Palin gave tipsy Biden a lesson in rational energy policy thinking… (video)

joe biden gaff

What was Joe drinking before he went off on Sarah Palin? A dozen Solar Heated hot toddies?

Joe, who was obviously into his cups, uttered another of his nonsensical diatribes while trying to defend the moronic Energy Policy of the Obama Administration as compared to Sarah Palin’s Domestic Energy Policy.

The light weight has no business being the Vice President of the United States.

US Domestic energy development reduces dependence on Foreign Oil, creates domestic jobs, drive down the cost of energy which boosts economic growth, and strengthens US national security.

I mean, how hard is that to grasp?

Not hard… and I do not believe for one second that the quartet of Socialists, Obama, Biden, Pelosi, and Reid,  do not understand it and believe it. So… one is left with the question… What is in it for them to Block it?

To any reasonable person, it is a simple answer: The national economy must be disabled in order to fundamentally transform America. And transform it into what? A socialist, communist nation. There is no other explanation.

Sarah Palin and other leading Conservatives never said don’t develop alternate energy at the same time… but not in a total all in, right this second, approach while leaving the US at the mercy of an unstable Foreign Oil Market and supply. That is Economic and National Security Russian Roulette.

This is the insanity of Obama, Biden, Pelosi, and Reid… to gut development of domestic energy and send billions to South America for their use in developing their oil reserves and leave the country at the mercy of Foreign Oil Prices and unstable supplies.

These Idiots actually got elected… and people actually believe them. Says a lot for the power of Socialist Bull Crap applied to simple minded people, doesn’t it?

Sarah Palin’s Response to Biden’s apparently drunken gaff-athon:

Response to Vice President Biden’s Comments Today About My Position On Energy Independence

November 2, 2009 at 10:12am
by Sarah Palin

As the vice president knows, I have always advocated an all-of-the-above approach to American energy independence. Among other things, my alternative energy goal for Alaska sits at 50 percent because Alaska reached more than 20 percent during my term in office. The Obama-Biden administration, on the other hand, recently announced a renewable goal of only 25 percent. However, domestic drilling should remain a top priority in order to meet America’s consumption and security needs.

The vice president’s extreme opposition to domestic energy development goes all the way back to 1973 when he opposed the Alaska pipeline bill. As Ann Coulter pointed out, “Biden cast one of only five votes against the pipeline that has produced more than 15 billion barrels of oil, supplied nearly 20 percent of this nation’s oil, created tens of thousands of jobs, added hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and reduced money transfers to the nation’s enemies by about the same amount.”

This nonsensical opposition to American domestic energy development continues to this day. Apparently the Obama-Biden administration only approves of offshore drilling in Brazil, where it will provide security and jobs for Brazilians. This election is about American security and American jobs.

There’s one way to tell Vice President Biden that we’re tired of folks in Washington distorting our message and hampering our nation’s progress: Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman!

Of all people Joe Biden should know by now he bit off more than he can chew in attacking Sarah Palin.

His comments are nothing more than a continuation of his Gaft’s that have come to define him as Vice President.

Now see the NY (or was this at NJ? My wifi too slow on vids) is getting right for the Obama Socialist party (Democrat In Name Only), and even with the tentacle of vote fraud mafia they are worried. So what do they do to invoke the massive ball of hate their “base” thrives, sways to, and is enslaved under? Invoke the name Palin, of course!

If I were a DINO, I’d hope I’d still be as smart as I am now to be offended enough that my leaders feel I am too stupid to “understand” real world answers and instead auto-tune my “brainwash” receptors to trigger my vote response on the word ‘Palin’.

It’s terrible to see the way the Socialist party treat their collective mob…. As though they are too stupid to tie their own shoes.

Analysis: Anger, frustration fuel Election Day 2009
By Paul Steinhauser, CNN Deputy Political Director
    November 3, 2009 1:14 a.m. EST

Washington (CNN) — As voters across the country head to the polls Tuesday, one thing appears certain: Many of them are angry.

And that anger could shape the results of three of the most high-profile elections this year — gubernatorial battles in New Jersey and Virginia and the fight for an open seat in New York’s 23rd Congressional District.

National polls indicate that many voters are in a foul mood. The big question is whether that mood will continue into 2010, when the entire House of Representatives, more than a third of the Senate and more than a third of the governorships are up for grabs.

“We’re in the middle, I think, of a political rebellion going on in America,” House Minority Leader John Boehner said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “And this rebellion is by people who really have not been actively involved in the political process and they don’t really care if you’re a Democrat or a Republican. They want to see people who are going to stand up and protect the future for our kids and grandkids.”
Video: Key races in key states
    Video: Economy may sink Democrats

The victory by the grassroots on the right over the moderates and the Republican Party structure in New York 23 could foreshadow more fights ahead for the GOP, as the party tries to rebuild following election defeats in 2006 and 2008. But the energy currently on the right is powerful, and that could come in very handy in next year’s crucial elections.

Anger could also be a factor in New Jersey and Virginia, the only two states that hold gubernatorial contests in the year after a presidential election. For the past 32 years, the party that won the White House lost Virginia the next year. It’s been the same story in New Jersey for the past two decades. History may repeat itself in 2009.

“Right now it looks like Republicans and conservatives are angry and energized to vote in the midterms next year,” said Stuart Rothenberg, editor and publisher of the nonpartisan Rothenberg Political Report.

Anger is a major factor in the New York 23 race, which has grabbed national attention. The House seat in the district in northern New York state opened up after nine-term Republican Rep. John McHugh stepped down after being confirmed as Secretary of the Army.

Republicans have represented this area of the state since 1872. But in last year’s presidential election, President Obama edged out John McCain in the district.

Local Republican leaders picked state assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava as their nominee because they felt her moderate views would appeal to centrist Republicans, independents and even some Democrats. But the move sparked a revolt among many conservatives, who were angry with what they called Scozzafava’s liberal views on same-sex marriage, abortion, and on fiscal matters such as the federal stimulus. They backed Doug Hoffman, an accountant, who is running on the Conservative Party line.

Scozzafava suspended her campaign on Saturday after she nose-dived in local public opinion polls following a flood of support and contributions by some top conservative names and organizations for Hoffman.

Scozzafava then endorsed Bill Owens, the Democrat in the race, and campaigned for him on Monday.

In Virginia, the most recent polls suggest that the Republican candidate, Bob McDonnell, the state’s former attorney general, holds a double-digit lead over Democratic candidate Creigh Deeds, a lawmaker from the rural western part of the state. While the battle for Virginia will be won or lost because of state issues and the candidates themselves, the contest can also be partially seen as an early test on Obama and his policies.

“The race in Virginia is partially about the broad national environment, how the two political parties are doing, and how the president is doing,” Rothenberg said.

McDonnell’s campaign appears to be trying to nationalize the contest by linking Deeds to the Democrats who control the White House and Congress. A McDonnell television ad says: “Creigh Deeds supports Washington’s job-killing policies.”

At a debate in September, Deeds was asked by the moderator if he was a “Barack Obama Democrat.”

“I would try to escape that by saying I’m a Creigh Deeds Democrat,” responded Deeds, who also acknowledges that “a lot of what’s going on in Washington has made it very tough.”

If Republicans win back the governor’s office, they “could now show they are alive and well and they are competitive in Virginia, but it also sends a national message about the Republicans’ ability to come back in the Obama era,” said Mark Rozell, a professor of public policy at George Mason University in Virginia.

Democrats also control the other governor’s seat up this year, in New Jersey, where Gov. Jon Corzine is fighting for a second term and for his political life.

Corzine trailed his Republican challenger, former federal prosecutor Chris Christie, in the polls during the summer but has pulled even in just about all recent surveys.

The polls suggest Corzine has increased his backing among fellow Democrats, but growing support for independent candidate Chris Daggett may also be a major contributing factor.

Anti-Beck, Dobbs Efforts Dropped by Church Coalition

    By Jeffrey Lord on 11.3.09 @ 6:09AM

    News. Lots of it.

Glenn Beck news, Lou Dobbs news, Rush news, Fox news, George Soros news and yes, you knew this had to be in the mix somewhere: ACORN news.

Glenn Beck and Lou Dobbs fans, your prayers have been answered.

Links to campaigns supporting the removal of both men from their respective television shows have been dropped by So We Might See, the increasingly controversial interfaith religious group funded in part by the George Soros-backed Media Democracy Fund. One of those campaigns (targeting Beck) was led by Color of Change, the group co-founded by now-resigned Obama White House aide Van Jones.

    More news.

The petition to the FCC citing Rush Limbaugh for hate speech has lost yet another supposed religious sponsor from So We Might See following the revelations here in this space, making this the third church in a row to reject the petition in as many weeks.

    And still more news.

It turns out two of the funders for the Media Democracy Fund campaign targeting Fox News and talk radio personalities are — wait for it — ACORN money pots.

    And yes, more news still.

    The Catholic Bishops are unhappy.

    The Methodists are out.

The Disciples of Christ just said no.

The United Church of Christ is furious.

And the National Hispanic Media Conference, which was the vehicle used to launch this effort to silence talk radio stars and Fox News personalities in the name of hate speech, is, surprise, surprise — now revealed to be fueled by money from the same George Soros-connected Media Democracy Fund that is funding the United Church of Christ’s Office of Communications, Inc.. Which in turn is using its Soros-tainted money to back the Soros-connected NMHC FCC petition drive.

    Did I mention ACORN?

It is a comment which, due to its apparent lack of meaning relative to what it follows,[1] seems absurd to the point of being humorous or confusing, as in the following interchange:

Q: How many Communists does Obama employ to help him fundamentally transform America?

A: Sarah Palin wrote a book to make money. She can see Russia from her house. Todd Palin quit his job. Levi Johnston said: blah blah blah…

We noticed by Sherry Hackett ( Buddy Hacketts widow)

    “WE NOTICED”
    President Obama:
Today I read of your administrations’ plan to re-define September 11 as a National Service Day. Sir, it’s time we had a talk………
During your campaign, Americans watched as you made mockery of our tradition of standing and crossing your heart when the Pledge of Allegiance was spoken. You, out of four people on the stage, were the only one not honoring our tradition.

    YES, “We noticed.”
During one of your many speeches, Americans heard you say that you intended to visit all 57 states.
We all know that Islam, not America has 57 states.

    YES, “We noticed.”
When President Bush leaned over at Ground Zero and gently placed a flower on the memorial, while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto the pile without leaning over

    YES, “We noticed.”
Every time you apologized to other countries for America ‘s position on an issue we have wondered why you don’t share our pride in this great country. When you have heard foreign leaders berate our country and our beliefs, you have not defended us. In fact, you insulted the British Crown beyond belief.

    YES, “We noticed.”
When your pastor of 20 years, “God-damned America ” and said that 9/11 was ” America ‘s chickens coming home to roost” and you denied having heard recriminations of that nature, we wondered how that could be. You later disassociated yourself from that church and Pastor Wright because it was politically expedient to do so

    YES, “We noticed.”
When you announced that you would transform America , we wondered why. With all her faults, America is the greatest country on earth. Sir, KEEP THIS IN MIND, “if not for America and the people who built her, you wouldn’t be sitting in the White House now.” Prior to your election to the highest office in this Country, you were a senator from Illinois and from what we can glean from the records available, not a very remarkable one.

    YES, “We noticed.”
All through your campaign and even now, you have surrounded yourself with individuals who are basically unqualified for the positions for which you appointed them. Worse than that, the majority of them are people who, like you, bear no special allegiance, respect, or affection for this country and her traditions.

    YES, “We noticed.”
You are 9 months into your term and every morning millions of Americans wake up to a new horror heaped on us by you. You seek to saddle working Americans with a health care/insurance reform package that, along with cap and trade, will bankrupt this nation.

    YES, “We noticed.”
We seek, by protesting, to let our representatives know that we are not in favor of these crippling expenditures and we are labeled “un-American”, “racist”, “mob”. We wonder how we are supposed to let you know how frustrated we are. You have attempted to make our protests seem isolated and insignificant. Until your appointment, Americans had the right to speak out.

    YES, “We noticed.”
On September 11, 2001 there were no Republicans or Democrats, only Americans. And we all grieved together and helped each other in whatever way we could. The attack on 9/11 was carried out because we are Americans.

    And YES, “We noticed.”
There were many of us who prayed that a s a black president you could help unite this nation. In six months you have done more to destroy this nation than the attack on 9/11. You have failed us.

    YES, “We noticed.”
September 11 is a day of remembrance for all Americans. You propose to make 9/11 a “National Service Day”. While we know that you don’t share our reverence for 9/11, we pray that history will report your proposal as what it is…a disgrace.

    YES, “We noticed.”
You have made a mockery of our Constitution and the office that you hold. You have embarrassed and slighted us in foreign visits and policy.

    YES, “We noticed..”
We have noticed all these things. We will deal with you. When Americans come together again, it will be to remove you from office

Analysis: Anger, frustration fuel Election Day 2009
    Posted: November 3rd, 2009 09:54 AM ET

From CNN Deputy Political Director Paul Steinhauser

As voters across the country head to the polls Tuesday, one thing appears certain: Many of them are angry.
Washington (CNN) – As voters across the country head to the polls Tuesday, one thing appears certain: Many of them are angry.

And that anger could shape the results of three of the most high-profile elections this year – gubernatorial battles in New Jersey and Virginia and the fight for an open seat in New York’s 23rd Congressional District.

It was the largest error he has ever made… and it brought the sleeping giant into full wakeness and filled him with the determination, resolve, and means to shut Obama and his machine down cold.

It happens a step at a time… like the elections today and the campaigns leading up to them.

The majority of Americans have always been the boss… and they are now fully awake and focused on Obama and his machine like a laser beam… marching into his face to throw him and all his goons the hell out of power and revelancy.

Obama has done what Pearl Harbor did in 1941. The Response is unstoppable.

GOP congresswoman says health care bill scarier than terrorism

WASHINGTON (CNN) – A Republican congresswoman said Monday on the House floor that she believes Americans have more to fear from the Democrats’ health care bill “than we do from any terrorist right now in any country.”

Rep. Virginia Foxx of North Carolina said people in her home district tell her they are frightened of the health care bill expected to be debated by the House as soon as this week.

“I share that fear, and I believe they should be fearful,” Foxx said, “And I believe the greatest fear that we all should have to our freedom comes from this room – this very room – and what may happen later this week in terms of a tax increase bill masquerading as a health care bill.

“I believe we have more to fear from the potential of that bill passing than we do from any terrorist right now in any country.”

The Democratic National Committee immediately criticized Foxx, calling her comments “outrageous” and comparing them to Sarah Palin’s previous warning about death panels in regard to a Democratic proposal for voluntary counseling on living wills and other end-of-life decisions.

“Sadly, these inexplicable comments represent what is now the mainstream of a Republican Party that has been hijacked by an extremist far right-wing faction that craves ideological purity, will purge dissent, and offer nothing but reactionary opposition to progress,” DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse said in a statement.

Aaron Groen, a spokesman for Foxx, said she was speaking “off the cuff” in her comments in the House chamber.

At a later news conference, House Republican Leader John Boehner of Ohio responded to a question about Foxx’s remarks by saying that “members are entitled to their opinions.”

When pressed, Boehner shrugged, then turned to House Republican Conference Chairman Mike Pence, R-Indiana, and said: “This is when they get the Boehner shrug.”

Pence later told CNN he had no comment on Foxx’s “particular turn of phrase, but I will say, around Indiana, out around this country, people are very, very concerned about an effort to launch a new government run insurance plan.”

“I think that people in Washington sometimes don’t always get how concerned the American people are about borrowing and spending and the deficits,” Pence said. “It is generating strong emotions. Members of Congress are not immune from those strong emotions, but I have to say that the people’s House ought to resonate with what’s happening in the hearts and minds of the American people.”

Election Journal is reporting that the NJ Democratic party has employed criminal street gangs for their GOTV efforts.

The officer, who’s name we are with holding, specifically heard the men discussing that he was a police officer and that they now know where he lives. The officer confronted the men and they took off. He contacted the local police who responded and caught up with them and about a dozen other men a few blocks away. According to the police report, the men were known criminals and when asked why they were in the neighborhood they stated they were “campaigning for the Democratic Party.”

Stay vigilant today and stay safe. Carry your cameras.

According to Fund, SEIU Local 32BJ, which is headquartered in Philadelphia but maintains an office in Newark, is “heavily involved” in the New Jersey gubernatorial election. The local’s political director, Peter Colavito, is a former political chief for ACORN, Fund says.

New York’s Working Families Party also has “moved into” New Jersey, he reports. The Working Families Party has very close ties to Acorn, an organization notorious for its labyrinthine network of affiliates.

In October, The New York Times reported that, before becoming White House political director, Patrick Gaspard “worked with ACORN in New York to set up the Working Families political party and sat on the party’s board,” along with ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis.

After a flurry of stimulus spending, questionable projects pile up
    By: Susan Ferrechio
    Chief Congressional Correspondent
    November 3, 2009

The $787 billion stimulus bill was passed in February and was promised as a job saver and economy booster. Here is where some of the money went:

    – $300,000 for a GPS-equipped helicopter to hunt for radioactive rabbit droppings at the Hanford nuclear reservation in Washington state.

    – $30 million for a spring training baseball complex for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies.

    – $11 million for Microsoft to build a bridge connecting its two headquarter campuses in Redmond, Wash., which are separated by a highway.

    – $430,000 to repair a bridge in Iowa County, Wis., that carries 10 or fewer cars per day.

    – $800,000 for the John Murtha Airport in Johnstown, Pa., serving about 20 passengers per day, to build a backup runway.

    – $219,000 for Syracuse University to study the sex lives of freshmen women.

    – $2.3 million for the U.S. Forest Service to rear large numbers of arthropods, including the Asian longhorned beetle, the nun moth and the woolly adelgid.

    – $3.4 million for a 13-foot tunnel for turtles and other wildlife attempting to cross U.S. 27 in Lake Jackson, Fla.

    – $1.15 million to install a guardrail for a persistently dry lake bed in Guymon, Okla.

    – $9.38 million to renovate a century-old train depot in Lancaster County, Pa., that has not been used for three decades.

    – $2.5 million in stimulus checks sent to the deceased.

    – $6 million for a snow-making facility in Duluth, Minn.

    – $173,834 to weatherize eight pickup trucks in Madison County, Ill.

    – $20,000 for a fish sperm freezer at the Gavins Point National Fish Hatchery in South Dakota.

    – $380,000 to spay and neuter pets in Wichita, Kan.

    – $300 apiece for thousands of signs at road construction sites across the country announcing that the projects are funded by stimulus money.

    – $1.5 million for a fence to block would-be jumpers from leaping off the All-American Bridge in Akron, Ohio.

    – $1 million to study the health effects of environmentally friendly public housing on 300 people in Chicago.

    – $356,000 for Indiana University to study childhood comprehension of foreign accents compared with native speech.

    – $983,952 for street beautification in Ann Arbor, Mich., including decorative lighting, trees, benches and bike paths.

    – $148,438 for Washington State University to analyze the use of marijuana in conjunction with medications like morphine.

    – $462,000 to purchase 22 concrete toilets for use in the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri

    – $3.1 million to transform a canal barge into a floating museum that will travel the Erie Canal in New York state.

    – $1.3 million on government arts jobs in Maine, including $30,000 for basket makers, $20,000 for storytelling and $12,500 for a music festival.

    – $71,000 for a hybrid car to be used by student drivers in Colchester, Vt., as well as a plug-in hybrid for town workers decked out with a sign touting the vehicle’s energy efficiency.

    – $1 million for Portland, Ore., to replace 100 aging bike lockers and build a garage that would house 250 bicycles.

Woman calls 911 to report herself as drunk driver
    (AP) – 20 hours ago

NEILSVILLE, Wis. — The call came into the 911 dispatcher: “I don’t want to hurt anybody. I’m drunk.” And with that, Mary Strey, 49, of Granton, reported herself as a drunken driver about three miles northeast of Neilsville in central Wisconsin.

Clark County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Jim Backus said Monday that Strey’s call on Oct. 24 led deputies to cite her for misdemeanor drunken driving with a blood-alcohol level double the legal limit to drive. She makes her first court appearance Dec. 10.

Backus said drunken drivers reporting themselves is rare.

In the 911 call, Strey said she wanted to report a drunken driver and the dispatcher asked if she was behind the suspect vehicle. “I am them,” Strey said. She then followed the dispatcher’s advice to pull over and turn on her flashers, telling him she had been “drinking all night long.”

It was unclear if Strey has hired an attorney yet.

Tea Party Patriots Operation House Call

For the past several weeks Tea Party Patriots have been working on
Operation House Call. Last week TPP decided to begin with the 13
Senators this Tuesday the 3rd and the 52 Blue Dogs in Congress on the
4th. Freedom Works, Americans for Prosperity have agreed to support
and contact their members on this effort. In addition and interview
with a Washington based group named Concerned Women of America will be
conducted tomorrow and placed on their radio rotation as well as
information on their Tea Party Page. This group has been in Washington
for almost twenty years and has their own lobby team in place.

Currently TPP has approximately 25 people attending for Tuesday and
more coming in for Wednesday. Many will stay to work with Bachmann on
the 5th. This is a three phase attack designed to take place at the
same time. Individuals are requested to begin calling Senators at
1:30p.m. on Tuesday. If lines are busy then send emails and keep
trying to call until you get through. On Wednesday calling will begin
at 11:30a.m. and continue through the day.

TPP asks that you please forward this message to all of your members
and friends and any group you may belong. After Friday offices are
    planning
for Bachmann. TPP has kept this under wraps until everything
was in place and they are not planning for this. Thank you for your

    Wow, I gotta read this!

  113. arlenearmy says:

ooooooooooooooooo…. I bet Dede is gonna get pissed off at Rush. I failed to turn on Rush for past couple of days cause I been listening to all sorts of news.

  114. arlenearmy says:

Speaking of peta … they best keep close watch on Bo that WH dog… cause if republicans win all 3, that dog is gonna catch hell tonite. Obama’s gonna get pissed!

  115. VotingFemale says:

Moderates fail to grasp a reality…

These are desperate times… the country is in the grasps of a communist takeover.

Speaking in pastels is death to our liberty until this danger is over.

I strongly suggest all moderates take stock in the reality we are living today.

Obama brought this to us… and his communism will own us all if not stopped and defeated.

Moderates not understanding this will be bitterly disappointed as Reagan Conservatives Sweep the political landscape and purge them from the herd.

In kinder gentler times I have been moderate. That is the past. And I was screwed over.

No More Moderation for this Girl!

Not Now, Not This Time, Not Ever Again.

  116. VotingFemale says:

Hey Obama? BO is wearing a wire.

    just sayin’ 😉

You think the Secret Service at the White House do not see you for what your are?

    Then you are dreaming, dude.

  118. Foxwood says:

Hey Arlene! Hope you liked that one. All of the Commie media is going nuts over it.

VF said, “the country is in the grasps of a communist takeover.”

Over my dead body. This will not happen without a fight from me!

  119. samiam60 says:

Betcha Obama is chain smoking today.

    Ahahahahhahahaha

  120. Foxwood says:

You made my day Sami! I’ll have the news on tonight, for sure… Maybe a drink or three… I’m thinking this is going to be a good night.

  121. arlenearmy says:

    SamI
Obama’s probably chain smoking both brands. The hell w/those patches & chewing gum. And I bet Corzine is on pins & needles. Did you see the sweat on his brow?

If New Jersey wins,I will send a fat check to Dick Morris, as he predicted Christi would win.

  122. VotingFemale says:

    From Sarah Palin today:

It’s Imperative That We Exercise Our Right To Vote Today
    Today at 8:34am
“…the right which woman needed above every other, the one indeed which would secure to her all the others, was the right of suffrage.”

Susan B. Anthony used those words to describe the cause she spent her life fighting for: the right of an American woman to cast a ballot for the candidate of her choice. Because of Susan B. Anthony’s tireless efforts and the courage and dedication of countless others, millions of American women will head to the polls today to exercise their right to vote.

When we consider the sacrifices made to give us this right, there is simply no excuse not to vote.

Today, the eyes of the nation are drawn in particular to the three big elections occurring on the east coast. New Jersey and Virginia will be electing new governors, and the 23rd Congressional District of New York will be sending a new representative to Washington D.C. The choices are clear in all three races.

In New York’s 23rd Congressional District race, Doug Hoffman represents the return of the ordinary citizen-politician who is dedicated to bringing fiscal sanity back to Washington, D.C. Doug’s message of cutting spending, lowering taxes, and ending the outrageous growth in the size and scope of the federal government has resonated throughout his district and the country. Voting for Doug Hoffman will send an important message to the powers that be: no more politics as usual.

The governor’s race in New Jersey is a referendum on the failed fiscal policies of the state’s current governor. New Jersey suffers under the highest tax burden in the nation – a burden which has caused many New Jerseyans to leave their home state for better economic prospects elsewhere. Chris Christie is dedicated to ending the reckless spending, the tax hikes, and the corruption that has plagued New Jersey for far too long. A vote for Chris Christie as the next governor of New Jersey will help to lead this great state – “The Crossroads of the Revolution” – back to prosperity.

In Virginia, Bob McDonnell’s commitment to lower taxes and fiscal responsibility make him the common sense choice in the governor’s race. If Bob’s honorable military service and track record as Virginia’s Attorney General are any indications of how he will handle the governorship, then it is safe to say that Virginians have an easy choice to make today.

Candidates like Doug Hoffman, Chris Christie, and Bob McDonnell represent common sense answers to the troubling economic questions facing our nation. They are a vote for fiscal sanity and for leaving our children an American future as bright and as promising as the one our parents left for us.

Please take time today to exercise the right that so many people fought to secure for us. In considering these east coast races, it occurred to me that Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and so many of the women who fought to give future generations the right to vote hailed from these states.

Vote today in honor of our past and with hope for our future.

    – Sarah Palin

It’s a LOW voter turnout. Here in VA. Yes.Mcdonell will win but a low voter turnout means that ppl like ME! are disgusted.

Excuse my French but maybe Mcdonell should’ve accepted Sarah Palin’s help.

Beyond Tuesday’s Results, Republicans Facing Long-Term Decline

  132. VF, Virginia needs to learn. I love the State but they are late bloomers.

Sarah Palin is a class A act. Bob Mcdonell looks/looked like a good ole boy by turning her down.

Look at how much she has helped other candidates.

I’m telling ya~ Sarah is a blessing. Both parties are learnin’ not to mess with her.

White House Sees ‘Ramifications’ for 2010 in New York Congressional Race

The conservative rebellion against a moderate Republican candidate for Congress in upstate New York has “ramifications” for the 2010 elections, the White House said Tuesday, while dismissing as “navel-gazing” any speculation about the impact of the Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial races.

The Obama administration is reluctant to draw any lessons from Tuesday’s elections — Democrat Creigh Deeds is far behind Republican Bob McDonnell in polls ahead of the Virginia governor’s race; Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine is in a tight race for re-election against Chris Christie in New Jersey; and Democrat Bill Owens is trailing his opponent in a New York special election for Congress.

As Republicans have begun to crow about the positive implications for them any GOP wins might carry, the White House is arguing the elections mean very little — though President Obama or Vice President Biden actively campaigned for the Democrat in all three of those races.

“I know there’s a great cottage industry in this lovely town that looks at what happens today and sees what it portends for next year,” White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Tuesday. “I don’t believe that local elections in Virginia and New Jersey portend a lot about legislative success or political success in the future. I just don’t.”

But Gibbs was willing to acknowledge that the White House has some interest in the special election for New York’s 23rd Congressional District seat.

“I do think there are interesting tidbits that we see coming out of New York 23,” he said.

Gibbs’ remarks were meant more as a warning to the Republican Party than Democrats, however.

In that race, Republican Party candidate Dede Scozzafava was effectively forced out of the race by the surging candidacy of third-party conservative Doug Hoffman — whose campaign was buoyed by endorsements from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, other prominent conservatives and grassroots activists. Gibbs picked up on the narrative Tuesday that this scenario could repeat itself in other districts in 2010, spelling trouble for other moderate Republicans.

“I think there are a host of primaries that will affect 2010 next year that pit moderate Republican candidates and conservative Republican candidates,” Gibbs said. “I think many in the Republican Party hung out a sign … that moderates need not apply.

“I do think that has ramifications for next year,” he added.

Gibbs, though, dismissed a question on why the White House intervened to help convince Scozzafava to endorse Owens. White House Political Director Patrick Gaspard reportedly intervened to help Scozzafava make the decision that has been roundly criticized by Republican Party operatives and politicians.

“I think that what … the former Republican nominee decided was — and talked to, I’m sure, both Republicans and Democrats both in New York and nationally about who she thought was best suited to carry on the things that she cared about and believed in — she decided that that candidate was a Democrat,” Gibbs said.

Though the White House downplays the rest of Tuesday’s elections, it has invested presidential time and resources in all three of the major races.

Biden campaigned for Owens on Monday. Obama has made several trips to New Jersey to rally support for Corzine and try to motivate his supporters to the polls. Obama also traveled to Virginia last week for Deeds but did not return.

If Democrats lose two of the three big contests, it raises questions not only about their chances for retaining or picking up seats in the 2010 mid-term elections but also about the willingness of moderates to continue to support the president’s agenda in the year ahead.

“A victory in one state would reverse a troubling trend line for the GOP and would give the party momentum heading into 2010. The RGA winning both states would be devastating to Democrats,” the Republican Governors Association said in a memo.

Historically, the off-year elections are inconsistent predictors of the midterms. Republican wins in the 1993 off-year elections preceded big Republican wins in Congress in 1994. But, as Gibbs noted, Democrats won in 2001 but it didn’t do them much good in Congress the following year.

Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, said Tuesday’s races are by no means a “referendum” on Obama. The only real presidential referendum comes in 2012, he noted. But he said the president has nevertheless inserted himself into these races and that there may be lessons to glean from the results Tuesday night.

“He’s very much a factor,” Sabato said.

  136. arlenearmy says:

Hey folks.. I just heard on the news that democrats are literally dragging folk out their houses to vote in New Jersey.

    Obama is getting veryyyyyyyyyyyy desperate.

  137. VF, They are saying in VA that even Democrats did not turn out to save Deeds. Also! VA. Dems are disgusted or getting disgusted with Barry.

How long before Hillary dumps Barry?? I say… not long! He is sending her all over but not anyplace where she can make a difference. Like the mdl east.

You know Hillary is not happy, but will she have the guts to quit before the ship, fully goes down. I doubt it.

  138. Arlene! That’s hysterical!!

They are dragging them out,Here too.

  139. arlenearmy says:

    Yeah… Susan!!

And I think I saw Doug Wilder pix on Foxnews. I think he is gonna give an analysis of the voting results.

Wilder was America’s 1st black governor. He was democrat governor of Virginia who bucked Obama. He did NOT endorse Deeds, even though Obama tried to twist arms. Obama was trying to use Wilder to deliver up black folks for Deeds.

Also Pat Cadell said that black folks are trying steal votes thru absentee ballots in New Jersey.

  140. Arlene,

Doug Wilder is actually popular here. He is more of an independent. Conservatives like him.

Him not backing Deeds spoke volumes but trust me! Both candidates in Virginia were useless, this year.

A lot of ppl just did not vote.

  141. samiam60 says:

Obama gonna kick that dog tonight and we will have the first flying White House Dog.

Hey Barry, every dog has his day, bucko!

  142. Arlene, I really wish that I could vote in NJ. That governor, needs to go-

I think that every election should be like voting for the president. Let us all take a shot.

I want a shot at Chris Dodd & Bawney Fwank. Puhaleeeezze!

Not to mention. Soldiers are dying & he flip flops.Actually…. BHO does, NOTHING! He is a lame duck.

I hope that Leftist Ghetto at iReport has a rash of iTrolls going so postal over this night they have to ban a battalion of them.

That is what happened to Davidjw…

The 9/12 DC march drove him so far over the edge that he self-destructed like a suicide bomber on 9/13.

  232. samiam60 says:

Susan what will CNN do when they run out of libs?

I gotta feeling were going to see more and more libs getting their eyes opened and going center stage and Independent just to save face.

  233. LisaInTX says:

    Hi Tellit!

This is a plunge into the very heart of the Communist Party with the Reagan Conservative Sword.

The will never be the same after this night.

Their Chosen One has been gang raped by We the People.

  241. tellitlikeitis says:

This night is a victory for us patriots! We are winning!!! We need to finish the job in 2010!!! Just say no to socialism and just say yes to capitalism and freedom!

  242. samiam60 says:

Susan the exposure Obama has gotten as a Socialist/Marxist/Commie is bringing down the whole Progressive Movement. The libs on this blog have even run and hid themselves in shame.

I dare say the Liberals will soon be a very small minority in this Country

We The People have taken back our Country !

  243. LisaInTX says:

  248. Lisa, I wonder if Corzione will try to smother his own face with a pillow tonight?! lol~ My gawd! he & his thugs practically held ppl at gunpoint. Dragging them out of their homes & all.

  249. tellitlikeitis says:

I am so happy and so encouraged now! It’s like I have been injected with new life! This is incredible! Truly incredible! This is huge! A Republican win in a very blue state!! Obama has got to be shitting bricks tonight! I think this will be the death nail for the health care bill!!! Wahooooooo!

  250. samiam60 says:

  251. LisaInTX says:

    Sami
LOL….and you are cracking me up too…hahahaa

    VF And Tellit
Right on girlfriend and boyfriend!!! They dared state that Conservatives were dead!! And then ARROGANTLY insult and degrade us….Well here is TEA in their eye!!!

This is just the beginning and we all need to stay on top of our Rep’s and HOLD them accountable to We The People, not to the party of which they belong…..

  252. Tellit,A Republican winning in NJ is MAJOR!!! Especially since Barry kept going up there. Of course Barry never works. He thinks campaigning is his only job. Oh! and going on talk shows & schmoozing with his hollyweird friends. What a life!!

    Many of us are struggling.

  253. LisaInTX says:

    Susan
We can ONLY hope he does!! lol….I’ve heard the horror that man has done to his state….WOW…..At least the people woke up and decided they were tired of being taxed to death and lied too…..GOOD FOR THEM!!!

Christy has got his job cut out for him and he better mean what he says and do what he promises to do!!!

  254. Lisa, sooooo true! These days party doesn’t mean sh*t!

Call me a tea party independent. Our forefathers/ancestors had it right. I admire their passion. They took no BS!

  255. LisaInTX says:

Good night everyone….I know we will sleep with REAL hope in our hearts tonight for the first time in over a year……

  256. Lisa,NJ has had soooo much corruption with Corzine. He’s a Bozo. A thug & he’s FIRED!!!!

I think Christy is a good choice. I have confidence in him.

  257. tellitlikeitis says:

This has given me new life and renewed my optimism. We are winning and the population is waking up!!! Obama is so arrogant he will blow off the recent election results. Good! He will do this at the peril of his beloved party.

  258. LisaInTX says:

    Susan
You are right on!! Party doesn’t MAKE the person….
We are battling Americanisum versus Communism STRAIGHT UP! That the commies have infiltrated BOTH parties is something that needs to be addressed and REMOVED by BOTH!!!! Starting ASAP!!!!

  259. LisaInTX says:

This is no longer Republican versus Democrat…..BOTH parties are so screwed up NEITHER have a clue what they stand for anymore……but I think they are about to get a grand lesson and MORE heads are gonna roll soon!!…LOL

    Night y’all

  260. Lisa, agreed. We the people need to keep ridin’ their useless azzes.

I saw Glenn Beck, live & he stressed that both parties want to keep us divided. It’s our job to stay united & do what is the best for our country. This however does not include useless libs who hate America,it’s traditions, history & freedom(s). America is currently under assult by ireport/CNN/MSNBC libs.

  261. arlenearmy says:

Its been a good nite yall ! Corzine looked all dejected, while Christi looked like the man in charge.

The main thing is that our victory in New Jersey sucked the wind out of the liberals. New Jersey was what Obama really wanted to win.

I also heard that Hoffman called Owens to concede. I still think Hoffman did darn good.

  262. samiam60 says:

Good Morning my Fellow Patriots 🙂

    America has turned a corner.

It is a new day filled with a new hope for all of us.

    The sleeping Giant is Awake.

How’s your big head this morning Barrack? lol

    Your Ego has landed. hahahahahaha

  263. samiam60 says:

This on is for you VF and all you do for all of us:

  264. Foxwood says:

There was a shot heard across the country. It’s called freedom!

Sieg Heil und Guten Morgan fellow unAmerican Nazis!
It’s time to unfurl the Confederate Swastika and fire the cannon!

  265. Foxwood says:

    Good morning, Sami!

  266. Foxwood says:

I would have liked to see Hoffman win, but it was still a good night. Obutthole had a bad night and I like it!

  267. Foxwood says:

I wonder how many lefty losers have read our little party last night?

  268. samhenry says:

    Morning FOX, SAMI –

The liberal media’s assessment of last night’s wins in VA and NJ is that it really doesn’t mean anything significant.

It will be an even tougher fight now that we have disturbed the hornet’s nest. The Obama machine lost this round. They will be pulling out the stops to make sure it does not happen again.

I wrote a blogpost this AM about this. Best love,

    SH

  269. VotingFemale says:

    Good Morning FOX, Samiam! SamHenry!

It is a Better Day In America!

Did someone bother to tell Obama he lost VA and NJ? What with him “watching sports last night and all… yawn”

    right, Obama You asshat!

    HAHAHAHAHA

  270. Foxwood says:

Good morning SamH! I’ll check out your blog when I get on the road today. Looks like it’s going to be a good day!
