Scott Brown surges to 4 Point Lead; WARNING: Obama Troll Infestation of Joe Kennedy Candidacy can affect outcome

Respected Suffolk University Poll discovers Scott Brown has surged into a 4 point lead in his race against Martha Coakley for the People of Massachusetts US Senate Seat.

BUT…

If you think the candidacy of Joe Kennedy, the Libertarian Candidate, can not have an effect on the outcome of this race, you are WRONG.

Obama Trolls are infesting the Joe Kennedy Support Network in every way possible pretending to be do or die Libertarians driving conservative supporters away from switching to Scott Brown.

Poll shows Brown Overtaking Coakley

1/14/2010

Likely voters in the Bay State have turned expectations upside down as Republican State Sen. Scott Brown (50 percent) now leads Democrat Attorney General Martha Coakley (46 percent) in the race to be the next U.S. senator from Massachusetts, according to a Suffolk University/7News poll.  Independent candidate Joseph L. Kennedy — no relation to the legendary Kennedy clan — had 3 percent, with 1 percent undecided.

“Although the results show a race within the statistical margin of error, Scott Brown has surged dramatically,” said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center.  “He is attracting independent support by a wide margin and even winning some Democrats who won’t vote the party line this time.”

Bill Clinton: ‘We Can Rebuild’ Haiti

Former President Bill Clinton expressed hope Friday that Haiti can be rebuilt in the wake of a devastating earthquake that has killed up to an estimated 50,000 people and left thousands more homeless, hungry and in despair.

Former President Bill Clinton expressed hope Friday that Haiti can be rebuilt in the wake of the devastating earthquake that has killed up to an estimated 50,000 people and left thousands more homeless, hungry and in despair.

But Clinton, who was appointed the United Nation’s special envoy to Haiti in 2008, said the island first needs to get through the next week or two with as much help as possible from donors.

“When this emergency passes, when we’ve gone through all the rubble, when we’ve recovered every person we possible can, living and dead, when we cleared the streets, then we know Haiti is going to have to get back on its feet again and we want to be part of that,” Clinton told Fox News.

    “We can rebuild,” he said.

President Obama tapped former President George W. Bush and Clinton to help lead Haiti relief efforts. In a joint statement Thursday, they said they are “deeply saddened” by the situation in Haiti and have accepted Obama’s offer to lead “private sector fundraising efforts.”

Clinton warned that it will be a “long-term recovery process” and in the short run, there will be some unpleasant developments, like looting. He said the government was “disabled” by the earthquake.

“There are going to be some rough edges here,” he said. “The infrastructure of the country was essentially crushed in the capital city because of this earthquake. But on the other hand, there’s a lot of reason to hope.”

Clinton acknowledged the difficulty of rebuilding a country that has long been plagued by political corruption, natural disasters and dire poverty.

“They are trying to turn a corner here and together we may find it easier to take a path of transparency and openness,” he said. “They want to do this. They want to build a modern society.”

  18. LisaInTX says:

Today, nearly 13 TRILLION in taxpayer dollars in bailouts and loans has been agreed to by Congress, the Bush and Obama Treasury Departments, and the out of control Fed.

So is it really any wonder more and more folks are starting to realize the Washington, D.C. establishment is hurtling us toward complete economic disaster?

Whether it’s watching a phony “stimulus” package get rammed into law or watching Congress pass a $700 BILLION bank “bailout” under threat of martial law, the American people are agitated and increasingly angry.

That means it’s a perfect time to unleash the pressure of MILLIONS of outraged Americans on the out of control Fed!

So please click here to sign the petition linked below urging your Congressman and Senators to cosponsor and seek roll call votes to pass the Audit the Fed Bill!

    Campaign for Liberty

As I know you’re aware, the Federal Reserve is shrouded in secrecy. Their meetings are off-limits to the public. Their inner workings are off-limits to the public.

And just recently, the Federal Reserve told Congress “NO WAY” when asked to account for $2 TRILLION in taxpayer-backed loans!

Well, why do you think they refused?

They know coming clean with Congress and the American people on how they doled out that two TRILLION dollars would result in an anti-Fed firestorm.

So can you imagine the impact of a full-scale audit? You and I will finally be able to show the American people that the Federal Reserve System leads to:

    *** Constant economic crises — the housing crisis and the resulting chaos is just one example of an economic bubble created by centrally-planned interest rates and money manipulation;

    *** The destruction of the middle class — as fuel, food, housing, medical care and education costs soar, everyone who is NOT on the government dole is forced to make do with less as the value of their money slowly decreases;

*** Currency destruction — history shows us that riots, violence and full-scale police states can result when people finally realize our money isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on and REFUSE to accept it.

And unless you and I do end the madness in Washington, D.C., we may be closer than we’d like to think to learning that history lesson firsthand — right here in our own streets.
I urge you to cosponsor and make every effort to seek roll call votes on the Audit the Fed Bill, H.R. 1207/S 604.

Former President Clinton is an idiot to suggest that America Rebuild Haiti when we ourselves are in the midst of a Great Recession.

  54. rosehips says:

very interesting info on the American occupation of Haiti in 1915:

From 1911 to 1915 there were six different Presidents of Haiti, each of whom was killed or forced into exile.[1] The revolutionary armies were formed by cacos, peasant brigands from the mountains of the north, along the porous Dominican border, who were enlisted by rival political factions with promises of money to be paid after a successful revolution and an opportunity to plunder.

The United States was particularly apprehensive about the role of the small German community in Haiti (approximately 200 in 1910), who wielded a disproportionate amount of economic power. German nationals controlled about 80 percent of the country’s international commerce. They also owned and operated utilities in Cap Haïtien and Port-au-Prince, the main wharf and a tramway in the capital, and a railroad serving the Plaine de Cul-du-Sac.

The German community proved more willing to integrate into Haitian society than any other group of white foreigners, including the more numerous French. Some Germans married into the nation’s most prominent mulatto families, thus bypassing the constitutional prohibition against foreign land-ownership. They also served as the principal financiers of the nation’s innumerable revolutions, floating innumerable loans-at high interest rates-to competing political factions.

In an effort to limit German influence, in 1910-11 the State Department backed a consortium of American investors, assembled by the National City Bank of New York, in acquiring control of the Banque National d’Haïti, the nation’s only commercial bank and the government treasury.

In February 1915 Jean Vilbrun Guillaume Sam established a dictatorship, but in July, facing a new revolt, he massacred 167 political prisoners, all of whom were from elite families. Sam was then lynched by a mob in Port-au-Prince.

It is alleged that a popular uprising against Sam threatened American business interests in the country (such as HASCO). Because of these competing interests and the possibility of the cacos-supported anti-American Rosalvo Bobo emerging as the next President of Haiti, the American government decided to act quickly to preserve their economic dominance over Haiti.[2]

American President Woodrow Wilson sent 330 U.S. Marines to Port-au-Prince on July 28, 1915. The specific order from the Secretary of the Navy to the invasion commander, Admiral William Deville Bundy, was to “protect American and foreign” interests. However, to avoid public criticism the occupation was labelled as a mission to “re-establish peace and order…[and] has nothing to do with any diplomatic negotiations of the past or the future” as disclosed by Rear Admiral Caperton.[3]

The Haitian government had been receiving large loans from both American and French banks over the past few decades and were growing increasingly incapable in fulfilling their debt repayment. If an anti-American government prevailed under the leadership of Rosalvo Bobo, there would be no promise of any debt repayment, and the refusal of American investments would have been assured. Within six weeks of the occupation, representatives from the United States controlled Haitian customs houses and administrative institutions such as banks and the national treasury. Through American manipulation, 40% of the national income was used to alleviate the debt repayment to both American and French banks.[4]Despite the large sums due to overseas banks, this economic decision ignored the interests of the majority of the Haitian population and froze the economic growth the country needed. For the next nineteen years, advisors of the United States governed the country, enforced by the United States Marine Corps.

Texas Nuclear Plant Put on Lockdown Due to Nearby Hunters

    Friday, January 15, 2010

An Amarillo, Texas nuclear plant was put on precautionary lockdown after armed hunters were spotted in a field across from the plant, the Carson County Sheriff’s Department said.

Pantex Plant activated its Emergency Response Organization at 8 a.m. Friday in response to a possible security situation. Pantex employees were moved to a safe location.

Police were on the scene and said there was no danger to the public.

“They did have it locked down,” said an official, who wished to remain anonymous, at the Texas Department of Public Safety, according to Reuters. “There was no security breach. It was purely a precautionary measure.”

The Pantex Plant is a nuclear weapons assembly and disassembly facility.

    Thanks for posting that.
They have a wall topped with razor wire surrounding that plant…..and as I recall, it’s a one way in and a one way out to the main gate….
maybe they used the ‘hunters’ as a reason to shutdown for a ‘test’…….no way can guys sporting shotguns for duck hunting can be confused with “terrorist” out to sneak into the the plant?
    It’s a mystery IMO…..

  96. rosehips says:

re: pantex. this is why I always say we must calculate the costs of security for all of our nuclear facilities when we estimate the cost of nukes. Sometimes that security will require many future years of costly measures to avert any possible acts of terrorism or treason.
