Last night Glen Beck began referring to the Main Stream Media as the Fringe Media. Based upon the latest Cable News ratings shown below, FNC has captured 50% of the viewing audience and if we can make it 51% the MSM will truly be the fringe.

I think it would be a very affective tactic if everyone on Free Republic followed Glen’s lead and began to refer to the MSM as the Fringe Media. Imagine the stigma they would have to deal with if they were no longer known as the “Main Stream”.
OMGbama and his socialist media pals… Keystone Cops come to mind. Good for a laugh if it weren’t so serious. American Health Care is too important to ever let Socialists get their claws into it.
The coming Fringe Media’s 2010 Election Coverage will be a HOOT as the Congressional Socialists get the Political Marie Antoinette Treatment.
There’s Van Jones — to the fringe media this was barely a story at all. And even then, it was disconnected from anything else. He was just the green job guy who’s a 9/11 “Truther.” He didn’t even know what he was signing and why would anyone care about attacking the poor man who’s just trying to create safe, effective, clean energy jobs?
There was the stimulus bill. My question was: Who wrote this thing? We found out and told you: It was the Apollo Alliance — a progressive, George Soros-funded, extreme left-wing organization. Harry Reid admitted to the nation — no, actually, he thanked the Apollo Alliance for their help.
And the difference between the real FOX Coverage and the coverage from the Fringe Media?
In some completely unrelated stories, we’ve told you about the ACORN corruption, which has been very evident this past week. And the fringe media has made this into a story that they’re just touching on: Just a few bad workers and not massive fraud on the American taxpayers — let alone the power that they hold.
And, we’ve told you that there are radicals — communist, Marxists and revolutionaries — all around the president.
Speaking as to further evidence the Fringe Media places themselves on the fringe of the American Mainstream… their coming ‘NON-COVERAGE’ of the pending JEFF JONES Story… will be like fringe hanging from your cut-off jeans when the real story will be covered by FOX and Conservative Bloggers and no doubt, Charlie Gibson will respond with Who is Jeff Jones?
There’s someone else that we’ve introduced to you that no one else is talking about, which in a few minutes, will be mind-boggling to you. And that’s why I think it’s time to reintroduce you to him. He was a Weather Underground founder — no, not William Ayers — the other Weather Underground founder: Jeff Jones.
Remember the Weather Underground bombed the Pentagon and police stations among other things, not to stop the war in Vietnam, but to collapse the American system. These were people who came right from the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). Whenever you see that word “democratic” and it’s coming from a group of ’60s radicals: run for your life! Literally. That’s code for Marxism and communism.
SDS wanted a revolution to overthrow capitalism and the republic in America. But they were split; they didn’t know exactly how to accomplish it.
Enter Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. This lovely pair said the best way to bring about the change they sought was to get everyone on welfare, so that the system would eventually collapse under its own weight. Got it?
So, in this group of radicals were a few names we’ve heard before: Wade Rathke decided to try to accomplish that goal through peaceful means; William Ayers and Jeff Jones went the other way with the Weather Underground.
Why do I bring all of this up now? Why are we still talking about ’60s radicals? Because, all of these people are still involved.
Wade Rathke with ACORN; his brother Dale is at SEIU — we think. No one will give us straight answer on where he went after embezzling almost $1 million.
Bill Ayers is in education — infecting young minds with his radicalism as a professor at the University of Illinois.
Jeff Jones runs a consulting firm and chairs the Apollo Alliance in New York — the same Apollo Alliance that wrote the stimulus package.
Does that sound bad? Wait there’s more. (Again, the fringe media can’t seem to put it together. Why? They are either complicit or wildly out of touch.)
But remember, if you’re in the fringe media, this is all just conspiracy theory. I mean, you’d have to verify with crazy technology called — Google. I know — that’s certainly not the full power of ABC News, but, I don’t have as much time for sailing as Charlie Gibson does.
OK, so remember Jeff Jones — the co-founder of the Weather Underground, the guy we told you about a few weeks ago, due to his connection to the Van Jones. Who, by the way, the White House will remind you on their own blog: “Many of the arbitrarily labeled ‘czars’ on Beck’s list are Senate-confirmed appointees or advisory roles carried over from previous administrations.”
Nobody gets it. Step back and look at the big picture.
Nobody has looked into Harry Reid’s own words: “This legislation is the first step in building a clean energy economy that creates jobs…. The Apollo Alliance has been an important factor in helping us develop and execute a strategy that makes great progress on these goals and in motivating the public to support them.”
Which is why Jeff Jones writes this on his own blog: “Since mid-summer, Glenn Beck, a commentator for FOX News, and others have waged a smear campaign against the Apollo Alliance, and Van Jones, who resigned his White House post as a special adviser to the President on green jobs and clean energy. Because of my work with the New York State Apollo Alliance and my history of political activism, starting with the anti-Vietnam War movement in the 1960s, and my opposition to segregation and racism, I have also been attacked.”
Notice that Jeff mentions opposition to segregation and racism. But is that what he’s really known for? He conveniently leaves out co-founding the Weather Underground. That would be like me describing myself as a baker’s assistant and not mentioning FOX News or this show — it’s what I’m most known for.
Jeff Jones goes on: “I am committed to the idea of building a partnership of workers, environmentalists, business, government, social and environmental justice advocates.”
And you know who else is behind that “social justice” thing that Jeff Jones believed in so much he was willing to blow things up?

Dell found itself the center of news involving legal issues in two states this week, New York and New Orleans. In New York, Dell was fined $4 million for fraudulent and deceptive advertising around PCs sold to consumers. In New Orleans, two companies claim Dell conspired with city officials to sell a surveillance camera system they developed. Dell reportedly said it already had settled many of the cases in New York and has denied the allegations in New Orleans.
Dell is wrapping up a difficult week in the courtroom.
Dell was ordered Sept. 15 to pay a $4 million fine in New York for misleading consumers about financing terms, warranties and rebates on their PCs. Around the same time, the computer maker found itself embroiled in a civil trial in New Orleans involving that city’s crime detection cameras.
New York’s attorney general’s office claimed in a suit filed in 2007 that Dell was deceptive and misleading in its advertising, and that as a result some customers in the state were saddled by high credit rates. A year later, the state’s Supreme Court ruled against Dell, finding it guilty of fraud, false advertising and other related charges.
Dell was fined $4 million and agreed to change how it advertised its products as well as its financing practices.

N.Y. Attorney General Andrew Cuomo was pleased with the settlement.
“Today’s announcement is the final step in ensuring New Yorkers harmed by Dell’s deceptive and illegal business practices are fully compensated,” Cuomo said in a statement announcing the settlement. “Going forward, this deal means that Dell will have to clearly and fully disclose the terms and conditions of their products and services, to avoid this kind of fraud at the consumer’s expense.”
New Yorkers who want to file a claim for compensation can do so here, according to Cuomo’s office.
The case in New Orleans stems from the city’s post-Katrina desire to put cameras in high-crime areas. Two companies, Southern Electronics Supply and Active Solutions, claim they had contracted with the city in 2004 to supply the crime camera equipment, but that city officials—including Mayor Ray Nagin—reneged on the deal and misused the companies’ technology.
The companies also claim that technology officials in New Orleans conspired with Dell to allow the computer maker to sell their system commercially.
Officials with both Dell and New Orleans denied the accusation.
The trial, which began this week with jury selection, reportedly could run as long as two to three weeks.

Obama is putting the muscle on NY Govenor Paterson to not run for re-election.
1. I think this is personal because Obama is pissed that Paterson did not pick Caroline Kennedy; and

CNN and the rest of the “Fringe Media” smell blood in the water and as they pursue this issue with Fox News it is only “Common Sense” to know that as they close in for the Kill that they are only Exposing the Fact that they present the news in a very liberal way and with bias to protect Obama. ( I am referring to the news stories they do show) Negative press against Obama is Censored by the Fringe. Americans deep down know this and it is only a matter of time before Main Stream America triumphs over Obama and the Fringe Media Corrupt and Deceptive reporting of the news brings them down. Good Bye CNN (Communist News Agency) and all your fellow Socialists followers.

Romney taunts Democrats with memories of Carter

WASHINGTON (AP) — Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has been telling a group of conservatives that President Barack Obama’s spending and borrowing have weakened the nation.
He’s among speakers at the Values Voter Summit in Washington. Republicans have been gathering there to talk about what they say is a growing political rebellion in the country.
Romney says Obama’s policies will greatly increase the deficit, and will help lead to severe economic problems. As Romney puts it, “I’ll bet you never dreamed you’d look back at Jimmy Carter as the good old days.”
House Republican leader John Boehner also addressed the summit. He says nationwide protests known as “tea parties” are the result of resistance against Democrats’ spending. He accuses his Democratic colleagues of “bankrupting” the country.
The Fringe Media is in for a rude awaking as I am sure Fox News will now take off the the Gloves and give them a taste of what Fox gave Acorn.

Sorry, VF. I have been concentrating on articles from here and not what people have said. When well, I will do just that. I did it a couple of times.
I have been down with a bronchial infection and am grateful to VF for covering to a greater extent than she can at FRIENDS.
I have not heard the word “golf” fall from her fangs in a long time. She needs to have some fun in the sun before the snow and the blow hit us.
I will check in and type a few words from time to time but will be mostly nearby in my bunk below decks. I hope the coughing doesn’t interrupt too much and I will be sure to wear my custom dog mask when near you.
Actually, I think I will go OVERBOARD and make my remarks by satellite carrier pigeon. After all the MO when you are sick is:

A flyby to let the FOX know that I enjoyed the other version of “The night they drove old dixie down” immensely. I not only love the tune and the words but the overall sense of the thing is very moving. It is a true elegy to a lost world and a gentle way of life. Slavery was something practiced north and south. We saw a wrong and made an amendment so that every man was equal. Then we made another so that women could vote also. We have the ability to change the Constitution LEGALLY, to MAKE LAW LEGALLY.
You that say the Constitution was made by white men that owned slaves and made women second class, like that makes it null and void, those men made a way to change and repair wrongs.
They knew they were not perfect. That is why they allowed for Amendments in the Constitution. Man is not perfect and never will be. But as a nation, we have outdone any other nation ever conceived because our Constitution allows for free men and women to be creative and dream. Freedom is how we got where we are. Until recently, every free country wanted to be like us. People still come here wanting the American dream. WHAT IN THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE AMERICAN DREAM?
