Comrade Ron Bloom hates Capitalism so Obama made him the Manufacturing CZAR; Whats not to love? (video)

rom bloom communist manufacturing czar

Manufacturing Czar Ron Bloom is the latest in a long line of White House officials who seem to just love Chairman Mao. Mao, of course, is the loving former Chinese dictator who killed 70 million people during peacetime, so what’s not to love?

Comrade Bloom also mocked capitalism, “We know that the free market is nonsense.”  This is of course the sentiment you want from the guy trying to create jobs in the manufacturing sector.

You are paying for him… so pop some popcorn and enjoy watching your Obama Manufacturing Czar in action:

Obama clearly has his reasons for hiring Capitalist-hating Mao-admiring Communists as his CZARs and advisers… and he keeps his secrets.

Still in doubt that Obama is a secretive man with a secretive past?

Why did Obama travel to Pakistan 1981 as a private US citizen for three weeks? Sight seeing with a collage ‘friend’? Really?

I mean, REALLY?

Pakistan was under martial law in 1981 and certain undesirables… Christians, Jews, and Americans… were prohibited from entering the country. Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department’s “no travel” list, making a U.S. passport no more valuable than an empty Marlboro cigarette pack at the Karachi Port of Entry.

Michelle Obama And The Communist Manifesto

If there was any doubt Obamas’ wife is a communist this should put it to rest.

“If we don’t wake up as a nation with a new kind of leadership…for how we want this country to work, then we won’t get universal health care,” she said.

“The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.”

I can’t believe in this day that people can be so stupid as to believe that our economy is a zero sum gain. The size of the “pie” is ever changing and if you’re willing to work hard you’ll increase your size of the “pie.” But the communist talking point is that the pie is always the same size and the government must take some of the pie away from those who have a big piece and give that money to someone who has a small piece of that pie. I wonder if Obama knows many people have a small piece of pie because they are unwilling to work, hooked on drugs, lazy, not willing to put in long hours, etc…?

Grassley Warns HHS Web Site May Be ‘Propaganda’

Reid Sees Progress in Health Talks, but Work Remains

Senate Finance ranking member Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is raising concerns that a Department of Health and Human Services Web site that urges visitors to send an e-mail to President Barack Obama praising his health care reform plan may violate rules against government-funded propaganda.

The Web page is accessed through a “state your support” button featured prominently on the HHS Web site and carries a disclaimer that the Web site is maintained by HHS.

In a letter sent to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius Tuesday, Grassley warned that “any possible misuse of appropriated funds by the executive branch to engage in publicity or propaganda in support of an Administration priority is a matter that must be investigated and taken seriously,” noting that in 2005 Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) argued that “the use of official funds for similar activities were ‘underhanded tactics’ and that these tactics ‘are not worthy of our great democracy.’”

The form letter on the “state your support” page includes language hailing Obama’s efforts. “We strongly support your commitment to comprehensive health reform. This is not a luxury. The continuing, sharp escalation of health care costs for families, businesses, and government is unsustainable. Reform is imperative. We believe that health reform must be enacted this year,” the letter says.

Additionally, the form letter says that signatories will back Obama’s efforts. “During these extraordinarily challenging times, we need to put aside past differences and address the health and economic crisis. Our shared interest must come before narrow interests so we can achieve a health system that is affordable and provides high quality for all Americans. We will support your budget with its reserve fund dedicated to achieving health care reform in a fiscally responsible manner. Each of us must be prepared to contribute to achieving this fundamental goal. By signing this statement we affirm our commitment to work with you and our Congressional leaders to enact legislation this year which provides affordable, high quality coverage for all Americans.”

The page requires signatories to provide their name, zip code and e-mail address, and also asks for their mailing address and phone number, although that information is not labeled as required.

In his letter, Grassley notes that HHS has recently issued new guidance to insurers that they must obtain permission from beneficiaries before sending out mailers critical of the reform efforts in Congress. “The use of the official HHS.gov Web site for activities that seem to be nothing more than government propaganda raises many serious questions,” Grassley wrote.

Grassley asked Sebelius for a host of information, including which contractors helped develop the Web site, which third parties and executive branch offices will have access to the personal data and whether signatories will be or have been contacted by HHS or other executive branch offices.

“Healthreform.gov is a valuable resource for the American people and we look forward to discussing this resource with the Senator,” HHS spokesman Nick Papas said Tuesday evening.

Washington Post Poll and the Government Plan

    By Philip Klein on 10.20.09 @ 10:05AM

Liberals are touting a new Washington Post poll purporting to show a majority of 57 percent of Americans support including a government-run plan, or public option, in health care legislation. It’s worth noting a few things about this result. The important thing to keep in mind is that while some of us are really focused on the details of the health care debate, it isn’t the same for most of the country. As I noted last week, a Pew poll found that only 56 percent of the public recognized that the “public option” had something vaguely to do with the issue of health care, while 11 percent thought it had to do with either banking regulation, unemployment, or energy policy — and 33 percent wouldn’t even wager a guess. What this tells me is that for a good chunk of the population, polling on the issue will largely depend on how the question is asked, because if only 56 percent know it has something to do with health care, it’s probably even a smaller portion of the public that really understands what it’s all about. So, in this case, the Washington Post asked the question in the most benign sounding way, as it is typically pitched by liberal supporters, “Would you support or oppose having the government create a new health insurance plan to compete with private health insurance plans?” In this case, the pollsters used the market-friendly term “compete” even though it’s the subject of tremendous debate whether or not that competition could be fair. Back in June, the Post did another poll, which actually found even broader support for the government plan — 62 percent. But in that poll, they asked a follow up question, “What if having the government create a new health insurance plan made many private health insurers go out of business because they could not compete?” After asking that, support droped to 37 percent.

It’s worth mentioning a few other items from today’s poll. It shows 56 percent support a mandate requiring individuals to purchase health insurance, and that number goes up to 71 percent when people are told that legislation would also provide financial assistance to those with lower incomes to purchase insurance. However, pollsters did not mention in any of the questions that anybody who does not obtain health insurance would face a tax of $750.

Other findings in the poll are much more mixed. For instance, it shows that:

Overall, 45 percent of Americans favor the broad outlines of the proposals now moving in Congress, while 48 percent are opposed, about the same division that existed in August, at the height of angry town hall meetings over health-care reform. Seven in 10 Democrats back the plan, while almost nine in 10 Republicans oppose it. Independents divide 52 percent against, 42 percent in favor of the legislation.

Meanwhile, as many people disapprove of Obama’s handling of health care as approve — 48 percent — and 68 percent think health care legislation will add to the deficit.

The bottom line: do I think these poll results will be politically useful for those making the case for a government plan? Yes. Do I think it suggests a groundswell of public support for this policy measure? Absolutely not.

    Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 28% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12. The Approval Index rating has been lower only on two days since the current President took office (see trends).

The President’s plan for sending $250 to senior citizens gets mixed reviews from the public. Fifty percent (50%) like the idea, but support falls to 41% when the price tag is mentioned. Seniors are less enthusiastic about it than younger adults.

Forty-four percent (44%) have confidence in the stability of the U.S. banking system, 50% do not. Seventy-eight percent (78%) say that Wall Street has benefited more than taxpayers from the bank bailouts.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). .

Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. Fifty percent (52%) disapprove

  51. VotingFemale says:

Send this form letter to the white house…

    Dear Mr. President,

We strongly oppose your commitment to comprehensive health reform.

This is a socialist ploy to control the population at a level akin to Chairman Mao’s domination of the peoples of China. The continuing, sharp escalation of White House Attacks on families, businesses, and those in government who see through this Communist stunt is unsustainable. Your cease and desist of your Intimidation and Propaganda Tactics is imperative.

We believe that health reform must not be used as a vehicle for installing Communism into the Government of the United States. Not now; not ever.

It is clear that Health Care Reform Obama Style is a Clear and Present Danger to America’s families struggling with rising taxes and those who are losing their insurance due to your lack of effective measures to stimulate the Free Market System to help the Private Sector Create jobs and reverse the 10% unemployment they are suffering at your hands. At the same time, real health reform is being bastardized by you and your thugs to keep American businesses from being competitive in the world economy and from achieving long-term economic viability. As our country faces economic challenges, the last thing we need is a Marxist Solution which you are bent on applying.

We condemn Communist health reform that follows these principles:

    * Attack families’ financial health
    * Make unaffordable, any quality health coverage for all Americans
    * Prevent portability of coverage
    * Pretense that choice of doctors does not already exist, no thanks to you
    * Invest in promotion of Communism at the expense of Liberty and Freedom
    * Make patient safety and quality of care dependent on obedience to a Communist Regime
*Create barriers to coverage for people who are not compliant and obedient to a coming Communist Take over of America
    * Reduce long-term growth of the Free Market Private sector by increasing health costs for businesses and the middle class

During these extraordinarily challenging times, we patriots need to put aside past differences and address the Communist contrived health “crisis” and the Communist created economic crisis. Our shared interest must come before narrow interests of these Communists so we can achieve a victory against Obama and the Communism he is using against a health system that is already working for the vast majority of Americans. We will not support your budget with its taxes and deficit funding dedicated to using health care reform as a Communist Tool to destroy what is a fiscally responsible Private Sector and Free Market System. Each of us must be prepared to contribute to achieving this fundamental goal.

By signing this statement we affirm our commitment to work against you and your Congressional thugs working to enact legislation this year which will install Communism as an Institution within the US Government.

Democrat: believers of 2010 Republican majority in “la la land”

    Posted by: Tabassum Zakaria

Congressman Chris Van Hollen, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, says the November 2010 midterm elections will be difficult, but anyone who believes Republicans will wrest majority control of the House of Representatives is living in “la la land.”

The midterm elections will be viewed by many as a referendum on the policies of Democratic President Barack Obama.

“It is going to be a very volatile, political environment,” Van Hollen said at the Reuters Washington Summit.

He pointed out that since the days of President Abraham Lincoln, only twice has a new president’s party picked up seats in the first midterm election — in 1934 (when Franklin D. Roosevelt was president) and 2002 (when George W. Bush was president).

“So other than those two times, the president’s party has lost seats and the average losses are fairly dramatic,” averaging about 35 seats, Van Hollen said.

Right now there are 256 Democrats and 177 Republicans, and two vacancies in the 435-member U.S. House of Representatives.

“So we told our members to be prepared, no one’s going to be surprised,” Van Hollen said.

“I would say that anyone who thinks this is going to be a 1994 redux is in la la land. The Democrats are not going to lose control of the House,” he said.

In the midterm elections in 1994, when Democratic President Bill Clinton was in the White House, Republicans gained seats and won control of both the House and Senate for the first time in 40 years.

Van Hollen engaged in a little name-calling, saying the Republican Party these days was “the party of pessimism” and “the party of no” that did not want to be part of the solution to America’s problems.

Dems eye insurance industry’s antitrust protection

    Oct 21, 7:08 AM (ET)

    By DAVID ESPO

WASHINGTON (AP) – Top Senate Democrats intend to try to strip the health insurance industry of its exemption from federal antitrust laws, according to congressional officials, the latest evidence of a deepening struggle over President Barack Obama’s effort to overhaul the health care industry.

If enacted, the switch would mean greater federal regulation for an industry that recently has stepped up its criticism of portions of a health care bill moving toward the Senate floor.

Congressional officials said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada and Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, arranged to make the announcement Wednesday, joined by Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York.

The officials who disclosed the plans did so on condition of anonymity to avoid pre-empting a formal announcement.

In a statement, the major industry trade group, America’s Health Insurance Plans, said the industry already was one of the most regulated in the country. The focus on the industry’s antitrust exemption, it said, was “a political ploy designed to distract attention away from the real issue of rising health care costs.”

The move against the antitrust exemption came as Obama appealed to congressional Democrats not to let internal differences sink his comprehensive plan to remake the nation’s health care system. “The bill you least like” improves coverage for millions, he said in New York. “Let’s make sure that we keep our eye on the prize.”

After months of struggle, Democratic leaders in the House and Senate hope to have legislation ready for votes in both houses within a few weeks, and plan on having a compromise measure ready for Obama’s signature by the end of the year.

Progress has been slow, particularly as Democrats squabble over whether to allow the federal government to sell insurance in direct competition with private insurers, and if so, under what terms. Obama’s remarks appeared an attempt to place that and similar disagreements in a larger context – a decades-long attempt to provide insurance for millions who lack it while cracking down on insurance industry practices such as denying coverage on the basis of pre-existing medical conditions.

Insurance industry officials have been involved in discussions for months with the White House and key congressional Democrats over proposed legislation. They repeatedly said they would accept a series of new restrictions, as long as the legislation required Americans to purchase insurance, thus assuring insurers millions of new customers.

The tone changed last week after the Senate Finance Committee approved legislation that exempted an estimated 2 million individuals from the requirement to purchase insurance and greatly reduced the penalties on those still subject to the requirement.

In a report paid for by the insurance industry, the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers said the legislation would add $1,700 a year to the cost of family coverage in 2013 when most of the major provisions of the Senate Finance Committee bill would be in effect.

The White House, Democrats in Congress and other supporters of the legislation attacked the study as flawed and deceptive.

Within a few days, Leahy convened a Judiciary Committee meeting to air the possibility of revoking the industry’s antitrust exemption.

Alexander to White House: Don’t Create ‘Enemies List’

A top Senate Republican will take to the floor Wednesday morning to suggest that the Obama White House is plotting a political strategy similar to that of ex-President Richard Nixon and may be on the verge of preparing its own “enemies list.”

Senate Republican Conference Chairman Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, who served in the Nixon White House, plans to offer what he will say is a “friendly suggestion” to the White House not to repeat the errors he saw committed by the staff of the disgraced former president.

“Based upon that experience and my forty years since then in and out of public life I want to make what I hope will be taken as a friendly suggestion to President Obama and his White House: don’t create an enemies list,” Alexander will say, according to a copy of his remarks obtained by Roll Call.

Describing the actions of Vice President Spiro Agnew and Nixon operative Chuck Colson, Alexander will say that he sees “symptoms of this same kind of animus developing in the Obama Administration.”

Alexander will read off a list of examples he says support his contention, including: a reported effort by the White House to marginalize the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a supposed effort by the Health and Human Services Department to put a “gag order” on the insurer Humana, the White House move to take on Fox News, Obama’s repeated criticisms of banks and investment houses, his alleged “taking names” of “bondholders who resisted the GM and Chrysler bailouts,” and the president’s move to make insurers the boogeyman of the health care debate.

Alexander will claim that the incipient White House “enemies” campaign extends even to Congress. He will suggest that Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) was the victim of a sort of payback, saying that after Kyl suggested the stimulus plan wasn’t working, the White house subsequently wrote the governor of Arizona that, “If you don’t want the money, we won’t send it.”

He will say that after he and Sen. Bob Bennett (R) of Utah questioned the power of White House “czars,” they both were “called out” on the White House blog.

“This behavior is typical of street brawls and political campaign consultants,” Alexander will say. “If the President and his top aides treat people with different views as enemies instead of listening to what they have to say, they’re likely to end up with a narrow view and a feeling that the whole world is out to get them. And as those of us who served in the Nixon White House know, that can get you into a lot of trouble.”

CNN Poll: Half the country disagrees with Obama on issues.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – For the first time since he took over in the White House, Americans don’t see eye to eye with President Barack Obama on the important issues, according to a new national poll. But the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey does indicate that a majority approve of how Obama’s handling his duties as president.

According to the poll, which was released Tuesday, 48 percent of people questioned say that they agree with Obama on the issues that matter most to them, with 51 percent saying no. That’s a switch from April, when 57 percent said they agreed with the president on important issues, with 41 percent disagreeing.

“Obama is facing crunch time on a number of controversial issues, from health care to financial regulation to cap and trade to Afghanistan,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “The fact that most Americans no longer agree with him on important issues makes his task harder.”

Fifty-five percent of those questioned say they approve of how Obama’s handling his duties, with 43 percent disapproving. The 55 percent approval rating is down 3 points from September. Most recent national polls place the president’s approval rating in the low to mid 50’s.

“Obama continues to do poorly among senior citizens,” says Holland. “Most Americans over the age of 65 disapprove of how he is handling his job as president.”

The poll also suggests that two out of three Americans say Obama has the qualities a president should have, down 12 points from April – one indication the Nobel Peace Prize may not have helped him much in that regard.

Most Americans, 56 percent, don’t approve of the Norwegian Nobel Committee’s decision to award the Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama, and only a third believe that Obama has done enough to deserve the prize. But seven in 10 are proud that a U.S. president won the prestigious award.

Sixty-five percent say they have a favorable opinion of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and 64 percent say they view first lady Michelle Obama favorably. Both women rate higher than the six in 10 questioned who view Obama in a favorable light. Forty-five percent say they have a favorable opinion of Vice President Joe Biden, 5 points higher than the four in 10 who view Biden unfavorably.

“It’s not surprising that Clinton tops Barack Obama on the favorable ratings,” says Holland. “Secretaries of State don’t get blamed for economic problems or unpopular domestic policies, and they often don’t get the same share of the blame as the commander-in-Chief for international slip-ups either. But typically, the first lady gets even better favorable ratings than the Secretary of State, so the fact that Clinton’s numbers are slightly better than Michelle Obama’s is a bit surprising.”

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll was conducted Sunday through Thursday, with 1,038 adult Americans questioned by telephone. The survey’s sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.

MoveOn demands that Democrats stay off Fox News
    By Michelle Malkin • October 20, 2009 02:36 PM

A reader just sent this fresh missive from the Fox News Deranged-foot soldiers at MoveOn:

From: Noah T. Winer, MoveOn.org Civic Action moveon-help@list.moveon.org
    Subject: Stay off FOX
    [Recipient name redacted]
    Date: Tuesday, October 20, 2009, 2:05 PM

    Dear MoveOn member,

All year, FOX has worked 24/7 to block President Obama’s agenda—repeating lies about “death panels,” promoting Tea Party protests, and whipping up fake political scandals.1

Now, President Obama is fighting back. The White House communications director said FOX is a “wing of the Republican Party…let’s not pretend they’re a news network.”2 To draw attention to its biased coverage, President Obama will not appear on FOX for the rest of this year.3

It’s about time Democrats stood up to FOX! Can you sign this petition asking Democrats to support President Obama’s stance by staying off FOX as long as he does? We’ll deliver it to Sen. Lautenberg and Sen. Menendez. Clicking here will add your name:

    http://civic.moveon.org/foxobama/o.pl?id=17603-12662345-_CGt.ax&t=3

The petition says: “Democrats should support President Obama’s effort to call out FOX. Please stay off FOX for as long as he does.”

Democrats often appear on FOX in hopes of reaching out to conservative viewers. But FOX cuts off their mic, distorts what they say, or runs biased headlines at the bottom of the screen.4 In the end, Democrats always lose on FOX.

FOX insists there’s a difference between its news shows and its right-wing opinion shows with Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, and others.

But in August, FOX’s so-called news shows “aired 22 clips of town hall meeting attendees opposed” to Obama’s health care plans and zero in support. CNN and MSNBC were more fair and balanced.5

In another “news” story, FOX passed off a GOP press release as its own research—typo and all.6

FOX executives now describe the channel as “the voice of opposition” to Obama’s agenda. FOX president Roger Ailes—a former adviser to Nixon, Reagan, and George H.W. Bush—said, “I see this as the Alamo.”7

But a Capitol Hill newspaper reports, “In the House and Senate, Democrats who pledged to follow the administration’s near-boycott of Fox were hard to find, although many expressed support for Obama’s stance.”8

Democrats will only find the courage to join Obama if they hear from enough concerned voters. Sign this petition to ask Sen. Lautenberg and Sen. Menendez to stay off FOX. Clicking here will add your name:

It is obvious to me, Obama & Co want a smiley face on their Communist Takeover. But will replace it with what ever they feel will work if that Smiley Face does not work. They want the public to eat the sheep chow and drink the koolaid…

But, failing that… will do what ever it takes to complete their mission of shreading the constitution and replacing it with Communism.

They are showing desperation by attacking FOX who is showing videos of the Obama Administration Communist Radical CZARS and associates in arms.

This behavior destroys their smiley face game… now they are seriously pissed… and seeing the Rasmussen poll obama approval numbers heading relentlessly south is having it’s effect.

They can not fact check a video of a communist being and talking communism who is in the Obama Administration. There is no defense against it except an all out attack on the messenger, FOX News. Their attack is backfiring which really pisses them off.

I think an Obama contract for the assassination of Beck, Hannity, and O’Reilly has already been discussed in the white house. Whether they do it or not depends, in my opinion, on their future level of desperation.
