people, Mao Tse-Tung, the butcher of China.

After all… Pol Pot is a Communist Mass Murderer thus deserving of your promotion to the American Youth, right Progressives???

Pol Pot was the cause of the death of 25% of the population of Cambodia during his Communist reign of terror.

from TheUnexplainedMysteries.com:

An attempt by Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot to form a Communist peasant farming society resulted in the deaths of 25 percent of the country’s population from starvation, overwork and executions.

Pol Pot was born in 1925 (as Saloth Sar) into a farming family in central Cambodia, which was then part of French Indochina. In 1949, at age 20, he traveled to Paris on a scholarship to study radio electronics but became absorbed in Marxism and neglected his studies. He lost his scholarship and returned to Cambodia in 1953 and joined the underground Communist movement. The following year, Cambodia achieved full independence from France and was then ruled by a royal monarchy.

.

Pol POt By 1962, Pol Pot had become leader of the Cambodian Communist Party and was forced to flee into the jungle to escape the wrath of Prince Norodom Sihanouk, leader of Cambodia. In the jungle, Pol Pot formed an armed resistance movement that became known as the Khmer Rouge (Red Cambodians) and waged a guerrilla war against Sihanouk’s government.

In 1970, Prince Sihanouk was ousted, not by Pol Pot, but due to a U.S.-backed right-wing military coup. An embittered Sihanouk retaliated by joining with Pol Pot, his former enemy, in opposing Cambodia’s new military government. That same year, the U.S. invaded Cambodia to expel the North Vietnamese from their border encampments, but instead drove them deeper into Cambodia where they allied themselves with the Khmer Rouge.

From 1969 until 1973, the U.S. intermittently bombed North Vietnamese sanctuaries in eastern Cambodia, killing up to 150,000 Cambodian peasants. As a result, peasants fled the countryside by the hundreds of thousands and settled in Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh.

All of these events resulted in economic and military destabilization in Cambodia and a surge of popular support for Pol Pot.

By 1975, the U.S. had withdrawn its troops from Vietnam. Cambodia’s government, plagued by corruption and incompetence, also lost its American military support. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge army, consisting of teenage peasant guerrillas, marched into Phnom Penh and on April 17 effectively seized control of Cambodia.

Once in power, Pol Pot began a radical experiment to create an agrarian utopia inspired in part by Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution, which he had witnessed, first-hand during a visit to Communist China.

Mao’s “Great Leap Forward” economic program included forced evacuations of Chinese cities and the purging of “class enemies.” Pol Pot would now attempt his own “Super Great Leap Forward” in Cambodia, which he renamed the Democratic Republic of Kampuchea.

He began by declaring, “This is Year Zero,” and that society was about to be “purified.” Capitalism, Western culture, city life, religion, and all foreign influences were to be extinguished in favor of an extreme form of peasant Communism.

“Obama is getting slammed left and right and could his inexperience be a factor in the dissatisfaction that Americans are experiencing? Why would we want to consider candidates who are equally inexperienced?”

The problem is not his inexperience… The problem is his Progressive/Communism.

  2. Foxwood says:

What is wrong with Chris Mathews? Did he take that last tab of acid he’d been hanging on to since his hero, Alinsky?

  3. Foxwood says:

    Speaking of Alinsky.

The National Education Association and Organizing for America (a part of Organizing for Obutthole) a school mentoring organization, are allowing the use of the book “Rules for Radicals”.

Heard it on Fox news radio this morning.

  4. VotingFemale says:

    I read about that…

This is what is killing any chance Obama ever had for a second term… he is lucky he isn’t impeached for being an enemy of the state.

  5. Foxwood says:

How do you become President by associating with and being a Communist?

    It’s our education system.

  6. samiam60 says:

The liberals I think are so incensed that the Chosen One whom they had put all of their faith in is nothing more than a Campaign Robot of sorts who can not disengage from campaigning long enough to at least try to act Presidential.

The Liberals are coming unglued and the high they thought they had was “Bummer man” what a bummer. Obama is not nor will he ever be anything more than a community organizer el corrupto.

rosehips: legalize marijuana and open the market to private farms and industry. Legalize hemp and give tax breaks to farmers and small manufacturers who hire legal workers at fair wages and fair benefits. Promote the industry world wide and be the world’s largest exporter of marijuana and hemp products. Let people light up in their homes, walk to the corner and purchase a variety of taxable products, and use some of the money to fight drug addiction and educate the public about addiction and responsible use. Use the bulk of the revenue to chip away at the national debt.

    Hello Sam!

The way I look at it is the terrorist should not be put to death by leathel injection. C’mon.. the punishment should fit the crime. It was an act of terrorism against the United States not just New York or Washington so the trials could and should be held in a state where the terrorist can not choose their preferred way of death. Does this make any sense? If not, then the trials should be held in Washington and not New York. New York should’ve never been mentioned. Why wasn’t Washington the first place brought up?

  22. ohiobelle says:

I am still talking about the terrorist..

Reid Schedules Vote on Controversial Labor Nominee Before Brown Arrives

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has scheduled a key vote Monday afternoon on a controversial Labor Department nominee, even though Republican Sen.-elect Scott Brown has not been sworn in yet.

  25. ohiobelle says:

Lethal injection should be off the table.!

  26. samiam60 says:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has scheduled a key vote Monday afternoon on a controversial Labor Department nominee, even though Republican Sen.-elect Scott Brown has not been sworn in yet.

The vote has riled at least one watchdog group, saying Reid is just trying to ram through the nomination of Patricia Smith for Labor Department solicitor before Republicans have enough votes to block her. And a spokesman for Sen. Mike Enzi, the Republican senator who had put a “hold” on Smith’s nomination last year, said Enzi would prefer “all controversial nominations” be put off until Brown is seated.

Enzi, ranking Republican on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, put out a report Monday saying Smith’s “lack of candor” in prior testimony before his committee makes her “unqualified” for the post.

Republicans have widely objected to Smith’s nomination. Every Republican on the Senate panel screening Smith for the post went on record in opposition back in October, citing “discrepancies” in her congressional testimony. Enzi, R-Wyo., put a hold on the nomination around the same time, meaning Smith would need 60 votes to overcome a procedural hurdle in the Senate.

Democrats currently have 60 votes, but that number will drop to 59 once Brown is sworn in.

“He’d be the 41st vote (against) cloture,” said Don Todd, research director with Americans for Limited Government. He said Reid should hold off, given that he said the Senate would not “rush into anything” after Brown was elected in the Massachusetts special election. At the time, Reid was referring mainly to health care reform.

Asked whether Reid was trying to squeeze in the vote before Brown is seated, a Reid aide said Reid was “committed” to moving the nomination forward early this year because such motions were put off last year due to the health care debate.

“Patricia Smith has been ready for floor consideration since she was reported out of the HELP Committee on Oct. 6 of last year, but Republican senators have blocked her from receiving a vote on the floor,” the aide said in an e-mail.

Senate Republicans’ concerns are rooted in the creation of a labor initiative in New York during Smith’s term as state labor commissioner. The New York Wage Watch program, modeled after neighborhood watch programs, encourages workers to monitor and report labor law violations.

Conservatives, though, say the program gives unions too much power. Senate Republicans’ specific objections with Smith have to do with alleged “inconsistencies” in her testimony to Congress on the development of the program in New York.

Enzi’s report on Monday alleged that the New York state Department of Labor had input from outside groups, though Smith told Congress the program was created internally. The report said internal documents repeatedly discuss the expansion of the program, though Smith told the committee she had no plans to expand it in New York.

Enzi wrote to President Obama in August saying he was also concerned that Smith did not initially consult with small business owners in developing the program.

“I have significant concerns about Ms. Smith’s ability to work with small businesses,” Enzi wrote.

Smith’s nomination, however, has been in the pipeline for nearly a year. Obama nominated Smith for the post last March.

In the March announcement, the administration cited her extensive record in the labor field.

She worked for 20 years in the Labor Bureau of the New York attorney general’s office. As New York labor commissioner, Smith overseas 3,700 employees in 80 offices and serves as an adviser to Gov. David Paterson.

The Wage Watch program, criticized by Republicans, was hailed by unions and watchdog groups when it was announced last January. Bruce W. Both, head of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 1500, called the program at the time a “creative yet fiscally efficient way to educate workers and employers about their labor rights and obligations during these difficult economic times.”

I like the new single injection method. I hear it’s a very painful and long process. It’s a 55 gallon enema.

    Ohiobelle,

It is an outrage that they get a civilian trial. Now they are taking peoples eyes off that fact by discussing where the trial should take place.

It is an act of war against the American People and it should be dealt with by our military who by the way are the ones trying to keep us safe from these fanatics.

  29. ohiobelle says:

Fox, please note: do not copy a sentence unless all the words are spelled correctly.. hahha

Lethal injection doesn’t fit the crime. I was thinking more on the line of dismemberment.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Where is the social justice for the victims of 9-11?? I don’t think we should spend 1 dime to give these thugs any justice.

  31. Foxwood says:

What an outrage it would be that the case gets thrown out because of Miranda rights. I think the people would be pissed.

This is why we should not allow them any rights!! What happens if they get off??? Are they going to have the rights of US citizens?? Are we going to just say time served??

  34. ohiobelle says:

outrage doesn’t begin to explain what would happen in the United States.

Will Bush or Cheney have to appear before these thugs?? Is this just the left trying to put Bush on the stand?? It’s an outrage!

    02/01/2010 at 9:00 a.m.

One year after Obama promised to close the Guantanamo Detention Center, it is still open. Why is it taking so long to close it down? There are only 192 prisoners left at Guantanamo. Where have the rest of them gone? Can any of the current prisoners be brought to trial — in either military or civilian courts? Three prisoners died in Guantanamo in 1996. Were their deaths suicide as was claimed by the government, or homicides? Is the current government complicit in covering up a crime?

    SUBJECT: Pandemic Warning

The Center for Disease Control has issued a warning about a new virulent strain of an old disease.

The disease is called Gonorrhea Lectim. (It’s pronounced “Gonna re-elect ‘im.”)

The disease is contracted through dangerous and high risk behavior involving putting your cranium up your rectum.

Many victims contracted it in 2008 ….. but now most people after having been infected for the past 1-2 years are starting to realize how destructive this sickness is. It’s unfortunate because it is so easily cured with a new procedure just beginning to emerge called Votemout (Vote ‘m out)!

You take the first dose in 2010 and the second dosage in 2012 and simply don’t engage in such behavior again, otherwise it could become permanent and eventually wipe out all life as we know it.

Some states have taken steps to eradicate this insidious problem, for instance, Virginia and New Jersey, and apparently now Massachusetts with many more victims seeing the problem more clearly.

This has been a public service announcement!

    An Osama or Obama joke…hahahaa

While trying to escape through Pakistan , Osama Bin Laden found a bottle on the sand and picked it up. Suddenly, a female genie rose from the bottle and with a smile said, “Master, may I grant you one wish?” Osama responded,” You ignorant, unworthy daughter-of-a-dog! Don’t you know who I am? I don’t need any common woman giving me anything.”

The shocked genie said, “Please, I must grant you a wish or I will be returned to that bottle forever.”

Osama thought a moment, then grumbled about the impertinence of the woman and said, “Very well, I want to awaken with three American women in my bed in the morning. So just do it and be off with you.”

The annoyed genie said, “So be it!” and disappeared.

The next morning Bin Laden woke up in bed with Lorena Bobbitt, Tonya Harding, and Nancy Pelosi at his side. His pe*is was gone, his knees were broken, and he had no health insurance.

Ms. Walters approached one of the Afghani women and asked, ‘Why do
you now seem happy with an old custom that you once tried so
    desperately to change?’
The woman looked Ms. Walters straight in the eyes, and without
    hesitation said, ‘Land Mines.’

Obama Surrendering Internet to Foreign Powers
    Sunday, 31 Jan 2010 06:41 PM

    By: Bradley A. Blakeman

Without the ingenuity of America’s brightest minds and the investment of U.S. taxpayer dollars, there would be no Internet, as we now know it today.

Now, the Obama administration has moved quietly to cede control of the Web from the United States to foreign powers…..

….Now for the bad news: In an effort to show the world how inclusive, sharing, cooperative, and international America can be, the Obama administration set off on a plan to surrender control and key management of the Internet by the U.S. Department of Commerce and its agents.

The key to the control America has over the Internet is through the management of the Domain Name System (DNS) and the giant servers that service the Internet.

Domain names are managed through an entity named IANA, the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority. The IANA, which operates on behalf of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is responsible for the global coordination of the DNS, IP addressing, and other Internet protocol resources.

In short, without an IP Address or other essential Internet protocols, a person or entity would not have access to the Internet.

For years, the international community has been pressuring the United States
to surrender its control and management of the Internet. They want an international body such as the United Nations or even the International Telecommunications Union, (an entity that coordinates international telephone communications), to manage all aspects of the Internet in behalf of all nations.

The argument advanced for those seeking international control of the Internet is that the Internet has become such a powerful, pervasive, and a dependent form of international communications, that it would be dangerous and inequitable for any one nation to control and manage it.

Just this past spring, within months of Obama’s taking office, his administration, through the Department of Commerce, agreed to relinquish some control over IANA and their governance. The Obama administration has agreed to give greater representation to foreign companies and countries on IANA…….

Good Morning Foxwood! You beat Sammy this morning!

    Good to see you Lisa!!!

Good Morning Foxwood and thank you for the Cannon Fire. I am off to a late start this morning.

Good morning VF and all my fellow patriots.

It’s my goal to p!ss of some Progressives today!

  75. samiam60 says:

Foxwood I am finding that the Progressives are unwilling to engage lately. 😦

  76. Foxwood says:

I know they read our comments, Sami. They don’t have to respond. I know I can say something that will make someone drink a gallon of koolaid.

  77. Foxwood says:

All we have to do is speak the truth and the Progressives blow a fuse.

  78. samhenry says:

good morning troops. Don’t ask don’t tell. Puxatawney (sp) Phil is a rodent!

  79. Foxwood says:

A Rodent? Is that like a Progressive?

  80. Foxwood says:

    Good Morning SamH, Sami, VF!

  81. samhenry says:

Actually it’s like members who lead the military in the audience when the Prez announced a new policy on Dont’ Ask, Don’t ever tell – they did not clap for the measure – they were too busy holding hands.

Also they are closet Progressives, yes. Why else would they be so militant?

  82. Foxwood says:

    Isn’t Militant Progressivism redundant…

Or was it Progressive Intelligence an oxymoron?

    Oh well…

  83. Foxwood says:

  84. samhenry says:

Good find on that National Education Assn. approval of Rules for Radicals.

It’s OK to be a revolutionary. Great. We all are trying to get the system right and kids are learning not to better it though Constitutional means but for throwing it all out. What have we come to? It’s one thing to discuss a book like that in University; another to introduce it into high school.

I read in the Times Online where the threat to move to raise taxes on the rich to 50% has caused more move to offshore activity. What a surprise. The Islamic revolutionaries there already have that kind of banking.

  85. samhenry says:

Great turn of phrase on the story, Fox.

Did you see my post on Granny Gangs – a rising phenomenon due to economy? It is a global “movement.”

  86. samhenry says:

Militant Progressive redundant FOX? Progressives are overly aggressive – that was my shorthand for the situation. Very sharp this AM FOX. You must have signed off early last night to get a good night’s sleep.

  87. Foxwood says:

Definitely slept last night. I turned in at 6:30 pm.

  88. rosehips says:

    morning peeps!

lol foxy, make my day! Blowing fuses is a progressive safety net. It’s kind of a bs detector. If there’s too much bs (amps) the fuse keeps the bs from killing the system. it a beautiful thing.

I found this blog after reading your slam on the intelligence of progressives.

    Forbidden political discussion #437: Intelligence
    by danbrooks

“I’m not saying that one political position in America is currently smarter than the other, but the Senate health care reform package involves death panels, the President of the United States is not an American citizen, and the swine flu vaccine might be a trick. Also, this lady. When high school graduate Glenn Beck claims that Nelson Rockefeller was a communist because of a mural he commissioned from Diego Rivera—a mural whose depiction of Lenin angered Rockefeller so much that it touched off the century’s greatest controversy in public art—it’s tempting to conclude that his position is influenced by, well, ignorance. As we all know, “ignorant” is a polite way of saying another word that we have been trained never, ever to use in the context of responsible political debate. You can’t get anything done by disparaging people’s intelligence. To do so is, at best, to commit the ad hominem fallacy, and at worst to provide your opponent with a weapon that they will use against you later. We don’t argue about who’s smarter in America. Anyone who does winds up looking stupid.”

I once had a marriage counselor who admitted that he once accidently blacked out on codeine and cough syrup and took his uncle’s gun from a cabinet and went down the street and robbed a convenience store. When the memory of the crime began to become clear to him, he told his wife and some friends and one of his friends turned him in. I was shocked that this pudgy, jolly psychologist working for the Methodist Church was a convict.

  91. rosehips says:

So am I to assume (whoops, don’t want to do that) that some of us here want “Rules for Radicals” banned from schools?

Not if you secretly stuck a penny in place of the fuse. He he he!

  94. Foxwood says:

Oh, Rosey, By calling them ignorant, you expose to them they are dumb as a rock.

  95. samiam60 says:

Rosie should the Bible be banned from the schools?

    Rosie says:

So am I to assume (whoops, don’t want to do that) that some of us here want “Rules for Radicals” banned from schools?

    Answer,

Neither should be banned but by the same token neither should be forced reading in a class room.

  96. Foxwood says:

Rules for Radicals is the book Progressive Communists use to teach how to overthrow the Constitution you so believe in.

  97. rosehips says:

    haha foxy.
When my family moved to a turn of the century victorian house when I was 5, my dad found an indian head penny stuck in our fuse box…true story.

    Rose,

Those Marriage Counselors don’t really seem to help much in my opinion.

  100. rosehips says:

sami, I’d personally have no problem with having the bible in the school library, right along side the koran, torah, communist manifesto, unibomber manifesto, the world according to garp, the tantric sex manual and pee wee herman’s movie review guide from 1991.

    hahaha
