Draws 4.1 Million Fewer Viewers Than Third Press Conference
In a continued push for congressional support of health care reform President Obama held his fourth prime time press conference on Wednesday July 22, 2009. The conference was carried live from 8:00PM to approximately 9:00PM on 11 networks. The sum of average audience for those networks was 24,682,519 viewers and had a combined household rating of 16.3. The networks carrying the press conference were ABC, CBS, NBC, Univision*, Telemundo*, BBC-A, BET, CNBC, CNN, FOX News Channel, and MSNBC.
Viewing to last night’s press conference was down 14% from his April 29 press conference and down 50% from his first primetime conference on February 9.

According to published reports, Barack Obama’s legal team has been paid over one million dollars, so far, to STOP anyone from seeing ANY of his actual identification documents, or many other documents:
* Actual long-form birth certificate (NOT an easily-forged electronic copy of a short-form document that is not even officially accepted in Hawaii)
* Passport files
* University of Chicago Law School scholarly articles
* Harvard Law Review articles
* Harvard Law School records
* Columbia University records
* Columbia University senior thesis, “Soviet Nuclear Disarmament”
* Occidental College records, including financial aid that he may have received
* Punahou School records, where Mr. Obama attended from the fifth grade until he finished high school
* Noelani Elementary School records, where Barack Obama attended kindergarten (according to the Hawaii Department of Education, students must submit a birth certificate to register — but parents may bring a passport or student visa if the child is from a foreign country)
* Complete files and schedules of his years as an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004
* Obama’s client list from during his time in private practice with the Chicago law firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill and Gallard
* Illinois State Bar Association records
* Baptism records
* Obama/Dunham marriage license
* Obama/Dunham divorce documents
* Soetoro/Dunham marriage license
* Soetero/Dunham Adoption records
By the way, the issue of the Occidental College records is especially pertinent. The United States Justice Foundation (USJF) served officials at Occidental College with a subpoena to produce records concerning Barack Obama’s attendance there during the 1980’s, because those records could document whether he was attending as a foreign national. You see, Mr. Obama attended the school on a scholarship — and there are questions as to whether the financial aid he received was reserved for foreign students. The Obama attorneys have bent over backward to block us. He doesn’t want anyone to see those records. He’s STILL trying to hide them; those financial records STILL have not been released.
WHAT is Barack Obama trying to hide? WHAT is he afraid of? WHY doesn’t he just release these documents to prove that he is a natural-born citizen and, therefore, qualified to serve as President — especially his actual birth certificate?
Isn’t it time we FORCED him to come clean? His “birthday” is the PERFECT time to do it!
Good Morning Lisa. The media can’t ignore the birth certificate issue any longer. I think the power players in the democratic party know and are hiding the real truth about his birht issue and are ready to blow obama out of the water if he screws up too bad and starts taking them down and keeps losing support.
We all know, the man is backed into a corner and We The People are pushing him farther and farther back. Even the LEFT is getting sick of his bullying, “intelligence Insulting”, his racism, etc. of Americans.

People I was talking to a friend about the dollar collapsing, etc. and she was saying that God sets kings up and God brings them down and that the power of prayer is our strongest weapon against evil. People, we all know that. My next post was going to be about The Pilgrims Progress by JohnBunyan and it’s applicability today, but in relation to what is going on here, but my next is going to be of this scripture and a plead to Americans everywhere to pray harder than we ever have. Because we are in spiritual war fare. Eph 6:12 (i think is the scripture reference)

I had several concerns about the “Town Hall Press Conference.” As in his town hall meetings, he had a good idea of who he would call on and in what order and in fact he called someone out when he/she jumped ahead of the “line.” Further, from answers to questions, he was thoroughly prepared for the questions of the pre-selected members of the Press. We need to hear more from the press about this.
About his comments on the incident on Cambridge MA:
1. He did not observe what I will call “legal protocol” (and he is an attorney). When questioned about the incident, he did not say “I prefer not to comment on an on-going investigation. Not all of the facts are known at this time and until they are, I cannot be justified in commenting.
2. To have said the above, the President would have been representing ALL of the people.
3. However, President Obama chose to stand with his friend, a distinguished Africian American Professor at Harvard University. He said it himself: “I may be prejudiced because he is a friend.” The President himself is not above the law and now above prejudice along with everyone else. However, this honesty did not excuse his jumping into the middle of this on-going situation and perhaps exacerbating it by empowering the professor to indicate that he will not drop the matter but is considering a lawsuit. Certainly he was back at Harvard the next day talking about it with students and his daughter was on TV commenting.
4. He characterized the Cambridge police as having acted “stupidly.” According to the Chief of the Cambridge Police, this had a demoralizing effect on his police force.
5. The President went on to provide the citizens of this country a lecture on the history of racial profiling and to emphasize that it goes on today. In doing so he was defending his friend the professor and using the bully pulpit to teach the uniniated what it is to be a black man in America when confronted by the police. Granted racial profiling is real but at that early stage in the investigation, was this a factor?
Since the inception of his Presidency, the President has not been trying overly hard to bring us together. He has made efforts on multiple occasions to lecture mainly European and other non-black and latinos on where blacks are coming from. He is not just into making black culture more widely known and muslim culture more acceptable, it seems that he is doing so at the expense of the European culture.
1. During his first trip abroad, neither he nor Michelle gave customary deference to the Queen of England. And during the furor over his friend Sarkozy’s dropping the Queen from his Normandy Invasion Anniversary memorial, he did not make a public stand in support of our oldest and staunchest ally. Britain has the largest per capita muslim population in Europe and it is growing and increasigly an aggressive force. Mullahs have threatened that within ten years there will be a Muslim Prime Minister and Shirah law will be in place.
2. He makes an apology for American behavior in the past.
3. He makes a welcoming speech to the muslim nations – and this is something that has been needed.
4. He demnstrates a deference in meeting the Saudi Prince that he denied the Queen of England.
5. And how about the two well-balanced visits to the sites of human torture at the hands of European Americans:

I have heard recently local news reports that they are closing down many highway rest stops in my state due to budget problems. I will have to keep and eye on the ones that are close to me just to see if there is any military activity or new construction going on and I suggest everyone else do the same. I would not put anything passed obama and the democrats.

wow. roland martin lost his cool big time. It’s obviously he is losing sleep over this issue. I’m not a big fan of his. Lou was awesome. He didn’t need to do much to show how irrational rm was.
The Congressman mischaracterizes the certificate from the State of Hawaii. It is not an announcement. I am glad Lou explained some details that I have been asking for. I trust that he has done his homework. So the hospital says they destroyed the original document? Why would they do that? Why not give we the people the original?
I am going to go look at my bc. I don’t think it is an original. It doesn’t have the hospital or doctor or much of anything on it. I might have to try to get a copy. My mom can’t even remember the hospital in Queens where I was born. I guess all her 7 births blend together somehow. Imagine that. But I think I figured out the hospital. The name has something to do with the immaculate conception. haha
This issue is getting more intriguing. As I’ve stated before, I think Obama needs to come clean. He is hiding something. Of course his children were along as well as Mrs. Obama and her mother to enable them to visit the probable point of departure for Michelle’s ancestors for the new world for a life in slavery. The President did not make a photo-op visit here. He provided a guided tour to the news media commenting throughout. Again, another lecture.
There is no handbook for the first Black American Presiden to follow in deftling handling a multi-cultural population; there is no handbook for me who helped elect him to understand what the presidency of an Afro-American and what it would bring. We are all finding our way. But President Obama is not only bright, well-traveled, highly educated and experienced in politics, he is known to think things through thoroughly. From choosing his foreign itinerary to choosing which newsmen he will call upon at Press Conferences, he leaves nothing to chance. For this reason, I am very disappointed in the tactics he has chosen to imploy in dealing with the US population at large that is not black or latino. These two groups he has carefully linked in all of his speeches about prejudice. At his speech before the NAACP, he added, I believe, Muslims – a religion not a race.
So for we white European Independents, there is very little that the Obama administration has done to include us in the welcoming ceremonies he has conducted. We are the students; he is the teacher who is going to set things straight.
He has incited racism in so much that he has done – in highlighting differences and the history of those differences.
And now against this backdrop, he wants to speed through his expansive programs of health, economic and education reforms.
He is cutting a broad swath through our society bringing a thunderstorm of change and he is not bringing all of us with him.
Sadly, President Obama’s words do not match his actions. He has not brought us together; he has effectively launched another round of racial unrest with, you guessed it, white men and women as the “perps.” Mr. President, you will not get my vote for a second term of this destructive behavior. We do not need deconstruction in the US; we need reconstruction of our infrastructure, economy and values. Care to join the rest of us?
The birth certificate issue is not going to die. I believe it now has a life of it own and will keep dogging obama until the truth comes out.
Sam Henry, everything Obama is about is his version of “social justice” whether it is accurate or not, whether warranted or not. Most of his bills are just souped up welfare bills… which will ultimately destroy this nation.

There’s a descriptive word for Roland Martin, but I will reframe from saying it.
I say let’s belabor the point. That piece of paper is NOT a birth certificate. And RM days that its Lou Dobbs… Well, its folks like me. I’m complaining & I that an offense to my concerns being dismissed.
And another thing. Obama maybe a citizen of the United States. But I do NOT believe he is a natural born citizen.
Do I believe Arnold Schwarzenegger is a citizen of the U.S. ? Yes. Is Arnold a natural born citizen. Absolutely NOT!
And for RM to say that: Obama is the President is like he he’s telling us to “shut up”… “he the president, end of story”. That’s bull shit!!
There have been individuals who got jobs as Doctors. But were discovered later on to have fake medical degree.
RM’s crappy position is that Obama’s title as president nulls & void any protest into the validity of previously presented document. This is like telling a patient to not protest the validity of the doctor because he has a piece of paper claiming he’s legit.
And as an American, have the right to ask & question this. I have the right to see the proof.
