Coakley and her Goon; How much Lobbyists’ $$$ did ya get in Washington, old girl?

Coakley’s Democratic Senate Campaign Committee supplied Private Goon,  Michael Meehan (confirmed attacker), commits unlawful battery against innocent Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack asking Coakley questions by shoving him to the ground …then claimed the reporter accidently “fell over a fence” until the Democratic Goon learns he was videoed in the act of attacking John McCormack.

Were you armed, Michael Meehan? Were you carrying a gun?

After learning the event was videoed, the Democratic Party Goon, Michael Meehan, self-righteously claimed it was an ‘accident.’

Gee… Would that be a denial of guilt? …like the Democratic Party Goon is going to incriminate himself in what could turn out to be either a civil suit or a criminal case or both?

Sooo… Madam Coakley? Just how much money did the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee get the Washington specialist interest lobbyists to write checks to your state campaign for?

    Gross.

How much more corrupt can the Dems get?

  3. Foxwood says:

Just in from Rush news. Unions strike deal with Democraps. People making Cadillacs will get to keep Cadillac healthcare plans.

  4. Foxwood says:

Dems are pretty corrupt. Once you get the Washington bug, you get corrupt. Happend to GOP also, just not nearly as bad.

  5. samiam60 says:

Hi there M2. I liked your input on the previous blog post. Direct and to the Point, that’s you and I love how well you can articulate a point of view.
That is a gift I wish I had.

  6. m2 says:

FYI rose, ppl did worry about the rules change unapproved the day it happened before the facts got out, I remember the same day reading it was about the bureaucrat death panels on AmericanSpectator.org. Actually heard about the unprecedented rule change on Twitter.

The statement you pulled from a Politico article, maybe is misleading. But as far as journalism goes Politico is thought of as I am sure you know, not “right wing”.

I don’t see the connection you make between the Politico and assuming Beck and Limbaugh at all reported the same ???

  7. rosehips says:

okay folks, I’m done beating my head against the wall.

VF, yes. the realclearpolitics author did not mention anything about a subsection and if he was trying to imply that it was only the subsection that was unrepealable, he did a very bad job of it.

and foxy can correct me if I’m wrong but he is the one that claims that Rush says the bill is unrepealable if enacted into law. If that is not what Rush said , then I’m sorry but that is exactly what I got from foxy.

okay, foxy didn’t exactly say that. he just kept repeating “It’s in the bill, it’s in the bill” when I said it wasn’t. He said rush told him so. He said he believes rush. only problem he didn’t really say what rush said was so….

m2, I did not bring rush or glen or anyone else into this. I am simply saying that the bill as written does not protect itself from repeal but that rumor has traveled far and wide that it does. It is false and I have tried to show that it is false. But noone here is willing to admit that.

  8. m2 says:

Foxwood… The taxing of the Cadillac plans was going to somewhat maintain the cost though hardly… Now there is nothing left but an mushroom cloud sized explosion of cost.

  9. rosehips says:

m2, foxy can correct me but I thought he implied that Rush, Glen and FoxNews all said that the bill includes a provision that will make it unrepealable. He asked me if I was accusing them of lying. I don’t think they lied unless they were aware that it was only the subsection dealing with the medicare advisory board that is unrepealable but told their viewers it was the bill that would be unrepealable.

Is that really so hard to understand????

  10. VotingFemale says:

Rose, in the case of Rush’s statement… it is true that once an entitlement program is passed into law… getting it repealed is a virtual impossibility.

Legally it can be done… but repealing large entitlement bills has not been successful in the past.

The progressives were the ones who pushed through Alcohol Prohibition… and that got repealed… but it was a prohibition not and entitlement.

  11. VotingFemale says:

M2, can you report your comment samiam was talking about?

  12. Foxwood says:

“claims that Rush says the bill is unrepealable if enacted into law”

I never said that> I said I heard the same thing on ElRushbo.

  13. rosehips says:

vf, I don’t dispute this point.

vf said: Rose, in the case of Rush’s statement… it is true that once an entitlement program is passed into law… getting it repealed is a virtual impossibility.

Legally it can be done… but repealing such entitlement bill has not been successful in the past.

  14. Foxwood says:

If anybody was misleading Rosey, It was me. I never made a specific point but let you assume it.

  15. rosehips says:

I know you didn’t say that foxy. you just said “it’s in the bill, it’s in the bill, it’s in the bill…then you said I was calling rush a liar.

foxy said: “claims that Rush says the bill is unrepealable if enacted into law”

I never said that> I said I heard the same thing on ElRushbo.

  16. rosehips says:

or you asked if I was calling rush a liar.

  17. samiam60 says:

VF said this morning we should make a Liberal Miserable today.

Sorry it had to be you Rose what you are the only Light Skinned White Girl with an Accent we Got!

  18. Foxwood says:

    Lou Costello – “I’m a bad boy.”

  19. m2 says:

I don’t know what fox said but I think he’s leaving out the specifics. Glenn, Hannity and Rush haven’t covered this since the Repub took the Senate floor. They never said it wasn’t relating to the death panel of bureaucrats. They didn’t spend much time on it except to point out the totality of tyranny and corruption by the democrats who are not by Law able to write such a rule change. I don’t know if you feel it is the Left sources keeping this alive as a “rumor”, but the right haven’t been “ruminating” on it at all. If I felt what you said, that I was obsessed with the idea of the bill as unrepealable, I wouldn’t have said that Scott Brown was running on repealing the Bill. That is something Hannity and Rush have acknowledged within the last week. So you see, they don’t believe the bill is unrepealable. They know the Dems would hold Brown back should he win (ie. Not let him be the 41st vote)…

You should listen to Rush. You’d see how funny he is, and he’s nothing like what the Leftists fear you into abstaining from.

Anyway, the ‘rule’ change without the vote for ‘rule change’ is about as solidly corrupt this Democrat Party can get.

  23. samiam60 says:

Here it is to what you speak VF.

Thank you M2 for this insight and I am reposting it here from the last blog post.

For the record, when the R. Sen addressed this on the floor weeks ago (rule change), I had know it was in reference to the death panel of bureaucrats and never thought otherwise. And as a Rush fan, he didn’t fabricate anything different from the death panel of bureaucrats, and furthermore he didn’t spend more than 10 min. on the subject in totality.

I think you pretend to know what Rush is about Rose, but you should listen to him yourself before making definable assertions based on another person’s listening, be it Foxwood, or the Left.

That they defy the rules of the Senate and write in that about the death panel of bureaucrats should give any and every American a cold chill down their spine. Especially being there is no support at all for the totality of this “Bill”, by the people on the Left and Right, or even amongst the total whole of Democrats in D.C. (buy offs, closed doors, and 7 am votes on Christmas Eve.. Screams the monstosity and evil of this bill which they are not proud of.)

  24. rosehips says:

vf, I was disheartened when the news came on yesterday afternoon about the earthquake and at that time, as photos emerged of the widespread destruction, the Obama admin issued a statement that he “was monitoring” the situation and would offer aid if needed (or something like that.) I thought it was lame. It was already obvious that aid was needed IMMEDIATELY.

  25. Foxwood says:

    From Rush News:
    http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_011310/content/01125109.guest.html

You know, this is amazing, folks. I don’t know if you know this or not, but last night Martha Coakley, the Democrat candidate in Massachusetts, was in Washington for a fundraiser, and the fundraiser was basically put on for her by insurance company and pharmaceutical lobbyists. I’m going to comment on that later, ’cause people are asking, “What in the world are these two groups trying to help a Democrat get elected for and maintain this stupid Obamacare?” I’ll tell you what’s going on with that in just a second. But when she came out of a restaurant last night, she was followed by a report named John McCormack. He from the Weekly Standard. He tried to ask her a question, and somebody came and shoved him to the sidewalk into a metal railing, and he fell down on the sidewalk.

This is a taught tactic. Then the same person goes up and says, “Oh, my God somebody fell!” He goes down, helps the person up and then kept bumping the guy, the reporter, so he couldn’t get close to Coakley. Now, this was assault and battery. The video shows it. It was Michael Meehan, a Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee guy, “message expert.” He’s been imported at the last moment here to try to help out the Coakley campaign.

  45. rosehips says:

  50. rosehips says:

    Assault and Battery

Two separate offenses against the person that when used in one expression may be defined as any unlawful and unpermitted touching of another. Assault is an act that creates an apprehension in another of an imminent, harmful, or offensive contact. The act consists of a threat of harm accompanied by an apparent, present ability to carry out the threat. Battery is a harmful or offensive touching of another.

    http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Assault+and+Battery

  51. Foxwood says:

Rush don’t lie. His accuracy rating is 99.5%.

  52. rosehips says:

I don’t think it was assault because of the lack of apprehension in the reporter of an imminent, harmful, or offensive contact.

The hip check might qualify as battery.

  53. Foxwood says:

If I come to you, Rose and take my finger and poke you in the chest like I’m trying to make a point. That’s assault and battery.

  54. rosehips says:

  56. rosehips says:

  57. Foxwood says:

It was wrong for Meathead to do it. Why defend him?

  58. Foxwood says:

Ok… Still wrong and I believe wrong to take his defense.

  59. rosehips says:

and I don’t think the guy was wrong to try to protect the attorney general from an agressive reporter. I don’t think he tried to knock the guy down and he did help him up. He said he thought he was a Brown operative.
I just think calling it an attack is a bit of an exageration and I don’t even think the guy should be fired for the incident, or denied a position.

  60. Foxwood says:

I guarantee Meathead would have lived to do it once, if it were done to me.

  61. Foxwood says:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – More than a dozen U.S. state attorneys general visited Washington on Wednesday threatening to sue the U.S. government if the so-called “Cornhusker Kickback,” a special subsidy offered to Nebraska, is included in pen1ding healthcare reform legislation.

The subsidy, which was included in the Senate version of the bill, is “capricious and arbitrary treatment of Nebraska,” said South Carolina’s Republican Attorney General Henry McMaster, who has organized a group of 15 attorneys to pursue a lawsuit.

The group includes two Democrats, one from Oklahoma and one from American Samoa.

  86. LisaInTX says:

    From the Desk of:
    Steve Elliott, Grassfire Nation
we have identified six possible scenarios that could
    cause ObamaCare to be defeated.

I’ll start with the least likely…

    #6–Union blues
The left is nearly as angry as the Right, calling the Reid bill
a bailout for the insurance industry. The unions are upset
about the tax on their so-called “Cadillac” health care plans
and want that removed. The Left has held the coalition together
with a “live together, die alone” motto, but politics changes
with the wind. And the Left knows the winds are changing. I
list this first because it is the least likely. But it is
    still possible.

#5–One Democrat Senator can’t make it to the floor to vote.
Despite the backroom deals and dirty tricks, as we understand
it there will be one more final cloture vote in the Senate.
Rules require 60 votes to invoke cloture. If one Democrat
Senator can’t make it to the floor, for any reason (health,
accident, death etc.) they don’t have 60 votes.

    #4–The Cornhusker Kickback kicks back.
Arnold Schwarzenegger told California’s members of Congress
to vote NO unless their state also gets the Cornhusker
Kickback. Now Dems are scrambling to give every state a
kickback. The more talk about kickbacks and the more
uncomfortable everyone is with this entire fiasco.

    #3–Abortion issue divides Democrats.
Rep. Bart Stupak has already voiced his opposition to Nelson’s
compromise and says he has the votes to stop any abortion-
funding ObamaCare bill. An equal number of House Democrats
have vowed to torpedo any final bill that includes Stupak’s
amendment. One group must blink for ObamaCare to pass.

#2–Three House Democrats change their votes.
Abortion is just one of the issues dividing Democrats. Rep.
Cantor has identified 34 House Democrats who are facing a
very difficult vote based on three issues: abortion, Medicare
Advantage, and state budget crises. It is now an election year.
The pressure is building. If three members feel enough heat
to switch their votes, ObamaCare fails.

    #1–The Massachusetts Miracle.
The Bay State’s special election next week to fill the late
Sen. Kennedy’s seat is now a tossup in some polls, and
Republican candidate Scott Brown has pledged to be the
41st vote to block ObamaCare. If Brown is seated before
the final ObamaCare vote, game over. There is already
talk that if Brown wins, Democrats will stall his election
certification in order to keep him from casting the
    deciding vote.

The special election is next Tuesday (1/19), before any final
votes will be cast on ObamaCare. If a Republican takes Teddy
Kennedy’s seat, I say all bets are off. Democrats from
coast-to-coast will suddenly get a lot more nervous about
voting for ObamaCare. Unlike old king Belshazzar in the
book of Daniel, they won’t need a prophet to interpret the
“handwriting on the wall” — vote now for ObamaCare and
    get defeated in November.

  87. arlenearmy says:

Just about the only thing we can do is to vote the dems out in 2010, w/the hope that newly elected will reverse this monstrosity.

Of all the things in this country that we should have stability in, it should be healthcare. Doctors are already getting spooked ahead of the vote.

  88. VotingFemale says:

Hi belatedly Arlene! I wish we could get on the same schedule… darn it. I love chatting with you.
    All good points.

Also, your new blogpost is a very interesting read, girlfriend.

  89. Foxwood says:

Sieg Heil und Guten Morgan fellow unAmerican Nazis!
It’s time to unfurl the Confederate Swastika and fire the cannon!

  90. Foxwood says:

Rose, I’ve ran into people like Meathead, and taken care of them.

  91. VotingFemale says:

    Good Morning Everyone!

Martha Coakley <– a typical liberal rubber stamping hack who could likely lose the election.

DEMS are having a massive panic attack and now doing to Scott what they do to those they fear most… Palin.

We need a new poll… to gauge fear factor by quantizing the depths of Socialist-Rat vitriol from the Left as a measure of how bad they are doing against an opponent.

But they really cant use Sexism against him… so I expect them to go the Code Pink route to paint him as an national guard 'baby killing' conservative terrorist.

  92. Foxwood says:

Oh Look who’s on TV. Valarie Jarrett.

  93. VotingFemale says:

    Sarah Palin… Ms Hottie McAwesome

    Scott Brown… Mr Hottie McAwesome

    The Left is going INSANE

    aaaahahahahahahaha

btw, Lefties… Michelle O is butt u.g.l.y. who’s only claim to taste are her taste buds. judging by her expanding gut and butt… those buds get overtime use.

    …just sayin’

  94. VotingFemale says:

    Good Morning Foxwood!

I am running about a 15/20 minute DVR buffer lag here so I can fast forward through the commercials… Valerie Jarret has not shown up yet but was just announced she would… I will go fast forward up to it now…

marxist hen in the Fox house lol

  95. VotingFemale says:

    her voice is really irritating

  96. samiam60 says:

    Good Morning VF and Foxwood.

I did enjoy the Glenn Beck Sarah Palin interview last night.

    Your Thoughts on it?

  97. Foxwood says:

Hip check. Battery. Sue. Refused McComacks first amendment rights.

In Meatheads answer to why he did it, he only said it was and accident. He never said anything about “Harrasment” or “Aggresiveness” except on his part.

Looks to me Rose, Like he knew what he was doing and it WAS an attack.

  98. VotingFemale says:

    my analysis…

Jarret on Fox rolling out Tax on Financial Institutions

the WH is now scared sh!tless of the majority of Americans they have offended into a roiling rage with their Dictatorial Socialist Transformation Agenda to the point they are forced to go begging to FOXNews to get the word out to the Majority of People which chooses not to watch the Lame Stream Media at all.

Taxes on businesses get passed on to customers… another hidden tax… to pay for ObamaCare which is not financially feasible, as designed. And they cast the financial institutions who were strong armed by the Socialists’ Community Organizations Coalitions of Power to execute the Cloward – Piven Strategy to destroy the financial sector by forcing them into the high risk real estate loans which was the cause of the 2008/2009/2010 recession.

these socialist rats caused the recession and then blames their financial sector victims for.

    Can you spell Gall?

  99. Foxwood says:

    Morning Sami!

Just me, I thought Glenn was easy on her. It’s was like a love fest. I think she needs tougher questions from friends to get her used to what the Commie Press will give to her.

  100. samiam60 says:

Foxwood I was glad to see her catch a break and be able to speak freely on her thoughts and feelings concerning the issues we face. It was candid and polite and there is plenty of time for the lamestream to attack her.
    Glenn Beck is a gentleman.

  101. samiam60 says:

The Tea Party Factor is having a big effect on the overall population and is now snowballing as the election draws near. The Democrats are only just now beginning to see the reality of their deeds and the Fear is dripping from their brow.
As we suspected they underestimated the Power of We the People.
The Democrats became drunk with power these last three years and now their Hangover is about to begin.

  102. Foxwood says:

Yeah Sami, Your right there. The only freedom she’s had to speak her piece has been her book.

  103. samiam60 says:

I am full well expecting to see some Hilary Clinton outrage expressed in the coming months. Who knows, she may well help our cause.

  104. VotingFemale says:

    Good Morning Samiam!

I ran off and started working on a Jarrett blogpost

  105. VotingFemale says:

Bill O has been dishing the ‘tough love’ on Sarah Palin by the barrel… some say some of it is over the top. Sarah is guarded with Bill. Not so with Hannity… I saw in Sarah’s eyes during her first apparence on Hannity, a distinct level of affection for Sean.

I saw the Beck/Palin hour as an emotional spiritual patriot mind meld.

It is quite obvious to me… Glenn is head over heels in love with Sarah on many levels. It was a worship fest.

Beck was validating his views and feelings through her… seeking a kindred spirit. I saw Sarah take on the nurturing role but it was quite subtle.

    samiam60 says

    Good Morning VF and Foxwood.

I did enjoy the Glenn Beck Sarah Palin interview last night.

    Your Thoughts on it?

  106. Foxwood says:

It may be too soon, but I want to see her tough side.

  107. Foxwood says:

I thought Paytons mom was going to make home made jambalaya. She made it out of a box.

  108. VotingFemale says:

the tough side… it will be groomed over time with exposure to debating leftists.

    Foxwood says

It may be too soon, but I want to see her tough side.

  109. Foxwood says:

The 41 vote against this healthcare plan. I like that.

  110. Foxwood says:

It looks like Coakley will have to cheat to win this one.

  111. Foxwood says:

VF, Can you put in a proxy vote for Brown for me?

  112. samiam60 says:

I am hoping and praying for a Brown Victory in this election, however Brown has already won in many ways and has completely shaken the Democrats confidence.
They are running scared and all can see it.

  113. samiam60 says:

Glenn Beck does seem to have a crush on Sarah Palin or at least an extreme appreciation for all that she represents.
I think there are a whole lot of us men out there that feel the same way.

In the world of Politics Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air!

  114. VotingFemale says:

lol your wishes are reflected in my vote… rest assured! I WILL VOTE FOR SCOTT BROWN… hubs will too.

    Foxwood says

VF, Can you put in a proxy vote for Brown for me?

  115. VotingFemale says:

there is breaking info on Coakley… she has bribed union workers to protest for her…

she has asked as of last evening for Obama to fly to Boston and stump for her

The Coakley panic is so thick you need a chainsaw to cut through it…

I believe the DNC does their own secret polls to discover the true lay of the land… and they see as Scott victory on the way…

    PANIC!!!

  116. VotingFemale says:

if there are any New Black Panthers at my voting place… there will be videoing of their every move and word… bank on it.

  117. VotingFemale says:

it’s a component of the dynamic of a feminine politician which is both a strength and an issue of sexist attack. The irony is the majority o sexism is used by the so-called leftist feminists who put their marxist agenda ahead of the sin of sexism… just as leftist blacks give white socialists a pass on racism and who racially attacks conservatives blacks.

    samiam60 says

    Hello VF, Fox

VF – I tell you…. My lights went out in part of the basement and the furnace. Electrician came at a cost of millions and got all working but says I need my furnace man – sticky gas valve. Well, I’ll tell you, I’ve got a sticky gas valve myself, lol.

Next, the outlook mail on this computer is shot – got a blue screen this am. Have to go to upstairs computer to get mail. Border territorial about area where computer is. Call into computer people to move computer and set up elsewhere. I just can’t lift that cpu and I am not up to dealing with ANYTHING.

VF – that part native American blood you have – can you contact a spirit or something to give me some relief. Jaweh seems to be busy.

  119. Foxwood says:

I have to admit to a crush on the woman. But beyond that, she has my values.

  120. SamHenry says:

VF just got a desperate e-mail from OFA yesterday calling all storm troopers to go to Mass for door to door, etc. I really think that organization is illegal. I think any outside influence in a local election is illegal.

Great Blog post to day from one who is freezing and in the midst of writer’s block.

  121. Foxwood says:

I was just about to ask everyone where you’ve been SamH.

    Good morning.

  122. SamHenry says:

SamH has had some non-serious but frustrating as H… medical problems and has been in emerald city all day yesterday working on them. Was supposed to go back today when the furnace went out. I just love it. I don’t have to go to Florida to freeze.lol

  123. SamHenry says:

FOX – Thanks for missing the Little Old Lady, LOL.

CAT – where did you pounce to? I hope you are intoning some spirit or other on my behalf.

  124. samiam60 says:

Good Morning SamH good to see you.

Jaweh, will never leave you nor forsake you.

Sometimes when he feels far away I stop and look and guess what? It is me who has moved away 🙂

  125. SamHenry says:

Let’s not forget the damn health care – the Dems have not. They have scrapped plans for a joint meeting – they are doing a ping pong thing shooting it back and forth. Anything to take them out of the public gaze. Disgusting.

And Barney has been quiet for too long.

    There are other pot boilers.

The DHS and State will be busy trying to keep Hatians from coming to the US per usual only more so. There have been worries terrorists have been using it as a base. It is the 4th source of staging for illegal drugs.

They are trying to round up criminals, keep everyone from disease – monumental effort.

Clinton (big Bill) said he and others were making headway on doing things for Haiti when this happened – right Bill.

  126. SamHenry says:

Morning Sami – you are probably very right and what a beautiful way to put it.

I thought I had moved only the furniture LOL

  127. Foxwood says:

I’ll be out of pocket for a while. Should be back this afternoon.

  128. samiam60 says:

SamH this song is for you and Me!

  129. SamHenry says:

My brother called with a problem relaating to a document I scanned for him. Sami, I’ll brb for song.

  130. VotingFemale says:

    Good Morning Hard Luck Girl!

May mother earth’s spirit visit your sticky gas valve and sooth its furrowed brow…
