Joy Behar also said, “…he [Obama] knows that if push comes to shove, he can lay out the rest of these runts [people exercising 1st Amendment Free Speech] with a couple of good smacks of his presidential pen.”

Then we have Frau Joy Behar speaking out of the other side of her face… saying “I believe in free speech” as she exercises it by engaging in on-air smearing personal attacks, not only on the person she is a replacement for at CNN, but on all recovering alcoholics on the planet.

Sarah Palin Backed Hoffman Severely Beats out Scozzafava in polls; Dede Withdraws; GOP switches support to Hoffman

Doug Hoffman Wins Conservative Political Battle as the true conservative candidate

The RNC Backed candidate Dede Scozzafava was the Vote Splitter, not Doug Hoffman.
Trailing Doug Hoffman by 16% in the Siena poll conducted Oct. 27-29 and released today, the true Vote Splitter has surfaced… it was Dede.

GOP Backed Candidate, Dede Scozzafava, Republican Candidate for New Jersey’s 23rd District Seat in the US House of Representatives announced to the media today that she has suspended her Campaign.

This is a serious win for Sarah Palin and other big name GOP Heavy Weights who Disagreed with the GOP Business as Usual Forces such as Newt Gingrich and Michael Steel who backed a Socialist ACORN Endorsed RINO and rejected a true Reagan Conservative, Doug Hoffman.

This Victory Speaks of the Power of Reagan Conservatism: 912ers, Tea Partiers, and Political Backer of Doug Hoffman: Sarah Palin.

The Big Name Republicans Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee, who choose to Remain on the Sidelines in this fight between Scozzafava and Hoffman, are now rewarded with knowing looks and with appropriate note taking for their lack of Backbone.

Not taking a stand in this internal GOP Power Struggle is Political Cowardice in my book, thus has damaged Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee in the eyes of true Conservatives who backed Doug Hoffman prior to Dede throwing in the towel.

Republican Dede Scozzafava announced Saturday that she is suspending her campaign in the Nov. 3 House special election in New York, a dramatic development that increases the GOP’s chances of winning the contentious and closely-watched race.

“In recent days, polls have indicated that my chances of winning this election are not as strong as we would like them to be. The reality that I’ve come to accept is that in today’s political arena, you must be able to back up your message with money—and as I’ve been outspent on both sides, I’ve been unable to effectively address many of the charges that have been made about my record,” she said in a statement.

“It is increasingly clear that pressure is mounting on many of my supporters to shift their support. Consequently, I hereby release those individuals who have endorsed and supported my campaign to transfer their support as they see fit to do so. I am and have always been a proud Republican.”

Her decision came as a Siena Research Institute poll released Saturday confirmed that her support has all but collapsed over the last month. In her statement, Scozzafava acknowledged that while her name will continue to appear on the ballot, “victory is unlikely.”

The Siena poll conducted Oct. 27-29, in line with other recent polls, showed Democrat Bill Owens holding a razor-thin lead over Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman, 36 percent to 35 percent.

Scozzafava trailed far behind at 20 percent, with 9 percent of voters still undecided.

The National Republican Congressional Committee will now be throwing its support to Hoffman, after endorsing Scozzafava and deriding the Conservative Party candidate in statements throughout much of the race.

The fortunes of Scozzafava and Hoffman had nearly flipped over the last month as national attention focused on the upstate New York race, which has become a rallying point for grassroots conservatives.

Conservatives have assert that Scozzafava, a GOP establishment-backed state assemblywoman who supports abortion rights and gay marriage, is far too liberal for them to support and numerous prominent GOP figures have recently endorsed Hoffman.

Scozzafava, who in the beginning of the month was the frontrunner with a 7-point lead over Owens in an Oct. 1 Siena poll, saw her support crater while Hoffman surged from a distant third place to a virtual tie in the polls with Owens.

With Scozzafava slipping in the polls and her candidacy dividing the GOP, national Republicans began hedging their bets on her campaign and have recently signaled that they would no longer actively resist Hoffman’s candidacy.

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Pete Sessions (R-Texas) told POLITICO Thursday that he would welcome Hoffman “with open arms.” On Friday, Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele told POLITICO that a Hoffman victory is essentially a Republican Party victory.

“You’ve got two Republicans running in that race. My upside is that one of them will likely win,” Steele said. “We want to be supporting the one that wins.”

Flowers for Our Great Lady Sent by the Tea Party Movement

For several years, I sang my original, “Celebrate America” at monthly U.S. Immigration Citizenship Ceremonies in Maryland. I took great pride in the knowledge that mine was the first song the approximate 1000 applicants heard as new American citizens after taking their long dreamed of, oath of allegiance. Each ceremony was an emotional event of great celebration.

It was not unusual to see very old applicants in wheel chairs, proudly and tearfully taking the oath; their raised right hand supported by a grandchild, son or daughter. Obviously, becoming an American was a great honor to them. Unfortunately, such love and passion for our country seems the stuff of days gone by. To many, it is considered hoky, redneck, un-global minded (gag me) and even offensive to love your country. It simply isn’t sophisticated to be waving the flag all over the place. We patriots are those simple minded folks who “cling to God and guns” as Obama described us during his presidential campaign.

Liberalism has contributed greatly to the decline of patriotism. The hostile takeover of our schools by Liberalism has indoctrinated many of our kids to hate their country. They are encouraged to sing the praises of Barack Hussein Obama, but not God and country.

Years ago, a dear white friend told me her son, who was in middle school, came home in tears feeling guilty for the horrible things his white ancestors and our founding fathers did to “Native Americans”. This poor kid was taught a laundry list of evils perpetuated by his race and America. Today, my friend’s son is a 22 year old Marxist who passionately hates Capitalism and America. Thank you, public school system.

The Tea Party Movement has sparked a resurgence of patriotism. The movement, itself was birthed out of fear of the far left agenda and radical changes being implemented by the Obama administration. Despite attempts by the liberal media and the Obama gang to convince us otherwise, we see and feel the threat of destruction of the traditions, values and institutions which we hold dear and have made America great.

The realization of Obama’s threat to our country is a blessing. Many of us have taken America, our Great Lady, for granted far too long; never telling her how pretty she is, how much we love her or how much we appreciate everything she does for us. And when is the last time you gave America flowers? America, we love you and don’t want to lose you.

In response to my article proclaiming that I am an American rather than a hyphenated African American, I received the following letter. Talk about having “the right stuff”, the author and his dad are great Americans. This letter reflects the kind of patriotism I long to see again on a massive scale.

“Letter from an Unhyphenated American‏. Sir, I very much enjoy your articles in American Thinker and I can relate to the unhyphenated American moniker.  My father is a Holocaust survivor, Catholic from Poland.  He escaped to this country, joined the US Navy and earned his citizenship.  As a first-generation American, I can tell you that I cannot speak Polish…my father insisted that we learn only English because America saved him from the Nazis and the Soviets.  He married a Californian of Irish and Mexican decent and served in the Navy and the Navy reserves for over 30 years.  I am now into my 16^th year in the United States Air Force.

I appreciate your story of overcoming adversity and your unabashed love of this country.  I just wanted to drop a line of encouragement for you activities in the Tea Party movement and urge you to continue to be a voice of common sense and reason in these uncertain times.”

Folks, you can feel the gratitude, love and respect these men have for their country. The father in this letter “gets it”. He knows what it means to live under tyranny and appreciates the great and rare wonderful gift we enjoy as Americans called freedom. He epitomizes the type of immigrant Lady Liberty and the American people embraces with open arms. He feels as the lyric in Lee Greenwood’s classic song, “…proud to be an American”.

Sunday (10-25-09) I begin traveling across America on the Tea Party Express II tour. While these rallies are where we encourage patriots to stay strong and work to restore our freedom, liberty and culture, they are love letters and flowers to America. The rallies are also a continuation of my Million Hand Shake March.

  The Bush campaign commercial about Dukakis’ furlough program never showed a picture of Horton. In fact, the actors playing “criminals” passing through a revolving door in the ad were all white. Voters considered it relevant that a candidate for president was so beholden to the ACLU that he backed an idiotic furlough program that released first-degree murderers.

  Every informed student of the 1988 campaign knows that the Bush ad didn’t show Horton’s picture. And yet in Keith’s discussion of Bush’s allegedly vile, racist use of Willie Horton, he used a phony version of the ad, doctored to include a photo of Horton.

  I don’t blame Keith personally for this blatant distortion: He gets all his research material from Markos Moulitsas and other left-wing bloggers, so he can’t be held responsible for the content of his show. Keith’s principle contribution to the program is his nightly display of self-congratulation and pompous douche-baggery.

  Remember, Keith, like his MSNBC colleague Contessa Brewer, majored in “communications” in college, not a research-related field, such as political science. In his coursework, he learned such skills as: Dramatically Turning to Camera, Hysterical Self-Righteousness, Pausing Portentously and Gravely Demanding Apologies/Resignations From Various Public Figures.

  Given this background, it’s understandable that Keith will make errors. As viewers witnessed recently, he can’t even pronounce the name of prominent American economist and philosopher, Thomas Sowell. (Although he did spend three weeks at a Berlitz course in Arabic honing his pronunciation of “Abu Ghraib” to razor-sharp prissiness.)

  The bloggers and Keith bring different skill sets to the game. They provide the tendentious half-truths, phony opinion polls and spurious social science, while Keith provides his booming baritone, gigantic “Guys and Dolls” suits and gift for ridiculous, fustian grandiloquence. Keith is far better equipped than, say, the pint-sized, girly-voiced, Frito Bandito-accented Markos Moulitsas to deliver the party line.

  But here’s the fly in the ointment: Keith has once again been victimized by left-wing blogs into thinking that the 1988 Bush ad showed Willie Horton’s picture, when in fact, Horton’s race was deliberately scrubbed from the ad.

  Again, in fairness to Keith, he’s never been a “content guy.” He was a communications major. (The agriculture school Keith attended offered a degree in this field.) He lifts the material for his show from liberal blogs, overwrites it, and throws in his trademark smirking and snorts. But that’s all he does because, again, he was a communications major.

Valerie Jarrett Get’s Punked on CNN for attacking FOX News

It seems even CNN can figure out… going along with Barack Obama’s War On FOX will hurt CNN in the end. Their ratings have dropped to last place and FOX News ratings have been boosted another 10% during the White House War On Media Giant FOX News, the most Powerful News Giant in the world.

Thus… being capable of adding 1 + 1 and determining the result is 2, CNN has put their oar in the water to signal Barack Obama there is a limit to how far CNN will go to win pats on the head from The Chosen One…

Here’s the transcript:

Brown: So do you think FOX News is biased?

Jarrett: Well, of course they’re biased. Of course they are.

Brown: OK. Then do you also think that MSNBC is biased?

Jarrett: Well, you know what? This is the thing. I don’t want to–actually, I don’t want to just generalize all FOX is biased or that another station is biased. I think what we want to do is look at it on a case-by-case basis. And when we see a pattern of distortion, we’re going to be honest about that pattern of distortion.

Brown: But you only see that at FOX News? That’s all that–you have spoken out about FOX News.

Jarrett: That’s actually not true. I think that what the administration has said very clearly is that we’re going to speak truth to power.

      Lou Dobbs, As long as the person defacing the American Flag is not Hispanic it’s all Good.
      Because according to Mr. Dobbs if you’re Hispanic you better have Documentation even if you’re Homeless in the Hood.

    I think it’s time everyone just ignored Glenn Beck. Just don’t give him any coverage at all. That is the best way to deal with this type of shock-jockism. if we don’t pay attention, he will either go away or lose relevance.

      That sort of advice has never made any sense. We’re not talking about some hyperactive child that’s running amok to get attention, and they’ll just stop if you ignore them. There’s money involved here. There’s an audience. Ignoring it provides no conflict or sense of disapproval for people to bear in mind.

      What this means is that while people like Beck are trying to mainstream their radical conspiracy theories, viewers are not presented with any reason to dismiss that nonsense. It’s common sense to think that someone would object if there wasn’t really something to what he was saying. Sponsors wouldn’t be pressured in any way to withdraw from the show or give Beck an ultimatum if people aren’t inspired to contact them and complain about the programming. Consider Imus. If nobody covered what he said, would he have paid any price for his words? Without a documented history of other comments, then would his “nappy-headed hos” line have gotten him fired? That same concept applies to Beck, where there will never be a “straw that breaks the camel’s back” if none of the other straws are put on there to begin with. Along the same lines, a lack of coverage would allow him to contradict himself any number of times without taking a significant hit to his credibility. When he says that he opposed Bush’s bailouts now, the vast majority of viewers aren’t going to remember the exact words he said to the contrary two years ago or whatever.

      Typically your argument relies on some “controversy is what they want” concept. We don’t really know what anyone wants. People will surely act like they enjoy it, because it’s not like they’re going to admit otherwise. But it’s not a trumping concern anyway. It’s not about what anyone wants, it’s about protecting the public dialogue and holding people accountable for unacceptable behavior.

Yesterday, Joe Lieberman issued a public statement that he would join with Republicans in the Senate to Filibuster the ObamaCare bill if it contained a Public Option.

Lieberman appeared on FOX News yesterday and today and further clarified his position to say that while there are Health Industry reforms that are needed (which Republican Senators agree with) what he opposes is anything that adds costs to taxpayers and those who are already health insured.

To be sure there are Moderate DEM Congress men and women who are not Kamikazi Communists willing to fall on their swords… not willing to be ‘all in, win lose or draw‘ alongside Pelosi, Reid, and Obama on their bid to Federalize American Health Care.

What was George Soros’ response?

Moveon.org Issues Warning to Democrats Opposed to ‘Public Option’

Any Democrat who opposes the government option will lose support from the organization’s 5 million members, according to an e-mail sent by the group to its supporters.

Moveon.org issued a warning Tuesday to any Democrat who might join Republicans to filibuster a government-run insurance option — if you oppose the government option you will lose support from the organization’s 5 million members

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced Monday that the Senate’s version of a health care reform bill will include a so-called public option. Moveon.org issued its e-mail to its supporters threatening revolt one day later.

The group said it surveyed its members over the weekend and found that “93 percent of MoveOn members agreed that any senator who helps block an up-or-down vote on a health care bill with the public option should lose the support of all five million of us — no donations, no volunteering, and no help getting out the vote.”

To ensure conservative Democrats will not oppose the public option, the group is launching an “emergency campaign” to urge them to support an up-or-down vote.

Despite its support, the group added that Reid’s bill is still problematic.

“The ‘opt-out’ version of the public option has real problems,” the e-mail said, adding that “the most conservative states in the country would likely opt out, potentially leaving millions of uninsured folks without access to the affordable health care a public option would provide.”

This race has gained world-wide attention because of an internal war between Hoffman supporting Conservative Voters in combination with Sarah Palin, Governor Tim Pawlenty, Dick Armey, Fred Thompson among others and the big guns in the GOP including Newt Gingrich who is fully backing and funding the GOP Candidate Dede Scozzafava, a Socialist Endorsed RINO (Republican In Name Only) politician who has the blessing of  The Daily KOS, a Soros funded Socialist/Communist propaganda Obamaist promoting website.

Dede Scozzafava also enjoys the backing of an ACORN Owner/Operator Political Party which goes by the name of Working Families Party and according to The Daily KOS Dede has been a member and a political candidate of Working Families Party in the past.

What was The Daily KOS reaction to REDSTATE’s  announcement of Governor Pawlenty extending his support of Hoffman and rejection of Scozzafava? Why, attack Redstate and start their Sybil-esque walk back of their support for Scozzafava.

Poor little communist Daily Kos Trolls… perhaps CNN can give you darlings some airtime to what little viewership they have, what with CNN now being in last place in the ratings and all.

Poor ole Dede Scozzafava… her RINO-NESS has indeed caught up with her… and she now is in third place in the Real Polls… not the pretend Polls The Daily KOS likes to quote.

REDSTATE EXCLUSIVE: Tim Pawlenty Endorses Doug Hoffman

With polling now showing NY-23 has come down to a two man race between Hoffman and Owens, the Democrat, momentum is clearly in Hoffman’s favor.

Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota is now adding to the momentum becoming the first sitting Republican Governor to endorse Hoffman. This comes on the heels of Sarah Palin’s endorsement from last week.

What makes this stand out even more than the Palin endorsement is that Pawlenty has not been seen as diverging with the Republican establishment. He’s not seen as the maverick that Palin is.

But Pawlenty has a huge amount of stature inside the Republican establishment, more so than Palin. That he is now willing to come out in favor of Hoffman is going to resonate among the Republican establishment in ways Palin’s endorsement will not.

And it now sets up battle lines for 2012. I still don’t think Palin is going to run, but even were she, we now have two candidates, a former Governor and Vice Presidential candidate and a sitting Governor and potential 2012 candidate breaking with the establishment in favor of the Republican base.

Governor Pawlenty sent RedState the following statement:

“We cannot send more politicians to Washington who wear the Republican jersey on the campaign trail, but then vote like Democrats in Congress on issues like card check and taxes. After reviewing the candidates’ positions, I’m endorsing Doug Hoffman in New York’s special election. Doug understands the federal government needs to quit spending so much, will vote against tax increases, and protect key values like the right to vote in private in union elections.”

Now we’re going to have to ask where the other 2012 candidates are. Who else is willing to be brave and bold. Who else will defy the beltway and stand with the heartland? Conservative activists have legitimately made New York’s 23rd Congressional District a Hill to Die On. The GOP establishment must know that it will either win with us or lose without us.

And now we are seeing who is willing to stand with us on this Hill. Tim Pawlenty, today, proves he is willing to put principle above party. Tim Pawlenty is willing to stand with the Republican Base, the tea party activists, and the Conservative Movement.

When 2012 rolls around, Palin and Pawlenty’s boldness will be remembered. Which of the other potential candidates will side with conservatives over the beltway establishment?

And we should also remember Fred Thompson, the Club for Growth, Dick Armey, Rick Santorum, Steve Forbes and other real conservatives — all of whom have gone all in for Doug Hoffman.

When the October cable news ratings are finalized Monday afternoon, CNN will finish fourth and last place for the first time, the New York Times’ Media Decoder blog reports. The network that pioneered the 24-hour news format has trailed the Fox News Channel and MSNBC before, but is now also being beaten by its sister network, CNN Headline News.

For the first time, MSNBC’s “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” beat CNN’s prime-time highlight, “Anderson Cooper 360,” and Sean Hannity’s and Rachel Maddow’s programs both finished solidly ahead of “Larry King Live” in the prime-time hours.

CNN said that it still attracts the most viewers when all hours of the day are considered, and that it is no surprise that viewers turn to more partisan programming during prime-time. “CNN’s ratings are always going to be more dependent on the news environment, much more so that opinion-based programming especially in prime time,” the network said in a statement.

CNN? You would have us all believe your fall to last place in the ratings is the doings of bias of other (FOX News) networks?
